I normally service my own mower but decided to just go ahead and pay to have someone else to do it…read more Getting older and no one to help just makes it easier. So, I thought. I live almost an hour away from this location, but I was O.K. with that. Dropped it off and filled out paperwork and stated what was to be done. I received a call about a week later saying mower was ready. Got there checked it out and everything seemed fine. Just over 300 dollars. Basically, wanted everything done. Oil, filter, belts, fuel gauge, blades, and lube. Got home unloaded from trailer and started mowing. I was about 30 minutes into mowing and drive belt breaks. I called the store and spoke with Jerry and asked if the belts were changed because the drive belt broke. He said he checked them out and they looked fine. I explained that the deck belt was fairly new, but the drive belt had never been replaced. Mower is about 8 years old. I even mentioned this when dropping off the mower. I informed him I checked off for the belts to be replaced, but he said it was inspection of the belts. (Best to get it all done at one time). He said he would check it out and if it needed to be replaced, he would change it. He didn't. (Good call)! Two hours driving and 300 dollars gone and right back to square one. When I paid, I got some other paper with the work that was done, not the paper I filled out with the work requested. Could not read the writing on the paperwork. Called a mobile mower company since mower will not move. Now I am out more money and time. Very frustrating. Now I remember why I try to do things myself. Was not impressed with the customer service at this location. It did not seem friendly and customer oriented. Even on the phone no apology or caring attitude for what happened.

The workers that came were professional and most times we did not know that they were there since my wife works from home. Melissa was our manager and she did a great job on listening to our concerns and ideas and even caught some items that we did not even notice. All in all it was a great experience and would absolutely use again for our next project. One of the the inspectors who was checking on our electrical and plumbing had real high complement's for Muse being very thorough with the expectations for the contractors and the client. That is a big plus.
