Lunch is usually when I stop in and it does get very busy so expect to wait a few minutes. There's also only two to three people I ever see working so be a little considerate as well. The staff is always courteous and try to be as quick as possible bringing the food out. I've never had a problem with my orders and my food is always hot. The place is clean, though I can't speak for the restrooms. read more

1 star is one star too many for this location in Winder, GA. ! Not aware of how horrible the food was packed and how bad it tasted until getting home with it. 1) ord'd 2 FootLong Chilli coney dogs (They were flattened and mashed to the box) 2) Tator tots were stone cold, greasy, and unidentifiable! 3) Ched/R/R peppers undercooked and cold The food was horrible and belonged in the trash. Anyone with good morals would never have sold this slop to a paying customer! Not aware of the food condition until getting back home with it. The only thing worse than the food is that we paid $26 for this pig slop. Please close up your shop along with others that have already closed! read more

When I pulled in the parking lot, there was one truck in the drive-thru already at the window. The rest of the parking lot was empty. I pulled into a slot, pushed the red button, and waited for over 10 minutes. When I got tired of waiting there, I went to the drive-thru. There were 2 cars in line. When I got the microphone, I was told there would be a delay because they were "behind." Behind what? When I arrived there was one car that had ordered and no one else in sight! How did you get "behind" when there was no one else eating? This is not the first time I've received slow or non-existent service here. It's a shame because I love their food. read more

I have been twice in a past two weeks and there is a guy that's taking the orders and he absolutely does not listen. You ask for a large milkshake and the screen will immediately say medium, ask for a Route 44 limeade and screen will say large. Ordered a popcorn chicken and asked for honey mustard and below it says "no sauce". After getting everything corrected the food comes out and it's a medium milkshake and a large limeade instead of what we ordered, no honey mustard for popcorn chicken and they tried to double charge me for my order prior to me showing the receipt. No napkins. When it was all said and done the food was good but I'm not sure I'll be back. read more

Food quality Service (orders are wrong and take up to 30 min to get your order) They have a bunch of friends hanging out there. Workers are hanging out with them instead of working. Plus the place has trash all over the parking areas and many order-boards are broken. read more

Horrible service, sitting in drive through for 45 minutes for one drink. People were smoking outside and cussing while taking trash out with customers sitting in drive through with kids looking out the window. This should be improved because there were only 4 cars in the parking lot and very rude workers. read more

There is a problem I have with Sonic Drive-In . Why is it that they seem to think the employees need tips. When he or she gets hired do they not get a paycheck. Or is this because they bring the food out to the customer. That is their job. When I got my first job as a teenager I never got a tip read more

Always do the on app orders to get the all day happy hour. Slushies always come out great. Service can be pretty bad sometimes. We've waited anywhere between 15-1:30 for slushies/food read more

My husband went through the Drive-through yesterday my husband was told they are not taking any orders this makes the second time. Has this happened to anyone else read more

Update: months later we decided to give them a try for lunch today. The food was okay, warm and what we ordered. But we got 2 large blue powerades and one of them was significantly lighter than the other. We noticed this when we got home (we live around the corner) and my husband tasted it and said it tasted like water. My husband took the drink with the receipt back up to sonic to ask for a replacement that wasn't watered down and his experience was completely ridiculous. He parked in a spot and pressed the button and let them know he had just been there and his drink wasn't right and he needed a replacement. He waited 10 minutes and nobody came out so he stopped a carhop girl and told her the same thing and showed her the drink and she replied that it was a blue Powerade and he told her she could try it if she wanted but it's not blue Powerade. She then literally just walked away from my husband and he stood there and watched her bring food out to 4 other cars until he finally assumed he must have been brushed off and he left the drink on the sidewalk and came home. My husband feels this was related to his race and that if I went to get the replacement (I am white. He's black) that I would have had no issue. I hate to think this is accurate but I have never heard of any restaurant not being willing to fix a drink that is incorrect. And the way this girl walked away from him and said nothing and then helped multiple other people while glancing over at him periodically was ridiculous. We will never spend money at this location again. The disrespect my husband encountered over a simple drink replacement was something unforgivable and no one in our family will go here again because of it. read more

good service good food and super nice busy but it's worth it to eat at when you need something on the go

Don't bother wasting your time and money go to cookout or DQ. Food is mid and you'll never get toppings in your shakes

