They are currently temporarily closed during the pandemic, but I wanted to stop to write a review of them. We have 3 small dogs. When we go on vacation, we rent a "run" so the 3 can stay together and have plenty of room to run around. They also offer smaller pens and you can get "playtime" and "walks" etc. We've been using them for years and our dogs have NEVER come home sick or sad. They always come home happy and healthy, which is huge with a kennel. We went through a period last year, where I literally had to board them every weekend for 2 months due to a family situation on the west coast, and they came back to me happy as clams every week. Their prices are also SUPER reasonable. The owner is very accessible and friendly. On the grooming side, Nicole does a great job! I've had them groomed several times, while staying there. She does a good job interacting with the dogs and they come out looking adorable and smelling great. My dogs are a bit nervous of new people, but they took to her immediately. She's a sweet person and a great groomer with very fair pricing. I highly recommend both the boarding and the grooming.

Evidently, he had nipped counselors twice, which was enough to have him removed. I gave the staff recommendations for how to handle his requests for attention (even the staff noted that his nips were "not out of aggression"), but it seems they were unable to work productively with our dog. He has been through the PetSmart training programs through Advanced training and has taken the Therapy Dog training twice (passed all classes). He is a large breed dog and young, which can lead to unfortunate outcomes if one is not aware how to respond. The staff are lovely and kind, but this hard and fast rule made us need to relocate our guy to another daycare that has a greater ability to handle his unique personality. If you have a large breed dog that's mouthy or nippy, just be aware of this policy.

But Greenbriar thought about it, gave me a quote I could afford, and worked with me to keep Pistachio happy and healthy until I could pick her up again. They also offered nail trims while she was there, and sent updates periodically so I could see how she was doing. I am truly so grateful to the individuals at Greenbriar who looked after her! She is back in her stomping grounds now and is as much a princess as ever. She also learned some manners--doesn't get territorial anymore at mealtimes haha.

It was our first time meeting Mariah and Dr. Ainsworth today, but they treated us with such familiarity, which we appreciated. Mariah was so patient with one of our dogs who is super sassy and anxious and she walked us through everything the visit entailed. Dr. Ainsworth took the time to go over every single aspect of our dogs' day to day lives and discussed what we should tweak and what we shouldn't, which is so important to us because we want what's best for our dogs. We typically see Dr. Smith & we love her. She took time to really connect with not only our dogs, but us as well. We are always so pleased with our visits. Thank you for all that you do!

I called to get an understanding of the process for a new dog, and Allison and Rose both gave excellent instruction and made me feel secure about the whole thing. They provide a couple hour evaluation period where you leave your furball to get acquainted and assess if they're a good fit. They offer a nice tiered pricing policy too, ranging from care for 1 to over 6 hours. I brought my dog back after she passed the eval for a longer 5 hour play day and she came home happy and exhausted.

Today's issue happened to be that I got a call 15 minutes before I was supposed to be there saying that they needed me to come 30 minutes late to my scheduled appointment, when I said, I would split the difference and be 15 minutes late because I already had the dog in the car and was on my way. I was put on hold and then told that would be OK. Upon my arrival I was put in a room that had so much hair from the previous dog that the tub would not drain and I walked out covered in hair that was blowing around when trying to dry my dog (that was after having to move the dryer as they did not have the 2 that are normally there). Meanwhile, they were having one of their employees groom another dog in the room next-door instead of having the self wash stations open for self washes for their customers. Then to top it off the price to wash my own dog (with someone else's dog hair) is now $30 for a 20 minute time-slot, a teaspoon of shampoo and some of their water. I've been frustrated that it was difficult to call to schedule an appointment. Their website was/is cumbersome and not conducive to actually scheduling a time but gives an "afternoon/morning/evening" option. Then they would reach out to you with what times were available and you'd go back-and-forth trying to iron out a time instead of just being able to call. Very disappointed at the direction this new ownership has taken this establishment. This will probably be our last visit here...

It was easy to schedule a "meet and greet" with Amy and Andrew, who are visiting our two dogs (a quiet 9-year old and a 5-year old with attitude; both sighthounds) about 3 times a week. Since then Amy and Andrew have taken care of our pups for the past month or so. They are both responsible and have the kind of calm personality that all dogs feel comfortable being around. They've followed all our instructions, provided very detailed updates and pictures, and taken good care of our doggies. So far I am very pleased with the service. We love our dogs like children and feel good about entrusting Amy and Andrew with their care.

When the dogs have been playing outside in the mud, snow or rain the staff always makes sure they are clean and dry before releasing them to their owners. Lucy ALWAYS comes home tired and clean with a smile on her face. We will not take Lucy anywhere but WGTTD. Totally trust them with our girl!
