Worst service! Very slow! Managers was complaining about counting the cash, too many nickels in the drawer, or worried about who was in the parking lot and not about the customer waiting 10 minutes instead of helping people. We've been here a couple of times lately. I always feel like we're bothering the employees when we pull up to the drive thru. I usually try to joke around and win them over because I just can't help myself. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I understand that it's probably not a fun job and it's also tiring work so that doesn't bother me very much. If I could give - stars I would. The "manager" was extremely rude by first refusing service to me after waiting 15 minutes in line. I was waiting at the menu board talking to my husband asking if we should go elsewhere when the speaker turned on with the manager telling me that she doesn't want to serve "someone like me" & I could leave. I proceeded to ask for her name & the corporate number (which was refused to me). She then asked me what I would like to order, which I explained that I will NEVER go to a Hardee's or purchase food from a Hardee's. Let me just first preface this with my expectations of cheat weekends. My husband & I work hard at regulating our eating habits. Every two weeks we give in & do a cheat weekend. I want to make that calories that I eat are worth it. I like fast food, but don't love it - I just have a soft spot for Hardee's. I rarely see a Hardee's in Orlando - there is one on Silver Star Rd in Orlando & that is amazing -totally worth the junk/fast food craving - so we were in the neighborhood in Groveland - so what the heck. I should know better. I should listen to Yelp against my better judgement. This was meh. Years ago, there was a Hardee's off of Dean Rd in Orlando- it was located in a gas station & I have fond memories of their food when I was in college. I keep trying to search for that place of happiness after an all night drinking session in my 20s when I drove out hung over yearning for a delicious breakfast sandwich or get a thick burger smothered in mushrooms & swiss. Thank god for the location on Silver Star in Orlando, it will suffice for my sentimental cravings. This one in Groveland - it was a place where flavorless food is a thing. It sustains me until the next place to eat. Their servers are interesting. When I asked for a frisco burger, he had to look behind him to confirm that it existed on the menu. Also, a frisco burger is supposed to be a toasted delicious buttery burger thing - kind of like a cross between a toasted buttery texas toast grilled cheese with a thick burger in between. Nope! It was a dry burger between what looked like toasted bread but was stale, yet at the same time soggy. It's like it was once cooked perfect but grew damp under a heat lamp. They treat their employees terribly and do not provide them with proper PPE in order to clean disgusting restroom messes, threatened to fire an employee because he didn't want to clean the poop mess that was in the restroom from the shift from the night before. He was forced to clean it and tied trash bags around his legs and arms to protect himself because they didn't know the proper procedures to protect from diseases transmitted through feces. Without the correct materials needed to clean even though he never should've been cleaning it! He was later fired! For causing DRAMA! THERE SHOULD BE DRAMA, WHAT THEY DID WAS WRONG! If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered 2 breakfast meals with coffees. They asked how much creamers and sugars I needed and responded that I would like 7 creamers and 7 sugars for one coffee and 7 creamers, 3 splendas and 2 sugars for the other. When I got my food, they had 3 creamers in the bag with 3 packets of sugar for both coffees. I told the lady at the window and she rolled her eyes, walked away and came back with the container that holds the creamers. She said "here" as she put the basket near me. Mind you, there were only a few left in it to begin with. She had the biggest attitude for nothing ... I am always courteous to F&B employees because I know how hard they work. There's not a Hardee's near me but I was in the area so I thought I'd give them a try. The girl that took my order was really bored, she yawned a few times while taking my order... I thought it was a nice touch that they brought your food to you if you were eating in. I like charbroiled burgers & this one was good. The fries were cold :-( I saw they also have Mexican food & I also ordered a taco. It was pretty good, similar to Taco Bell. I got a mocha shake to go... IT WAS EXCELLENT! read more

This places smells like diarrhea. There was a huge mud pie smeared on the walls. On top of that they had a young cashier cleaning up this vile mess. Terrible customer service!!!! The workers are unfamiliar with the specials and give out the wrong information for what is available. I was told my lunch bag includes spicy tenders, a burger, fries and a drink. When I received my bag it included a spicy chicken sandwich, double cheeseburger, fries and a drink. When I brought it to the cashiers attention. Her response was "oh yea, it comes with the chicken sandwich instead of the tenders." My friend ordered an apple pie, we checked the bag and it wasn't in there. We alerted the cashier and she immediately apologized and placed an apple pie in his bag.After getting into the car we noticed the apple pie was already bitten into!!!!!! The taste of the food was horrible and you could tell that it wasn't fresh, mostly because several of the items we ordered were stale. read more

This place is by far the worse fast food establishment I've ever seen in America. The general manager is new and all he does is sit on his fat ass and eat food, talk on the phone, and boss the workers around as if he's there master. The food is overly priced and the only thing good is the breakfast. When the district manager comes all the workers get it together all of a sudden because he is there, other then that the district manager has no clue all the problems going on there. Hardee's is a fast food joint you don't see too often but actually has pretty good food (for fast food). We recently discovered their hand-breaded chicken tenders which are really good! They are restaurant quality and are breaded and fried while you wait. The honey mustard sauce is the right mix of sweet and tangy. They have a very good breakfast too, with a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit that is hard to beat! I'm also a fan of their cinnamon biscuits at breakfast time. They are raisin biscuits drenched with icing. Yum! When we travel from Orlando to the coast we look forward to stopping in for some Hardee's breakfast. read more

Went this evening to Hardee's in Groveland and ordered a hot ham and cheese combo and my husband got the chicken strip combo. We waited 30 mins for our food. We were 2 of 6 people in the place. One couple that ordered 10 mins after us got their food before us. About 10 cars went thru the drive thru while we waited as well. I paid $6.99 for a hot ham and cheese that was the size of a kids meal sandwich. While we were there 3 different people came up to the counter to complain. 1 was the same complain as mine for paying for a combo and getting a kids size sandwich. And one lady had uncooked rice in her chicken burrito. The staff had no clue how to reimburse a credit card. One staff member told us how he never finished the training course and management just passed him because they needed help. He told us management would be no help on complaints as well. It was hot in the restaurant. No air flowing at all. The staff was kind but I feel like they were very under trained. read more

Food is great, service is terrible! Staff are friendly, however the term "fast food" is an unknown concept here. Like most fast food establishments these days, wait times in the drive thru are just to damn long. This facility is no exception. Average wait time from your initial order to driving away with your food is between 10 to 20 minutes, and not during peak hours. In most cases once you order you are told to pull up and wait, and wait, and wait and they'll bring it out. One time on one of the 20 minute waits for a burger, fries and a soft drink, I asked the employee why it took so long ( I was the only vehicle on the drive thru line) She said, "Oh, I'm so sorry, we're really busy in here" I noticed there were only 2 cars in the parking lot, so I pulled over and took a peek inside. There were a total of 3 people in the dining area eating their food already and no one on line. Yep, busy! I guess I don't have to eat there, but this same issue exists everywhere.
