The nice thing about going on vacation is being able to partake in chains that aren't available where you live. Hardee's is one such chain that there are very few of in my area. I thought I would give it a go for a meal one night and see how disappointed I would get. I decided to go through the drive thru for this venture. I placed my order and was on my way back to the room. I went with a mix of food because I couldn't decide on exactly what I wanted. I had the chili cheese dog combo and ordered mashed potatoes as well. Why not, mix it all up. This meal wasn't anything to write home about. It was kind of bland and not filling at all. There was a bit of spice to the chili dog, but everything else was just missing flavor. What irked me the most is that I ordered the mashed potatoes but they didn't give me anything to eat them with. How do you not give utensils when you just gave me a bowl of mashed potatoes? Being that the ordered was done via drive thru, there was nothing I could do about it. I just had to figure out how to eat these. I used the French fries to scoop the potatoes out. Not the easiest thing to do, nor the healthiest. But it was what I had to do, the other option was to throw them out. read more

Hardee's in Lightfoot just outside Williamsburg city limits. Ordered at drive-thru 10-pc chicken with biscuits as dining-in closed at 5. Had to wait for chicken, it was brought to our car. Server said they had run out of "biscuits" what!!! so in place of biscuits, extra chicken was added! Once home we counted pieces, we only got 10 pieces. What was that? who told the individual bringing to our car extra chicken was added? Any way, how can around 7pm on a summer day could such a diner that has biscuits with lots of items RUN OUT!!! Oh well, being locals we loved the service before which is what brought us back BUT now it's off our list! Maybe you will have better service? read more

We are on vacation and went to this location excited to have Hardee's because we don't have them where we live. We pulled up to the drive thru and waited. No one greeted us. We waited longer. No one greeted us. Finally my husband said "hello." No one said anything. He said "hello" again and was about to just leave and go inside when someone finally asked what we wanted. He started his order and turned to ask me what I wanted and all of the sudden a woman came over the speaker and said "he's out there hollering "hello" and doesn't even know what he wants." It's common courtesy to greet a customer and tell them you will be right with them or say something, anything when they get to a drive thru. He wasn't yelling. I'd give it a 0 if I could, they NEED to clean the trash up outside and hire more staff, we stopped in around 11:15-11:20 am, maybe two tables and about 4 people in line. They had one woman working the register, she would take the order and then begin filling other orders. We ordered , sat down and waited for 12 minutes to get our eat in order. Ladies bathroom needed cleaned badly. Won't be eating there again. read more

Had a longer than expected break while working in the area, so I dropped by this Hardee's for a 4pm dinner. Took a long time for the counter person to take my order. She was confused by a request from the customer in front of me, and it took an usually long time and lots of effort from others to solve the situation. Once she got to me she took the order without any pleasantries. She simply took the money and plopped down the drink cup without asking me to have a seat and the order would be brought to me, etc. The food was right off the grill HOT. Cmon guys fry the tots!! Every time I come here the tots are a tick passed unfrozen and soggy as hell. Breakfast is the only decent meal to get from Hardees and now that is becoming very hit or miss. ZERO STARS. This place is a joke. If you live around here do not go here. First of all, it says dine in ends at 10:00pm. The time was 9:25pm and the doors were locked. They told us to walk around to the other door. When we walked to the other side of the building they would not open the door and said go through the drive through because dine in is closed. WHICH IT ISNT. The manager told them to unlock the door (finally) while they were all socializing together. Not doing anything at all. And the woman worker got aggressive towards me as if she was going to come after me when I acted bothered that they locked the doors way earlier than said. Their workers are trash. We just came here and used drive thru...props to the one lady working! Two other workers were standing next to the door ..smoking... cars started in drive thru and they stood there continuing to smoke..she had us pull up and wait ...which was fine ...she said something to them and they just ignored her and continued to smoke...could see her in working drive thru and front counter ... as far as food missed an item but was only a cookie .. no biggie..but cold and fries were only halfway full ...if I wanted to get the mini fries I wouldn't have paid extra for the next size up. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Mid-Sunday afternoon and a mostly empty restaurant. I step up to the register. The employee did not acknowledge me at first, then said"so, you going to order?". I order a bacon cheeseburger combo. I asked for my receipt and she said she couldn't find it. Food was received 32 minutes later without apology. Fries were hot, burger was barely warm and missing tomato. Forget asking for another - there are now about 10 families waiting for food and another 2-3 cars waiting in drive through. The dining area was not especially clean either. Every employee looks miserable. So do the customers. Avoid. Avoid this place and tell other people you like to avoid it. read more

This was my first time in a Hardee's. They were burgers, OK no problem. My real problem stemmed from the fact that everyone that worked there looked like they hated life and their jobs and were just waiting for me to leave the counter so they could go in the bathroom and slit their wrists. :P It was depressing just eating there. read more

This was the first time and last time at Hardees for me. when I walked in it smelled like a stale greasy pit. Right now if I really could give it a 0 I would be doing that, and I waited for 12 minutes and then left without my food but I did pay. plus also I left hungry and wondering what diseases I might have got if I were to stay and eat my food because the mop bucket was beside where they were cooking, and the floors had not been mopped in years. The first time I ate here was of course drive thru and it took forever so I gave the drive thru a second try because I figured they must've had a off day and the wait was even longer.. for a place that wasn't busy at all to sit there and wait so long in the drive thru is completely unacceptable.. hire more people if you must but there is absolutely no reason to wait for at least 15mins+ in the drive thru especially when your the only car there and literally no other customers inside, if someone would've said excuse me sir it's going to take a while or a sorry for the wait then ok 2 stars for at least communicating the issue with me but they couldn't even do that read more

I have never written a review before, but this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.If I can write them without giving them any stars I would. We waited in the drive-through 10+ minutes for our food. I noticed people from the street that was friends with employees walk up to the drive-through in front of my car window reaching over and grabbing cups of soda and food. The oven door was also left open with flies going in and out! I asked for a manager to give me my money back. The manager had no customer service and no apology was given. The worst Hardee's I have ever been too. When you go up to the drive through and all you get is "what you want?" you know it is going to be bad. The menu was not turned for breakfast so the person in the drive through suggests that you take a guess at what you want instead of walking out flipping the sign is the second issue. I tried to explain that I am unfamiliar with the breakfast menu but the reply I received was, "Well what you goin' to do?" So I drove out of there and went to the McDonalds across the street.
