Had to check out the collection of T's at the Hard Rock in Brussels. Nothing earth shattering, but very expensive & crowded with tourists taking selfies.

We when in around 7pm. They let us know that the waiting time to be seated was for 30 minutes. We agree to wait, the place was super packed!! We just stand in the bar, and checked out the souvenirs. After 20 minutes we got called to be seated, faster than expected. Our table was on the second floor, the location has 3 floors. We were a group of 5 ( ages 11 to 45), and we all found something tasty to enjoy. The waiter was friendly and spoke English so we didn't needed our tour guide to translate. The food took 30 minutes to arrive; for us it was pretty fast, since the place was fully packed and it was dinner time. Is a little pricey, but hey is Hard Rock Cafe( that's normal). We didn't order dessert, since we had plan to go and eat some waffle in another place.

We've been to Brussels many times and have been to many Hard Rock cafes around the globe..... but never in Brussels. Went in for a drink. Had a good time. Left around 17.15 and were back at 18.15 for dinner. Upstairs. Friendly service at dinnertable. Better than around bar (the were very busy). Foods good. Waiter good. Wifi good. Will be back.

Situated in the Grand Place, City Center in Brussels. This Hard Rock has a really comfy, eclectic feel, smaller, mote quaint feel. Some very cool features inside, most notably a wall of guitars. Hard Rock is always a must stop for me.

Not the best picture but the view is great on the grand' place.

One can debate about the long about the necessity of chain restaurants, some love them some hate them. I am of the first kind, not that I don't like the independence of a stand alone place but sometimes it is just pleasant to know that you can get that one specific thing that you urge so bad at that specific moment.... And the Hard Rock Café offers just that and the Brussels experience was right down my alley. I looooooove Hard Rock and the playlists are just great and some of the tunes remind me of the good old days, when listening to Soundgarden or Faith no More was cool! The decor was well thought through, the bar, the restaurant use the space of this beautiful historic house very well.... And as we are in the HRC you will have the guitars, t-shirsts and other memorabilia you can expect. The food: Again, they got it spot on, the burger is very nice and the nice thing is they actually have jalapenos if you want to spice it up (they look just like the ad but in real)... On my second visit I went for chicken and beef fajitas which were very well served as well, the sour cream and guacamole were great. For drinks HRC BXL have had the great idea to include a very nice selection of the amazing local belgian beers and the classic cocktails.. but I like the local brews! And to finish off the staff, they are very well trained, the waiting times are kept under control, and the courtesy is delviered very genuinly! To finish off, if you are a visitor in Brussels and hit the Grand Place there are other great places around the square which will give you a true taste of Belgium. But if you want to have a special event with a couple of buddies and long for a burger that looks just like he advertisement then HRC is for you.

Good mix of music and fantastic service. We came here as a group of 5 for desserts. And got tap water for free plus they had ice cubes!!! I got the sundae and it was good! Took a bite of the brownie too and perfect amount of sweetness - good times!

Can always count on Hard Rock to have American food. Whenever I'm in Belgium for a long time and I have a craving for greasy good food I come here. The prices are normal, the bathroom is free, and they have a cool art gallery on the upper floor where there are sketches from various musicians. I went here at night most recently and the view from the window on the beautifully lit grand place is definitely worth checking out! My only complaint is that it seems some of the staff only speaks English, which might alienate some of the older Belgian people who would want to give the Hard Rock a try. Obviously if you're visiting Belgium for a short trip, this Hard Rock has the same food as other Hard Rocks and the only special thing is the mini gallery upstairs!

While the register states No Cards one of the servers told the table next to mine not worry when they didn't have enough euros. Only a drink menu was provided and the dishes being served that day were handwritten on moveable boards or posted on the wall. I had on my list a couple to try but finally went with the Belgian carbonades à la biere which was beef stew with mashed potatoes in a dark gravy made with beer. The plate was quite generous and much appreciated since I devoured it. I enjoyed the creaminess of the potatoes swirled with gravy but the meat could've been a tad bit more tender. Service was good. I think everyone on the floor stopped by my table for one reason or the other. Ambiance was casual and looked like many people were taking their time over their meals. When finished you need head to the register to settle the tab. I paid in cash. Worth a return visit.

Why? 1) Because their website makes their hamburgers look succulent, 2) finally a different kind of restaurant in the EU quarter. What happened? With a couple of colleagues, we decided to go here for lunch. My colleagues ordered a chicken burger, a falafel burger and an Apple Jack. I went for the most expensive I think: the guacamole burger (22 euros!!!) so my expectations were high (for that price...). When our burgers arrived, we were impressed by the size and the look. However, here we go: - Fries were way too greasy, with no taste. The only taste we had was the taste of oil. - The meat was cooked as desired. However, the meat was just plain. - The bun was way too dry. - My guacamole? Not that much guacamole in it and the taste of the guacamole lacked that little kick of the guacamole. - My colleague's falafel burger was just huge and could not be considered as a burger, as she had to eat her falafel individually and in the end did not touch the bun. Some positive points that still gives it a 2 star? - They put some efforts to have a very neat decoration to create a nice atmosphere inside - The salad that comes with it is good, fresh and with a nice dressing But 22 euros for just enjoying the salad? That's not going to have me come back. Really too bad though, because the EU quarter needs some better options for lunch and if possible at reasonable prices. There were only about seven or eight tables me entire thing so it's cozy. The one person running the cash register and taking orders, was very kind, but a little distracted on her phone. I wonder if she was doing work. She was very sweet though and gave good recommendations. My friend got the Ragu while I opted for the gnocchi. I actually preferred the Ragu for sure. The meat was tender and delicious, and the noodles were thick and delightful. The gnocchi kind of tasted a little, bland and repetitive. To be honest, I wish we could've shared like five tiny plates. Felt like I was eating way too much gnocchi and didn't get a lot of diversity. The bacon on top did help a little. The dishes were about 25 a piece, but they definitely tasted homemade. We opted for the bruschetta as a starter and I would've skipped that. The tomatoes were super fresh and the bread was good but the olive oil was playing. Don't think it was worth $10. The wine selection was brilliant. Generally pretty affordable for the quality. Some delicious wines there that night. Love love, love the aesthetic.
