Not cheap, but good quality hairdresser with a chain of shops in the South East.

Turn your hair green and then expect you to wait a week to fix it. Was evident that they were more…read moreconcerned about cleaning up and closing than leaving me like this for a full week. Full details: At the first visit, I requested both highlights and lowlights, but the stylist did not apply lowlights and only put in highlights. She stated the bleach required 30 minutes to process but left it on for 56 minutes due to being busy. As a result, my hair came out far lighter than requested, completely different from the target photo I provided. When I returned to the Maidenhead salon the stylist admitted the colour had taken too much and attempted to correct it with lowlights and a toner. However, this resulted in my hair turning a khaki-green and grey in parts, rather than the medium, soft blonde I had asked for. I was told the only solution would be to wait for the toner to fade. Have been told will need to give up several more hours for it not to ever reach my desired look despite consistent errors. Customer care team is refusing even a partial refund. I will be starting legal proceedings.

Hiya, I'm a 16 year old who doesnt really know much about hair or anything like that, and was open…read moreto any ideas and guidance when it came to my hair. As I am 16 and am currently on minimum wage, my budget was very limited, and I just wanted an unnatural hair colour done professionally, as I have only dyed my own hair for the past 5 years. I understood that this might not be possible, as I had stained red hair, and was open to being turned away. When I got into the salon, I was told to take a seat in a chair to wait for the stylist. When my stylist arrived, she was very outspoken about the "greasiness" of my hair. This was through no fault of my own, as I had washed my hair 2 days prior (due to concerns that any dye wouldnt take), but I work in a high pressure and labour intensive position where I am required to wear a hat every day for a 9 hour shift. The lady had a disgusted expression and made it very evident that she had an immediate distaste towards me. I am not very traditional in my clothing choices aswell, which gained me a few amused looks from other stylists. I was then told that it wouldnt be possible to do the treatment unless they bleached my hair and cut it very short (absolute no, ive had awful cuts in the past and I am not going through that again), which I accepted, and was about to tell her that I would leave the salon, due to my budget being limited. Before I could do this, She then proceeded to say she would do a strand test on my head, and asked if she could cut a bit of my hair from the back. I said yes, ok why not. She then led me to the front desk and all of her coworkers gathered around. They were all giggling and laughing at my request, and stood in a circle excluding me from any conversation. I was laughed at by other customers, and the whole experience was just extremely unpleasant for someone who has multiple anxiety related conditions. I was told they would do a strand test, and call me back with the results. I never received a call, they now have a random chunk of my hair, and the claw clip my hair was in when I arrived. As a salon, I believe that you should advise someone on their hair journey, and politely decline their request if you don't think it is in their best interest, instead of ridiculing someone privately with your coworkers. Needless to say, I bought a box dye. I got my desired result with no issues at all and I'm very happy with my hair. Improve your customer service, because the whole team gave me a gossip sesh vibe. Really not very understanding or polite, and flat out LIED about calling me, doing a strand test etc. You could've just said no?? Anyways, I got blue hair in the end, but the whole situation made my day a lot worse
