Replacing it was challenging ( we visited and obtained estimates from several other places) but Lawn and Leisure of 103 Douglas Court, Sterling, Va brought us warm joy with a new Regency Gas Fireplace. T.C. was our salesman and helped by personalizing the entire process. We were given many pointers that led to success. Our fireplace was delivered in ten days while other stores said it would take several months to make delivery. T.C. recommended Dulles Solid Construction, owned by Gary Pulino as the contractor and he and his team exceeded all expectations. No detail was ovelooked and recommendations were spot on! This made the many decisions of mantel, surround stone, hearthstone and fireplace height easier. Since our gas fireplace was direct vent, siding had to be removed outside and all inside bricks removed with skill. The finished product is beautiful and all stonework installed to perfection. The questions he had weren't rocket science, but he was treated as if he had asked the salesperson to personally drive over to look at our fireplace and offer hours of advice. My husband was even willing to take a look at new fireplaces, but that was also apparently asking for too much effort. When you rely on customers (as businesses do, I hear), it's generally good practice to make *some* effort. Absolutely unimpressed.
