The salad bar at Harmons is my favorite spot to have a healthy lunch. The have many fresh veggies and fruits. Also, the selection of toppings and dressings are ample. Harmons is my place to go when my wife sends me to get any groceries. The store is impecable and the employees friendly. I just walk in and two employees ask me: "how are you doing?".

This review is for chef Daniela Oliveira cooking class. Went 5x and have 1 more to attend. We had one class with Instant Pot and cooked beef short ribs, chicken, pork ribs, basmati rice, and a soup stock base. The 2nd class was desserts, and it got a little crowded as there were some last minute people that signed up. Daniela was so fun and energetic, she explained things in a simple fashion. The 2 monitors with HD cameras gave us all a perfect view of her preparation and then we had to duplicate it. They have multiple cooking stations with stoves and ovens to allow everyone to do their own thing. There was so much food left over that I had food for days and met some awesome people to boot. Tomorrow is Indian class, and Saturday is a bread making class.

Just moved to Utah so I'm still learning the ways of great shopping experiences and gaining favorite spots. My grocery shopping experience was well worth the 5 stars and I would give them more if I could. Upon arriving to the store the parking lot was clear of shopping carts and had ample parking spots. When you enter the store it smells good. As you enter the floral department is to your left. All I can say is this was on a Friday night. Shelves stocked, so many employees offering and making sure we were finding everything we needed without being intrusive. The departments are beautifully decorated to showcase their individual specialties. The produce department, bakery, deli, coffee cafe, meat and seafood departments were so impressive. Along with our groceries we also bought fried chicken and some sushi so we could try it. Coming from South Florida I was hoping it would be as good as Publix. It was better. Now if only they could make sub sandwiches like publix...Hint hint Harmon's if you can master that you guys would be golden. Pricing wise you will find prices to be slightly higher than say a Walmart superstore or Smiths but to be honest my experience was so good that I will budget to be able to shop here.

It's hard to beat the quality of Harmon's. And it's consistently excellent, whether it be in the heart of downtown SLC at City Creek, in the Mojave desert at the St. George UT location, here in Riverton at the Mountain View Village shopping center ... or probably any of their locations. Things that stand out for this location? On my Saturday afternoon jaunt, it's crowded yet the shelves are, with few exceptions, fully and neatly stocked. The bathrooms are REALLY clean (and they have these hooks so you don't have to drag your coats (and other things) into the latrine!). Cost has always been an issue .... high prices come with that high quality. As with the other Harmon's: Their deli and cheeses are top-shelf quality; the staff is friendly; the volume of their trail mix and candies are only rivaled by WinCo, and their produce is c'est magnifique. There's also a nice little bistro where you can eat, drink, sip on a coffee, or just take a load off. Rivertonites: I can't think of a better way to Harmon-ize your grocery needs than at Mountain View Village Harmon's!

Beat salad. Not a beat fan, but very good.

Came to a cooking class on Saturday. Very professional setup. They had a dietician on-site and explained everything that was prepared. Brazilian food was the theme today. This was just a demo so I got to kick back and relax. So much fun and educational. Can't wait for the next one. If you get a chance try and attend one of their cooking sessions or demos. So worth it. You learn a lot about food and the process of preparing. All made with stuff right in the store. All the food was excellent!

Dark spots are air holes not spices. I tried to add pumpkin pie spice--didn't help post baking‼

I gave these guys a review of my cooking class directly and never received a response. I just…read morecalled to receive support for a $1,500 set of pans I purchased that are garbage and was told to reach out to the vendor. So here is your review. Cooking class: Instructor stated qualifications - "I love to cook, cooked w Grandma, did good in my HS cooking class. Read instructions from a paper ( we were told they would send us the recipes and they never did. Generally, if you have cooked any dish successfully or if you can read and follow a recipe, or if you have the internet and you prefer to have another person read the recipe that you can use any money you would spend here for a cooking class on some high quality ingredients at home and you won't have to cook with another couple at the same cooking station because there are 4 or more people per station.... That's right! You pay for a cooking class and you get to "rock, paper, scissors" with the other couple to share the tasks you paid to "learn".... Store: Generally looks nice. It is designed to funnel you from your "cooking class" into the store and sell you stuff after you've had a good experience like a Disney ride gift shop. Turns out it's like the plastic stuff from a Disney ride gift shop. You will eventually throw it away. My problem here is I bought a set of "forever" fancy pans made of stainless steel with a magical "titanium bonded" coating..... some real nice Hestons. However we have now researched and practiced and researched and practiced and cleaned with Heston's cleaner and researched and practiced and cleaned... you get the picture. This is to the tune of hours and hours of effort and hundreds of dollars of food wasted... we have done the mercury water test (I'm good at it now), we have cleaned them multiple times to remove food and cooking spray build up (nobody will say, but you're not supposed to use your cooking spray) use oil instead they say... we've done it. "Don't disturb the food" "stainless likes commitment". The food will "release" itself and then you stir. Yeah.... Nope. So after months of trying and researching, I can tell you these pans aren't good to work with... so I called the store. Turns out they can't help you if you used the pans, even once. They don't care about your problems or product problems. They don't really know anymore than you can find on line. So, my advice is: do the cooking class at home.... Find a YouTube video from a chef you like and buy quality ingredients, stop by the store, even buy the plastic gadgets that you throw away one day here if you want to pay 2x what they cost at Walmart.... Look at the expensive stuff like pans. If you decide you want to buy, take a picture of the brand and buy on line. These guys don't have most of that stuff in stock they just mark it up for you and it delivers to your house. What they won't do is help you. They grab a healthy mark up and run. This place is the reason it is better to shop on line. Amazon at least will give a guarantee that works.

Enjoyed visiting this store. They were local, they had what I needed for the next day (a pancake…read morebatter dispenser), and it was fun to see what they had. I find their prices to be very reasonable. They are not a HUGE store, but they are not too small, either. They have a lot of great kitchen items. There was a cooking class going on while I was there. The lady that helped me was super friendly and cheerful. So were the other employees. I think they have what it takes to be a successful business. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
