My husband stopped by to ask some questions (and likely make a purchase!) and was treated as a major inconvenience. The questions he had weren't rocket science, but he was treated as if he had asked the salesperson to personally drive over to look at our fireplace and offer hours of advice. My husband was even willing to take a look at new fireplaces, but that was also apparently asking for too much effort. When you rely on customers (as businesses do, I hear), it's generally good practice to make *some* effort. Absolutely unimpressed.

Our refrigerator / freezer stopped working properly. The appliance was purchased from Spichers 11…read moreyears ago. Spichers had the invoice still in its system. A tech was sent to check the unit. It checked out okay, and I was only charged a service fee and I was not pressured into installing additional parts that may or may not have been needed or buy a new appliance. But, within a few days, the refrigerator / freezer was not working right again. Another tech was sent out and installed a new control panel, and I was charged only for the panel (no additional service fee). So far, the refrigerator / freezer is working as it should. Kenny, the Chief Service and Parts Officer, scheduled both calls efficiently and emailed me the dates and times for my approval. He gave me a 2-hour window for each call. On the days of service, I was notified of the exact time the techs would be arriving. Both techs (Bobby and Tyler) were courteous and knowledgeable, and respectful of my home. I called the office to receive copies of the invoices for both calls. Within minutes, Rebecca emailed the invoices to me. Excellent place to shop for appliances. Winchester store is spotless, everything well arranged,…read moreattentive staff. They will service anything you buy from them. About the only drawback is that they don't necessarily pre-check all their items, so you may occasionally have to call them in to deal with something (like dud icemakers) that should have been caught before putting the appliance on the floor. (They did fix mine, after clearing it with the warranty people, and it is now working properly.)
