Our order was quickly taken. We ordered 4 regular burgers with all the toppings plus Cajun fries, jalepeno fries and regular fries with a steak burger. All were cooked decently. We will not be back. Stay away. This was our first and last visit to a cookout.

Tonight I had a very unprofessional experience at the Sonic location on Margie Drive…read more My husband and I stopped by as we often do after our weekend car meets. After receiving my smash burger, I noticed it was raw in the center. I became sick and ended up vomiting what I had eaten. My husband went to the store to politely bring the issue to the manager's attention. Unfortunately, the situation escalated due to the behavior of the manager on duty. Instead of addressing the food safety concern, she became confrontational. She attempted to takee burger box from my hands and repeatedly insisted that I give it to her. When I did not immediately hand it over, she called over an officer who was on duty. After the officer spoke with her, he came and sat next to me while she continued to accuse me of lying about the burger. She even accussed me of editing a photo that was taken in front of her and continued to deny the issue. During this time, she refused to provide her name, refused to return my original receipt, and stated only that "AJ" (no last name given) was the general manager. Even after I told the officer that I did not want to make the situation a big deal, the manager came back outside again and continued addressing the situation with more attitude and very poor management conduct. This entire interaction was extremely unprofessional and embarrassing. We have frequented this location almost every weekend after car meets, but after this experience we will not be returning. The officer himself suggested that I report her behavior after witnessing the scene that unfolded. I hope this matter can be reviewed so that situations like this are handled with professionalism and respect in the future

It took three different staff members to get my drink replaced and fixed while the other two employees walked off and said something about how I didn't order it the way I wanted it fixed. The staff especially on the afternoon shift need to understand which something doesn't get made correctly how the customer orders it and wants it the staff member doesn't need to complain about it where everyone in the store can hear them. I did not know this how they were trained to talk about the customers and fix the customers order then blame the customer for making a hard coffee to make trust me its really not. Limited parking around the sides, drive thru ordering, kiosk ordering and inside ordering as well. Would I come back here probably not.

While I was there, I watched an employee bring that order out with no greeting, no eye contact, no communication, and a rude handoff before immediately walking away. This is unacceptable customer service and not how customers should be treated. The employee who brought my order was polite, but the overall experience was inconsistent and poorly handled. I had similar issues at this location back in 2024 as well as every year we visit the area and it's disappointing to see no improvement whatsoever. As a store manager myself, this points to a lack of training, accountability, and management oversight. This location needs immediate attention. I would strongly encourage leadership or corporate to review this location's customer service standards and address these issues.

I tried both the wrap and the chicken tenders. Unfortunately, my fries were cold -- they would have been much better if they were served hot. The chicken tenders were also a little under-seasoned and could have used more flavor. The highlight of my visit was definitely the strawberry cheesecake. It was my favorite item! I loved that it was served in a mason jar, which made the presentation feel unique and stood out from the usual fast-food desserts. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't one that left a lasting impression. A few small improvements in food temperature and seasoning could really elevate the experience.
