The waitress was over seconds later, and came back as soon as my friend arrived. The food arrived within just minutes, and was tasty with fresh ingredients. And it's very easy on the pocketbook as well. With all that's on the Esmeralda burger, that would cost $20 at a place downtown. It's $12, with LTO, avocado, cheese, bacon, and jalapeños. And a fried egg on top. With a side of pico. Amazing! It's impossible to be dainty and eat this thing. But wow, is it tasty!!!

Sue hit the nail on the head with this store, although she was far too kind in her star rating…read more Creedmoor has two options for grocery stores - Food Lion and Food Lion. The next option is about 15 miles out of town. I'm a steak and potatoes kind of person and I've been spoiled up in NoVA and New York by places like Wegmans and Martin's (taking after the Wegmans model with its latest stores). I could go to the meat counter and get custom cuts if I wanted them. Then I moved to Creedmoor, NC. Even my last visit to this Food Lion, I went in to find what was on sale in the meat department, specific cuts of steaks. There was very little to be found, and what was there I wasn't willing to buy - thin steaks or extremely poor quality (old) meat. Nobody was willing to pay attention from the meat service dept. What is even more exasperating is the prices - Food Lion further north was known for being a bit on the inexpensive side, but here it seems like the priciest (and only) game around. I'll travel to Raleigh to do my grocery shopping and avoid this place if at all possible. My only visits now are if I'm in a pinch for a specific ingredient.

The selection has always been limited, and I expect that from a small town Food Lion, but I used to at least be able to go here and stock up on staples that don't need to be fancy. Now I'm frustrated to the point where I don't even feel like it's worth my time to do that. I no longer purchase much fresh fruit here, because what's on the floor is moldy or clearly about to go moldy any second. I got burned more than once this year buying strawberries that looked iffy but still ok (because that was all they had), only to get them out of the fridge the next morning to find the container full of mold. I've also had issues with shelved food, such as chocolate bars that I opened to find had clearly completely melted at some point. Today, I ended up leaving again without items on my shopping list, because everything they had out was spoiled. Bunches of cilantro with all the leaves blackened and slimy, moldy and mushy onions, beef that has turned totally gray in the packaging, and no distilled water left on the shelf. It also seems like a lot of the regular employees I had gotten used to seeing are no longer there. To me, it seems like a serious management problem that needs to be addressed ASAP.

Lots of trucks, trade and pickups, family sedans, and a van or two. This is a small place with a cafeteria style setup, plastic trays and utensils, and lines can form during peak times. They serve country cooking meat and 2 plates, sandwiches, and of course, pork barbecue., which is what brought me here. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but the chopped pork was not good at all, it tasted old, stale, almost as if it had been frozen previously. It is pulled pork, not chopped, much like Prissy Polly's in Kernersville. There is a mild, vinegar based sauce on it, but there is also a Lexington stylre sauce available, but it did not help what I was served. It was Thursday, and this means Chicken & Dumplings here, and this dish was excellent. Thet also serve sandwiches, including burgers and a decent hot dog. I'll probably give the pork another shot if opportunity arises, but what I had yesterday was just not good.

Nobody who works here wants to work here. They will sigh in your face when you ask for simple food. Zero drinks are available in the machine at all times. Who wants Mello Yello? I'm not a country bumpkin who's going to dollar general before I kick back and relax at my doublewide. Mello Yello sucks and that's the only thing available. On another note there is no frosty in the machine. That's yo whole personality. How is there no frosty? It takes literally 20 minutes for you to get your order through if you are in a line of 6 people. The attitude I see behind the counter makes me not even want to sit here. On a personal note, I think that the general manger or owner just needs to burn this bitch down and start from scratch. Build a cookout or something here. Wendy's is amazing but the service and attitude of this one has been six feet under for years. If there was an award for being the worst restaurant in the world this one would win. There are no nice reviews on this place. If there was a Super Bowl for shit ass service I would give every person in this place the MVP. I give up on this Wendy's. We proceeded here. Staff was wearing masks, clear markings, wasn't as crowded as where we were, and when he asked, I want to order the one with the most amount of roast beef (he can't eat gluten nor dairy) for the protein. Now Arby's knows how to deliver fast food. Barely had time to take this shot from outside and hubby was already coming out with his order. . . I should've had him order the sweet potato waffle fries as the fries from the other place were bland as can be. Hubby was impressed though I wish he had asked if they had GF bread, that would have been impressive if they did. Since I did NOT check the bathroom out here (hey, I may have a tiny bladder, but not THAT tiny since I didn't drink my drink yet), I cannot state whether cleanliness factor was good . . But the fact that I was kinda wondering how a roast beef sandwich would be, as hadn't had one in ages but recalled I did like Arby's the few times I had them in my life.
