Can I drop ten stars? What a great experience. Walked in with no reservation, no call ahead. The guy was so Irish nice we got seated in ten minutes. Hannah was an absolute doll serving our table. The decor is outstanding. Now let me tell you about the food. The Irish lamb stew is out of this world, the smoked fish pie left a big smile on my father in laws face and the Chicken Eireann was fantastic with an over the top presentation. I cannot imagine a better place to eat in this little Irish town!!!

Chef Special Chocolate Fudge Cake

I stopped in for a late dinner after a long day traveling. Since the Chef Special dessert was Chocolate Fudge Cake, and that is a must have, I ordered a starter garlic cheese bread and starter chicken Caesar salad. That salad was one of the best Caesar salads I've had in a long time! The chicken was tender, the dressing was flavorful and seasoned perfectly, and the garlic croutons added just the right bite. Amazing! The garlic cheese bread was a perfect compliment to the salad, and it was the perfect blend of cheese and garlic and crunchy, buttery bread. The Chocolate Fudge Cake was also spot on. The cake was warm and tender, and the sauce was the perfect bittersweet topping for the ice cream and cake. The perfect ending to an outstanding meal.

Tasty meal in Donegal! We took my parents to Donegal a few weekends ago and were shocked at the lack of dining options in town. Prepping for the worst, we rolled up to one of the few places open for dinner and were greeted with a warm and lively atmosphere. I started with the mussels, had the cod for my main and finished with sticky toffee pudding. J had the haddock, and my parents had the fish and chips and the seafood pizza. Everything we had was surprisingly good and our servers were really great. The breaded mussels were especially tasty. If you are passing through Donegal town please give them a try!

That's not pepperoni.

Appetizers: -Bruscetta: 3.5/5 (it was some cheesy fried version, but was good. Not fresh, so only 3.5) -Deep fried mushrooms: 4/5 (deep fried so inherently good, the mayo sauce that came with it was the highlight.) Pizzas: -Peperoni: 0.5/5 (that was nothing even remotely similar to Peperoni. Tasted more like bologna than anything else. Total let down and total bummer.) -Quattro formaggi: 4/5 (great and Very cheesy, albeit super duper greasy. Still, would order again.)

Delicious food! Had the salmon and the brownie... scrumptious. Great service. Whimsical decor.

If you want an inch more of a view, open the window and hang your right eyeball out. The carpet is stained and truest a huge mess. Hard to walk on it without getting the heebie jeebies. Unfortunately, slippers weren't even close to making the cut. We went to charge our devices and found there was only one outlet which was being used by their mini tablet which is used to display hotel information...goodbye mini! We looked all over and yes, this was the only outlet except for in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, the handles kept falling off. A bit of a puzzle to put each piece back on. They gave me the wrong manager contact info. Last night, a man was screaming obscenities throughout the evening outside the doors of this place. The night security didn't do anything. The hotel is literally falling apart. The light in the bathroom doesn't even work. The place should just be torn down. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
