I have two wonderful dogs I got from Tom two years apart. I wanted to buy two at my first visit,…read morebut Tom advised me that taking two puppies at once would make them difficult to train. He said that while I was away at work, the dogs would be deciding who would be leader of the pack, and that it would NOT be me. I really trust him for that. Tom has given me so much good advice as a new dog owner. He has spent his whole life around animals and puts much effort into best practices as a breeder. If you take the time to hear his philosophy, you will learn a lot and respect him as much as I do. This is not a puppy mill or a chain store. This is an older man on his farm trying to do right by the animals and the humans who take them home. Please do not judge him by the standards of the corporate world, this is not that kind of place. Trust the process and you will end up with just the right dog for your home.

gonna start off with i did not get any cats from her. i…read moredon't know maybe it was just me but i wasn't vibing with the seller. i really wanted one of her kittens listed but the way she texted me seemed hostile. i asked for the kittens coloring, eyes, and paws and she got defensive about it asking if i was a breeder because she will not sell to a breeder. i explained to her that i am not a breeder and she said that she would spay/neuter her cats before selling them. then why even ask me if i was a breeder if you were gonna get them spayed/neutered? anyway, i let it go and we set up an appointment to meet up. i think she didn't even remember that i made an appointment with her because when i rang the doorbell no one answered so i had to call her. she told me her house is under construction and i came with a friend (just in case) and we were not pleased with the odor. met the kitten and there were a lot of crusties on the eyes of the baby;( the seller didn't talk to me directly she mostly talked to my friend about the cat and my friend isn't even buying. my friend did try to redirect her to me but idk the lady didn't care. i didn't want to overstay my welcome so i told her i will keep in touch with her. i texted her that same day i met her to ask her more info about the kitten and asked her to send me any videos/photos of her growth and she asked why i needed to see the cat when i saw her already. usually, the cattery/breeder sends me photos of the kittens progress or even her family history. she kept asking me if i wanted to reserve the kitten because she never got a deposit. so i got confused and asked about her policy because i didn't know that she wanted a deposit. her text messages are not clear and she does not answer everything. she then sent me her website and said deposit through zelle/paypal/venmo but under friends/family. it seemed like she wasn't willing to give out any more information unless i gave her a non-refundable deposit. i talked to my husband about it and he said it's not a good idea. so i told her we will think about it... i have never had this experience before! every breeder/cattery i contact are very friendly and this lady just didn't seem like she wanted any of my business.

Maltese like all dogs raised and trained well are so affectionate. I received a package of everything I needed to start of with. Most importantly, after my military discount, the free package of necessities, and the same day appointment, I had the breeder come out to show me how to keep my little boy as bright white and clean as when I received him. Each of the dogs I saw were bright white, well groomed, I reviewed the AKC, CKC purebred pedigree registrations, all vaccination and vet records were in order, I even asked about the cray to prove each Maltese had four to five puppies a litter. OMG, my breeder had everything available. Most of all, she when to college for and works in the veterina field. I was impressed. Also, I confirmed the champion sired dog and the champion bloodline. I WENT TO SIX BREEDERS AND DIDN'T GET ANY OF THESE SERVICES. I recommend PawshMaltese.com. She has started the few other breeders who follow her business set up.
