Worst burger I've had in my life. The bun looked and tasked stale and the burger patty tasted like it had not been seasoned at all. Curly fries weren't too bad. Service was pretty good! Employee was very nice and the food came out quick. (This was probably the only positive thing of the experience) The restaurant itself wasn't great. Our shoes were sticking to the floor and it seemed like it hadn't been mopped in a while. Bathrooms smelled awful so I wouldn't recommend you use it unless of an emergency. read more

We were just here and I ordered a water with my ham sandwich at the drive thru. I was charged $2.69 for my water! I have never been charged for a glass of water! We asked about it and the lady said they have to charge a water as a drink. That's crazy. I won't be ordering a glass of water here anymore. If I ever go here again. At first thought the store was closed, but after looking closer inside I noticed the lights were on. Store needs a neon open sign in the window. Got the grilled chicken sandwich. It tasted great. Ate it while driving and it dripped onto my shirt. Thank God for dry cleaning. Should have asked for the sandwich with no sauce. 07.07.23 Gas City In Location - Breakfast. General review to start with of Hardee's as a whole -- If you make an app then make it so the coupons that you send out can be used on it. It eliminates the convenience for the customer and increases the traffic in your parking lots if customers have to go and sit at the drive-through or go in and order their food to use a coupon. Store - 1. Parking lot was acceptable - No trash lying around - not many customers to speak of. Employees apparently are allowed to park directly across from the entrance which takes up customer parking IF the store would ever get busy. 2. Outside of the building was adequate - appears to be we maintained. Staff - 1. The employee that was at the drive through should be fired immediately. If she treats most customers the way she did us it explains a lot as to why the place doesn't do a lot of business. Food - 1. Biscuits over baked - dry and crumbling. 2. Sausage gravy - not cooked through enough - still tasted powdery. 3. Chicken biscuits. Over cooked or microwaved chicken which made it stringy and chewy. See #1 for quality of biscuit. 4. Pork Chop Biscuit - Flavor wise it was good. It was soggy - they put gravy on the one side so obviously you expect that side to lose its crispness but the other should have some crispy parts. At least it was decently cooked so it wasn't dried out. See #1 for quality of biscuit. 5. Hash rounds - greasy and somehow mushy. No salt was applied after they came out of the fryer. 6. Hard to screw up a flat egg but somehow it was overcooked. Interaction - Of course we had to go to the store to place the order instead of doing a mobile order because of being unable to use coupons in the app. When placing the order we ordered the Hardee's breakfast platter which in the app offers the choice of "Bacon, Sausage, Country Ham, Country Steak, Chicken Fillet, Pork Chop, Smoked Sausage". There is an increase in price of the meal according to what is ordered as the side -- Bacon or Sausage $5.09, Country Steak $5.49, and Chicken Fillet $5.99. The app itself will l however only allow you to order Bacon, Sausage, Country Steak, or Chicken Fillet which is what should happen IF the rest isn't available at that time. We ordered the Chicken Fillet. We were immediately informed med that "we don't do that here". We replied that yes in fact you do because we just ordered it that way less than a week ago. "The only reason that you got it that way was because it was a mobile order and I was being nice". From a previous HORRIBLE dinner from the same store we know it is a MAJOR ISSUE to get a refund for crap service or missing food. The store argues that they don't get the money so they refuse to refund or alter the order if it is place online or in the app. So in essence this employee just told us that the store would steal a customers money if you place the order online and they didn't "feel like" doing the order as it was placed. How many times does this store (and maybe others) steal from customers and it isn't called out??? read more

Hardee's - Fast Food Near Me - Gas City, Indiana

Turn back now! This Hardee's is Ga-ross. So the fam and I are traveling from Indy to Michigan for the Labor Day weekend and decided to drop off this exit for food. We wanted Cracker Barrel but they were way busy. When we got there I had to use the restroom and it was filthy. There was liquid, that I hope was water, all over the floor. I was going to tell the crew that we needed to go somewhere else but hubby had already ordered and paid for the food. The food wasn't bad. It came out quickly and it was hot. The dining room was fairly clean. I didn't get food poisoning so that's a plus. I just wouldn't drop here again. read more

Tried to get ranch chicken wraps twice in two weeks. The first time they had both ranch and some kind of mustard which I did not like. This time they had a melted nasty cheese on them and they had absolutely no sauce. Both times we waited 15-20 minutes in the drive thru after being asked to pull foward to "wait on chicken". Then the chicken was warm but not hot and both times I was unable to eat them. We will not be giving this another try after these experiences. This location needs to hire better employees for a better experience. read more

Got a Mushroom and Swiss burger, fries and a Coke. The Mushroom and Swiss was ok, it was warm, not hot. The fries were not hot at all and had cold spots in them. The only thing at the right temperature was the Coca-Cola. Doubt I will be going back to this Hardee's. read more

No root beer but when we ask if they would change it. You would have thought we broke an arm. They were out at that point. But mind you not one thing saying that. Was a new building seemed clean. Open on Christmas Day and still offered exceptional service. I normally don't review fast food restaurant, and its been ages since I've ate at an Hardee's, but we were traveling back home on Christmas Day and this was one of the only places open to grab some dinner. The wait was a bit long, but we are talking a holiday and A LOT of people in the drive-thru line since it was the only place to go. I'm not necessarily encouraging businesses to be open on this day but my review is to compliment the friendly staff and good customer service offered despite working a holiday! ACTUALLY LET ME BACK TRACK...MY CO WORKER BROUGHT ME CRUNCHY TACO AND TOLD ME TO TRY IT AND HOLY MOLY WAS IT FAMTASTIC!!! Sorry for the all caps but it was good!!! We don't have these where I am from in south Florida so it's always a treat to eat here. Very clean and surprisingly their tacos off their menu are delicious. First of all, two guys "bathing" and brushing their teeth in the restroom. Loaded omelette biscuit was more like an egg biscuit with two cubes of ham and a slice of cheese biscuit. More biscuit and than anything else. Took forever to get it also. Dr Pepper was flat. What appeared to be employees dressed in street clothes walking around behind the counter having their way with everything and talking to customers about getting arrested, etc. read more

Hardee's has an interesting plethora of food and we enjoyed sampling a few on this trip. The wife loves their biscuits and gravy and I like the country fried chicken and tator rounds that comes with your breakfast. completely worthless. all you have to do is follow the order on the screen! easiest job on the planet. $5 chicken finger combo, $5 frisco combo. got a fkn ham & cheese in the bag. no chicken. we waited in the drive through for 8 minutes at the window. i assumed for my chicken fingers. get the bag, get in the highway...i eat my fries, which were not hot, go for my chicken fingers & nope nasty fkn ham & cheese. if i wanted a lunch meat sandwich i would of went to subway. and my husbands frisco was put together sloppily & disnt taste good either. crap, all crap read more
