If I could give this place a negative review I would, Hardee's has been one of my favorite restaurants for years and the last couple times that I have gone to the one in the Willmar area. It has been terrible. I went there today to just get a chicken sandwich and some curly fries And I opened up the bag and the curly fries were ice cold like they had been sitting on the counter for a half an hour, and the chicken sandwich I had was burnt and cold. It had no lettuce on it. I took one bite and threw it away, and I also threw the fries away, and if I didn't have to be someplace, I would've turned around and taken them back to the drive-through. I stood there for 10 minutes trying to get waited on. No one even acknowledged my existence let alone spoke to me. All 3 employees, that I saw, made eye contact but never said a word. I realize people are short staffed but this location is the worst! I wonder how they stay open. I walked out after 10 minutes when the guy in charge started in on the kid making food about changing out the grease. The kid was making food at the time. There was one customer eating in the dining room and 2 in drive thru at 5pm on a Saturday night. Not during a rush. I have been here a few different times in the last 4 weeks as I'm in town for work I have had a bad experience more then not cold food no gravy for platter burnt biscuits and today I ordered they pulled me forward and brought out my food and then said we don't have syrup for your French toast stcks I siad would have been nice to have been told when I ordered and she said ya it would have been nice never said anything else and walked away I will not be going back again I have wasted alot of money at this place read more

After sitting in drive thru for 15 minutes waiting for a sausage biscuit I was told they were waiting for biscuits to be ready. So I go inside and then after telling them three times no eggs because of egg allergies they thought it was funny to put eggs on anyway. They all got a big laugh and all that time waiting for fresh biscuits the bread was cold and hard. So I go back this morning thinking it may be a different group working and it's the same Hispanic girl and the same 400 pound girl preparing the food and again seeing it was me decided to drag anchor again she even cracked a joke about it as they recognized it was me. I can see why these girls work in fast food . Their behavior wouldn't be tolerated by other places. Little intimidated to eat here based on the low ratings but decided to anyways because who doesn't love a good hot ham and cheese. Restaurant wasn't as busy as I expected it to be only being a little before 7 pm. No one was eating in and only a few cars cycled through the drive thru. Staff was friendly- shift leader more so (who had taken our order). Didn't have any interactions with other staff working other than the ones who had just gotten off and hung out in the dining area. Can't say I enjoyed hearing the staff yell back and forth to each other from table to behind the counter but I was already almost finished eating. A little confused as to why half the restaurant was already blocked off before 7 pm and not allowing people to eat on the right side- but I guess as I stated no one was really there so I figured it was their way of preparing for closing. A little too early though in my opinion especially when the restaurant isn't that big to begin with. Food was good. Hot. And order was correct. So no complaints there. Went through drive-up ordered 2 big hot and cheese's and a 1/3 lb hamburger no cheese extra onions and pickles. It took almost 20 minutes. The ham and cheese's were ok but the burger must have been a mushroom burger to start with they scraped some of the mushrooms off had cheese on it. The burger also was cold very little onions or pickles. unfortunately I drove home first before eating my wife was very upset with the burger. It was the 6 pm hour nobody inside eating and no one else at drive up. Dirty for one, bugs all over the floor. Floor was sticky. High chairs were filthy with dirt. Bathrooms didn't have a changing table. Employees were dirty. Everything told me to walk out but my kids insisted because they wanted a Ryan toy. Now all of them are sick. read more
