2024 visit- this place is still terrible. Watched the cashier take my cash, do something to his hair, then use the ice scoop to make drinks, and handle food without gloves or washing his hands. Used the app as it had a discount. She (a manager of some sort) gave me my total, scanned the app and the price went up $2 after the discount? Then we were given the wrong food and had to turn around and go back. This place needs to fire everybody, hire people that actually give a crap and train them properly. 3 stars for the friendly staff and quick service. Cashier was pleasant, informative and helpful. The inside was spotless and smelled pleasant. Double cheeseburger lacked salt seasoning, the onions were soft and lacked the crunch. Spicy chicken wrap was beyond dry. And I mean DRY. Almost no spice to it, the tortilla was the high point sadly. The fries were all stuck together which was strange, I didn't bother after the first few. I probably won't go back anytime soon. Thanks to the staff for being friendly. read more

Customer service.. bad Drive thru wait... bad Food... bad Tried the tenders and it was super salty and the sweet tea was sour. No matter how much your drink the taste away, it was like pure salt sitting on your tongue. Fries were old and stale. Tenders were soggy and salty. You'd expect the food to be decent because there one on me and one other person in the whole place. Would never eat lunch here again. Maybe try out the breakfast on another day. Need a lot of improvement and wait in line is pretty long for a place not so busy. read more

Remember when your Dad told you not to put the fork into the electrical outlet... but you did it anyway and learned from your mistake? Well on behalf of your Dad... don't order from this restaurant unless you want to learn the hard way again. Yes there was plenty of free parking as there were "no customers" when we arrived around 4:30pm on a Saturday. Yes plenty of employees available as they were just standing around talking as I entered to place a "to go order." I asked if they offered a military discount to which they said yes and I ordered two #1 combos (burgers) one was to have fries while the other was onion rings (for an additional charge.) I had to ask for the drink cups three times. When I got the bill it was $15.49 for two burgers, two small drinks and one onion rings and one french fry order. No military discount. When I asked again for the discount two employees said they didn't know how to correct the situation and I was told they "forgot" to apply the discount, Folks this is sad... but rather than waste time I went to the car with the order. My wife and I ate in the car (COVID protocol) as we had places to go. When finished eating the below average tasting food we looked everywhere for a trash receptacle and discovered only "ONE!" Parking easily for twenty plus cars and one overflowing trash bin. No wonder trash was on the ground by tables on the outside (see photos). My recommendation... if necessary stay hungry but don't order from this location until management gets serious about satisfied customers from all aspects of the food service business. read more

To say the least and be somewhat respectful the service is by far the worst. Rude ignorant staff and the management is no better. After I received my food I let them know it was wrong the manager came out put her bare hands on the burger took it back and just added what was missing on the burger ( a meat patty and lettuce) and wrapped it back up and tryed to hand it to me. When I asked to have it remade she gave me attitude. All while there was 2 corporate people in there. Will never go back! read more

Tried to get in the parking lot Saturday morning but this place was hopping. Ended up trying on a Sunday afternoon. Got charged wrong, order was wrong but they made it correct. Didn't say anything about the OVER charge. Food was good but the place could use a good cleaning. Employees need to focus more on their job rather than trying to say hey to there friends out in the parking lot. read more

They have an A+ on friendliness and will remake food for you without complaining. When I ate there it was a very dirty place and customer service was not good. The food was made very sloppy like there was a rush when there was only one person ordering thru drive thru. Hopeful next time it'll be cleaner and faster/neater on the food. read more

