I brought my food back in for a refund because the complete order was done wrong. NOT TO MENTION, when I called to place my order, the manager was snappy and told me to order online, so we did just that. The order was made completely wrong and when I went to call back she had turned off the phones so we had to drive into the store to do a return. I waited a good 10 minutes before she even bothered to talk acknowledge me. The restaurant had a whole two tables and I was told on the phone they were too busy to take my order over the phone but she was doing absolutely nothing when I showed up to refund my order. the manager was foul and nasty the whole time Dealing with her. She told me it would take 24hrs to give me a refund. And she had a disgusting attitude. I've  worked service industry lots so I understand how it works and how unprofessional the whole interaction was - i then snapped back at her and said if she had time to stand there and do nothing she had time to answer her effin phones and I left. The manager then called me SCREAMING and yelling about 3 minutes after I left the store , so unbelievable unprofessional I'm so taken back. ( I recorded her but unfortunately I cannot upload on here). Saying things like "she was older than me and knows more ( I giggled @ such an irrelevant comment)  & how we ate half of the order (I told her at the counter that the only thing we ate was the sandwich we had ordered - everything else was in the bag) she was mad she refunded me the sandwich back with the rest of the $65 order. I've never Incounterd such a vile person who managed a resurant and calls customers screaming at them. Not to mention, The veggie sticks were mushie, our wings slimy when u bit into them and also made wrong. I feel so bad for the one  poor server she had working, he looked as if he was working his tail off while she stood there !!.  I honestly hope that if this is how she plans on operating her business, that they get shut down.. Absolutely HORRIBLE SERVICE.

I had the burger special which was fucking fantastic! I was getting pretty tired of seafood at this point and it was the most refreshing change of pace. It was one of those just in time food experiences. C went for the crab cakes. What a gorgeous version of crab cakes they were! Fancy pants presentation and all things considered some of the best crab cakes we had on our trip. Bartender was really friendly and was super proud of their whiskey/bourbon collection. He did point out a few bottles to us that were really quite special and hard to come across. They had some Penelope variants that were unseen to me. I would come back in a heartbeat. If I lived nearby, I would be here all of the time. There were a ton of interesting menu items I would like to try. '26 - 26

I had the scallop street corn dish with seared scallops in a dish of homemade creamed corn which I recommend. The waiter was nice but mostly laughed at my coming and did not attempt to find me anything on the menu. I gave 2 stars at first because the atmosphere was nice and the frozen drinks were very yummy, but I had to settle on 1 star because of the total experience. The waiter never checked back on us and there was trash on the floor from falling off peoples plates as the waiters 'cleaned up'. My friends got wings and mozza sticks. They said the wings were good, nothing extraordinary. We went next door to Coasters afterwards. It was pretty AWFUL. People were playing the slot machines but otherwise it was pretty empty on a Saturday night. We played pool and bean bag toss but the music was so sad and dreary. The place looked like a neat sports bar but the scene didnt match the vibe. It was just awful. To end the night, my friends as I left because some guy was about to beat my friend. I was leaning toward something quick like Subway -- simple, predictable. But my wife spotted The Pub on Main in St. George. I was still set on Subway until she casually mentioned it was wing night. That was all the convincing I needed. When we arrived, the place was quiet but had that unmistakable small‑town vibe -- the kind that feels welcoming right away. Slowly, the tables filled, and the atmosphere came alive. Drinks were quick to arrive, and I even discovered a new cider favorite: #StormCider. The Food Rundown My wife ordered the pesto fettuccine and later said it was better than a dish at one of our "fancier" go‑to restaurants. Kid #1 demolished the pizza and garlic fingers, then dipped into Kid #2's fries without hesitation or permission! Kid #2 had a burger and fries and ate all! Kid #3 went for wings, started strong, but eventually tapped out -- couldn't handle any more but did say they were great wings! And me? Wings, of course. Wing night is non‑negotiable. Wing Verdict Years ago, I did a wing challenge across local restaurants to find the best. The Pub on Main would absolutely be a strong contender. Flavorful, crispy, and satisfying -- exactly what you want when you commit to wings. Final Thoughts This spot is a diamond in the rough and a real asset to the St. George area. It's the kind of place that surprises you with quality and atmosphere, and makes you glad you skipped the predictable option. With three more trips planned to the area, I'm hoping we'll stop in again -- because those wings deserve a repeat performance. https://www.tripadvisor.ca/ShowUserReviews-g642241-d12384565-r1038672308-Pub_On_Main-St_George_New_Brunswick.html#
