They seem to follow the McDonald method of "I don't want to make a milkshake for you," so there's always an "issue" with the machine. If the machine does work, they'll give you the milkshake but make you wait so you can deliver it home by the time you can bring it back. And when you're waiting in line and forget you moved forward, they'll use the excuse "it's being made" without checking after multiple cars behind you got their food.