This morning my wife and I decided to get up and go get breakfast at Hardees. We drove by Chick-fil-a, McDonald's, Waffle House, IHOP, and Huddle House. Hardened has the best breakfast in my town in my opinion. The local store, on 113 N. Broad Street, was doing a brisk business, with a line around the building for the drive through, and.about 30 customers in the store itself. Mostly senior citizens. We waited in line and were warmly greeted by Kayla, who helped us with our order. She gave me my coffee cup and I went to the drink bar to get my coffee. The elderly lady in front of me also wanted coffee, and there was no cream, no coffee, and no tea on the bar. I asked an employee (I do not know her name because she was not wearing a name tag and had a jacket over her uniform, but I have included a picture of her) if she would get cream for us. The employee reluctantly walked to the wet bar and stared at the empty cream container, then took it to the counter to fill. The elderly Lady asked the same employee if the employee would fill her coffee cup. I was expecting the employee to take the cup, smile, and say,'Yes Maam', and fill the coffee from the container at the drive through window. Instead, the employee became to smart off to the elderly lady. I was shocked to hear this employee being so rude and I spoke up and informed the employee that She had no right to speak so disrespectfully to the lady. The employee then started being rude to me. I asked for a manager. The employee turned and pointed to to a lady with short grey hair and a young lady with long hair. The younger manager (Ashley) approached us and as I began to explain the situation, the employee began to talk over myself and the elderly customer, in front of the manager, being extremely rude. I looked at the manager, and asked,'Seriously, we are paying customers, can't you make your employee stop being so rude?" The manager apologized, and said,"In sorry, there's nothing I can do to stop her. I asked to speak to her Manager, thinking at some point in th e chain of command there should be someone of authority that could get the employee to stop bring verbally abusive to customers. Ashley informed me the manager wasnt present. I asked she call the manager. She did and I spoke to Kim. Kim promised she would review tbe video, of course I doubt the video has audio with it so i doubt this will be adressed correctly. All i can say is that the food is really great, so i gave 3 stars, but verbal abuse of a customer, especially an elderly lady, must be acceptable practice if managers cant control thier employees. Think twice about coming here if you want to be treated with respect. read more

Stopped for lunch at about 12:45p.m. Long way from home and needed a bite to eat. I was second in line to order but it seemed to me that the staff was more interested in the drive through window than us in the restaurant line. After five minutes with no staff even looking at the line wanting to order I walked out. No more Hardee's for me. read more

I had ordered 3 thick burgers, even looked at the menu and doubled checked that I was saying the name and number right, and they still gave me the wrong stuff. When I got home, I noticed they gave us three mushroom Swiss burgers, we were not happy. Any other time I've been there the employees were rude and had a bad attitude except for a select few they need to make sure they get the orders right for one, and for two they need to learn how to be a decent human being to other people instead of rude. They also are in serious need of hairnets or something because I've found long hair in my burgers three times. read more

Sat at drive thru for 20 minutes. 15 of those minutes were AFTER I paid, so I was feeling like it was too late now! While sitting and waiting, no one came to the window to explain or apologize for the delay. I could see the manager working and he knew I was sitting there waiting along with 7 cars behind me...while parked at the window, 4 cars left the line. 4. They hadn't paid like I did but they had already placed their orders. I still don't know what took so long but after making it home, I realized they forgot the combo fries for one of the orders. Ridiculous. I feel bad for the girl at the window bc she kept leaving to handle the counter and she seemed like she was trying to take control of everything the best that she could and yet the night manager seemed to not be as hands on or even caring about the slow service. Btw, since i had plenty of time to watch inside, there weren't any lines inside. Drive thru was a mess. And I could tell the kitchen was the main problem but there were no reasons offered to us. I went to Hardee's today, after a very tiring work day. To my surprise, my card was declined! I was so embarrassed and super hungry but the cashier (Penny) was very patient while I called my bank. It took longer than expected to reach a resolution and Penny was kind enough to give me the food and pay for it herself. Considering I always pay it forward when I go to Starbucks or McDonald's, I would have seen this as a good deed and a gift in return for my previous good deeds. But, I wasn't content until I repaid her. So after resolving my situation with my bank, I went to the atm to take out funds (just to make sure it wouldn't decline again) and I paid Penny a visit again. I purchased a yummy strawberry milkshake and donated money for the charity donation fund at Hardee's for Heroes in the Military! I even called corporate Hardee's and applaud her on such wonderful customer service experience. Definitely a great place in town with caring people! read more

Today my husband and I were looking for a place to eat lunch as we drove through Winder, GA. We were attracted by Hardee's ad for the "Big Bag", which contains a drink, double cheeseburger, chili hot dog, fries, and a fried apple pie. The price, counting tax, was under $6.00 and was plenty for the two of us. It was also very tasty. The entie staff was friendly, courteous, and competent. The entire restaurant was spotless, including the restroom, and the lady who took our order brought it to us, along with an extra plate and extra catsup without our asking her. We were so well treated that I spoke to the manager about how nice an experience it was. I usually never brag on any "fast food" restaurant or speak to the manager even in expensive restaurants, but I felt the experience was worth bragging about. We would definitely recommend the Hardee's for their quality of food, their variety of food items, and their personnel. Bravo!! read more