Took 25 to go through the drive through for 2 sandwiches and tots. This is ridiculous get it together. Don't recommend

Sat in the drive thru for 30 mins with tons of cars behind us and no answer, it was 10 o'clock and they close at 12. Pulled up to the window and the girl poked her head out and we asked if they were closed and she said no and we said there are a ton of people in the drive thru and she said yea. read more

after being in the drive through for 40mins , I didn't get all of my food ! so I had to go back !!! then i ordered 2 cokes and they gave me 2 unsweet teas , and my food was soo cold !!! there normally so good but tonight could have been better read more

You know it's great that Sonic hires physically challenged people but I question the wisdom of putting people who are hearing impaired in the position of taking orders through the speakers. At least that's what must be happening since the last few times we've stopped here it's been an exercise in repeating the order over and over and over and over......... read more

The burgers were definitely over cooked and had a burnt taste. Check your food before you leave!

Von was amazingly nice and welcoming Today when we visited the drive through!! The owners should really work on improving their Commerce location, that place has terrible customer service and very slow. The Winder location was very clean and looked very nice. Thanks Von have a Great day. read more

So I wanted to give less than a one star review. Went there today with my daughter and ordered drinks. Simply put only wanted one unsweet tea and a couple of diet Cokes. Got the unsweet tea and the diet Cokes, and tasted them before I pulled off due to past experiences. Unsweet tea was perfectly fine. Diet Cokes were almost translucent meaning no diet Coke mix and almost all soda water. And I mean the colors were lighter than my unsweet tea. I asked the young lady at the drive-through to change them out and check the tanks. She was very rude and stated that's how our diet Cokes look. I told her no this is not how high coat should taste. Please check your tanks and I would like a new one. She got snotty and said, would I like anything else and I said no let me speak to the manager. Spoke to the young lady who was supposedly the manager who was much better mannered but also said this is how their diet Cokes are. So, simple thing to consider is if you want a Diet Coke that does not taste like bland soda, please do not go here. Horrible service, and the young girl that was rude in the Apalachee high school letter jacket who had no clue of customer service should be fired. Again, if I could've given it less stars I would have. read more

They gave me chili cheese tots instead of just cheese tots, forgot my ranch, and shorted me 1 french toast stick????? wth???? who does that????? would give less than 1 star if it would let me. read more

For fast friendly service, all from the front seat of your vehicle can't be better. I don't like the idea of drive through along with curb service. Pretty decent fast food and servers. read more

The mozzarella sticks from here are my favorite!! The only thing when I go most of the time they are lukewarm. The pretzel twist is also amazing! only had it once though! Slush-so good! Raspberry is my favorite! Employees are always courteous at this location! read more

Is there a way to give 0 Stars? First, while the speakers work, none of the displays or credit card readers work; despite trying to be "efficient" or "fast," you can't be because the owners/managers of this particular franchise don't keep up the technology in the parking spots for each car. Further... I ordered a #10 (chicken sandwich, fries and coke) large sized with a large "Master Shakes" Peanut Butter Fudge shake for dessert. It was delivered to my car, and when I came home, I realized the styrofoam container had no logo, printing, etc. on them. As I was carrying them into the house, they both collapsed, split open and exploded coke and shake all across my floors. WTF? Has Sonic gotten so cheap they can't even afford printed cups that have any sort of structural integrity to them? I am severely disappointed and won't be going back. read more

This Sonic is like no other Sonic. The special for the day was one dollar chili cheese Coney dogs. My son wanted no chilli or cheese and they want to charge me full price for a hotdog. It makes no sense. This is not the first time something ridiculous like this has happened at this location. I highly recommend not eating here. This is an update to this Sonic. Today I was charged $.60 for my child's wacky pack meal for cheese. Then they charge me $.35 for each drink for lemon. This location is about to get a cookout next door to it. They need to watch out. Cookout will put them out of business! read more

Service was great! I ordered a small popcorn chicken and a mini caramel brownie blast. The food was good and the blast was delicious. Only reason it gets 4 stars is because if the tiny amount of whipped cream on my blast. read more

They always get the order correct but it takes forever. In their defense- it tends to be super crowded when we go.

I love sonic's food! But every time I go, they do not get my order correct. I always have to ask for marinara for my mozzarella sticks and most of the time I dont get it (or any other sauces that I ask for). I hate having to ask for them to correct my order and never really do but it is frustrating that it is a recurring event. read more
