The place is a little thin on rock & roll memorabilia, but the beer was cold and the service was good. I forgot to review this hard rock a couple years ago. The staff was extremely prejudiced towards my family. I rarely play the race card but this is the only time I lived in Europe in which I felt the staff didn't particularly like black people. We were the only people of color there at the time & they sat us outside which was not a problem because this hard rock location is beautiful & the immediate area around is vibrant. The problem began when we waited 30 minutes for a waiter to come ask for our drinks. After that we waited another 10 minutes for them to bring the drinks out. I asked the waiter was there a problem or staffing issue which he replied no but also said something in French but I guess he assumed I did not know French because I was African American. What he said in French was "we don't serve your people here". After this comment I didn't ask for management or nothing, I simply left with my family without ordering food. To this day this only hard rock location I been to & wasn't served. I collect hard rock souvenirs at the 20+ locations I been to around the world & nice is the only location I would never collect from. I probably wouldn't even go back to give a try again. I rated the hard rock in Honolulu as my worst hard rock experience but no it was this location! read more

With the exception of my dining companions and our server, the rest of the experience here was painful. We went here after the Ironman because a member of our party was old codger and could not walk far from our hotel. The race was still in progress, which blocked the ability to get other transport. We decided to give Hard Rock a try, remembering the good old days when collecting their shirts was the cool thing to do. We were not anticipating the extent to which things had gone downhill. We ordered nachos to start, which were downright awful. Not one part of them, save the sour cream, had any redeeming quality. I cannot even say, "Well, if you got them without the so-and-so it would be ok." These are a hard no. Another friend got their version of a veggie burger (it's a branded name that I cannot remember). She is vegan and has had her fair share of meat-free burgers. She, after completing an Ironman and starving, could not manage to finish the burger because it was that bad. I ordered a fried southwestern egg roll appetizer as my entree and think I might have made the best choice of the table. As the bar wasn't set high, it was mediocre at best. Onto dessert...We all ordered milkshakes. How hard could that be to screw up? Back in the day the chocolate milkshakes at Hard Rock were actually pretty good. Alas, these were not the milkshakes we remembered from our sinewy youth. Not one of us finished our shakes and we ordered four of them in hopes of getting a winner. It's a sad state of affairs when I can't finish ice cream mixed with booze. Anyone who knows me is probably clutching their pearls at the thought of me casting aside perfectly good alcohol. But all was not lost. I did get to see Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love video for the first time since 1987, so there's that. read more

Stopped by the Hardrock in Nice. My husband had the baby back ribs, daughter had the chicken sandwich and I had the wings. Overall, great atmosphere and the server was on top of it. Good food, good drinks and a nice view of the beach. read more

Great service and good food. The waiters provided an exceptional service. They were very professional regarding gluten allergy and even had a separate gluten menu card. The worst restaurant I have ever been to. The service is slower than you can possibly imagine. We waited one hour for our food, and then another 30 minutes for our check. There was hair in our french fries and the hamburger was raw. We could not eat it. I cannot even begin to explain how awful our experience was. Run far away from this place. read more

Came here because it was open before 7pm (in France) on a Sunday night. S-L-O-W service & then my salad arrived but not as was described on the menu. Instead of bringing the missing ingredient, they took it away and chef made a new one, taking another 20 minutes! Offered us a dessert later for the hassle and it was okay, but I got food poisoning and barely made it back to our hotel in time! read more

The location is great for a cafe because it is on the promenade des anglais. But the location has a size and design problem to be a Hard Rock Cafe. Inside the layout does not permit any good way for performances. They put the bands downstairs facing the bar in back. So of the 30 tables in the entire place 2 could see. No camera or screens so it becomes a bunch of noise. Worse the front door is always flapping open and people are walking to the store to buy shirts. Ok now imagine this is Nice and tour bus pulls up and 70 kids pile in walking in front of the performance. Puhhhh I felt bad for the talent and those that want to come to the venue. Not sure what they can do other than clear out the upstairs for performances. The venue is no good for the types of Hard Rock Cafés that sell tickets and have great shows. I have been a few Hard Rock Cafes and this one suited the area nicely. Downstairs was busy with families, leaving upstairs for the football supporters. To begin with they were only showing the football, but after talking with the manager i convinced him to turn on the sound (capturing the actual atmosphere!). We had the Local Legendary burger and a standard Hard Rock style burger. Both were delicious. It is pricey, but a real nice treat from time to time. I managed to get a couple of cocktails during happy hour which lessened the blow! The long Island Iced Tea was great and the southern ? (can't remember the name!) was good too. read more

Had a very pleasant experience ! A very warm welcome by the staff at the entrance that directed me to the bar ! The bartenders seemed to be busy but straight away I was offered multiple choices of cocktails! Ended up having a Margarita ! Great choice I must say ! Followed by a legendary burger . The food was nice !!!! Been in some places to eat a burger but this is definitely a must !!!! Try also their guacamole !!!! Overall a very satisfying evening ! As always, Hard Rock Café gives you a nice evening, and I finally got the kids to enjoy the music here as well ;).

Literally the worst Hard Rock I've ever been to. The interior decor didn't even look like a Hard Rock. Service was atrocious and the food was not up to this brand's standards. Americans beware. There is actually better American food at other restaurants in Nice. It's also very pricey! The servers kept rolling their eyes at us when we asked for things like ketchup. They were slow, inattentive, and rude. read more

Great location, tasty burgers and drinks . The staff was extremely nice and we immediately felt welcome . Variety of music which of course included rock music was present .
