She never asked if he had a co-signer. She asked about his income. She then said she had someone signing a lease sitting in front of her could she have someone named Kim call me back because she's new. I got no calls back. This was 4 days ago. The LEAST they could have done was call back and advise what his credit needed to be OR ask of someone was willing to cosign; ANYTHING to try to help (referral, advice, more questions etc). We were only inquiring. My father is a Vietnam war vet and a retiree of the Long Island Railroad (30 years). Clearly these people want good credit only. No call back so now I'm left to assume they were being selective. I'd rather move him back North where I got calls back and kinder treatment. They probably don't care about one negative review anyway but here it is. Thanks for nothing.

But after 9 days of my mother-in-law being at the Commons we took her out!!! The staff are very inexperienced with the special needs that my mother-in-law requires, she has dementia and gastroparesis, which requires a very special diet. On the first day she was there they gave her foods she could not eat. The staff played on their phones every time I visited her in the short time of 9 days. They never welcomed her to make her feel at home and when we went to visit she would be crying and she would say take me home. Well with that being said we got her home to find bruises on her backside and bruised up and down her arms. Please, please before you put your loved one in a facility think twice. Left a bad taste in my mouth as we expected a bit more compassion for my mother-in-law. She is in her own home now with a live in nurse and security cameras and happy. So if you ask me how was her stay at Savannah Commons?? Awful!!!

When your elderly family member is in reasonably good health--no problem. If their health declines, and what elderly person's health doesn't decline, you are OUT. No advanced warning and given literally days to find another facility by administration. Their contract covers every possible scenario so you are left feeling helpless and abandoned.

Given that the hair style was freshly groomed locs, the request was truly to not have locs at all. The integrity of the office team is so poor that when the team member attempted to report this incident, Executive Director Patty Dixon provided the team member with a fake number. The gentleman on the other side of that number said he "has no idea" why anyone would give a team member his number for a workplace incident report. Clearly Patty Dixon is not only lacking accountability for her discriminatory request to have her employee remove her locs, but she is also so secure in her position that she fears no consequence for playing work place games like giving team members fake contact numbers for HR related issues. Because I do not trust that this will be resolved internally since the management itself is flawed, I am leaving this report HERE on a public outlet. Hopefully Patty won't find a way to delete it. It may even be the first time her superiors will hear of this incident. I expect much better going forward

They use COVID as an excuse to make prisoners of the people they should be caring for. I was denied services that were supposed to be included in my rent because of such infractions as going to the library to pick up a book, or to Publix for coffee (which isn't included in breakfast. Really?). Beware! They're nice as can be until you sign on the line. Your money is all they're interested in.
