I love supporting a local business and a woman owned business. She has different vendor events throughout the year supporting other local business people who come and set up inside of her shop. This gives you a really unique way to get one of a kind clothing and jewelry, but not everyone else will have. Plenty of home decor, and the owner also makes unique floral designs and wreaths as well. Brookville is an entire experience. Quaint little downtown where you can walk and get a coffee, go to a restaurant and then just enjoy the charm of window shopping in a clean safe little town that feels like you just rewound 20 or 30 years. Make sure on your trip to drive over to the Brookville Dam area and take a walk on the causeway. This is a wonderful way to spend a Saturday.

RFG has a great selection of amazing furniture and we were helped by a gentleman named Greg. He is so sweet and so nice, and we walked that poor guy all over the store, upstairs and down.(Sorry Greg!!) But we did get some A---MAZING DEALS!!! Ask for Greg. He's fantastic!! Much has changed, including the location, but the same sign that hangs outside, and amazing smells that pour forth, greet me as if I never left. I love being greeted by the cool staff when I head back to my old haunt on High Street. I personally fought the urge to go home with the magnolia silk wreath beside the front counter but my mom ended up buying a kitchen tea towel and oven mit. From the moment you see the front window display at Cozy Nest you'll know this isn't your average small town gift shop filled with trinkets, Cherished Teddies, Precious Moments and Wooden Willows angels (no offense to you collectors out there). Conveniently located a few doors down from lunch at the Montage Cafe and cappuccinos at The Coffee Pot and you couldn't ask for a better Saturday morning in Greenville. I was impressed with the prices given what the items are. My only complaint was that the shopkeeper seemed to have a friend in while we were there and never greeted or engaged with us which would seem like a great marketing opportunity for a newer business. The first floor showcases mostly garden furnishings, and a staircase leads to a much larger, "main" second story where you will find unique lighting, upholstery, gifts and home accents. The owner was friendly during our visit and was very helpful and affable. The addition of the shop dog, Louie - a french bulldog, made this a well-rounded and adorable trip. The entire store was (and still might be) 30% off at the time. Definitely a fun find in the Oakley neighborhood!

I was walking my dog down Madison Road past Quince & Quinn. I stopped in front of this business…read morebecause my dog was sniffing their grass. An employee came outside and said, "May you please not relieve your dog here". I said of course, I wouldn't do that, he is just sniffing around. It was a very reasonable ask from the employee. I didn't leave the area right away and the employee began to curse at me for having my dog in that space! It was so startling and threatening, especially for truly minding my own business. I will never support Quince and Quinn. It is a shame they hire such disrespectful people who would yell at a young lady walking down the street. It made me feel very uncomfortable.
