With no hesitation, they asked "mind if we take a look?" Before I knew it, they ACCURATELY assessed the problem and offered to fix it. I told them I would order the new motor online, but might need help installing it. "No problem! We can help, if you need it." No pressure, no sales pitch! Obviously, I needed the help...I called them a few days later (the DAY AFTER HURRICANE MATTHEW!!!). They fixed my pump the next day, didn't over charge me (I did my homework, and got other quotes, their price was beyond fair!) After several phone calls and leaving a day early from work to make sure I was home when they stopped by to look at our pool as we are having issues with it. He did not show up. I called to see what was going on and texted the owner. 3 days later he calls and apologized as he was out of town and said his business partner would be there that evening after being ghosted for 4 days. His partner did show, and they would work on getting me a quote for repairing a line and resurfacing our pool deck - that was June 17th and weeks later still have not heard from them and no quote. I guess they really don't need the business - but reading other reviews maybe that is a blessing. read more

Do NOT use this company! 1) It took 6 weeks instead of the promised 2 weeks. My pool sat empty and a mess for 6 weeks and they rushed to get it done the last week. 2) They installed the wrong tile. It's pretty, the right color, but wrong pattern 3) also not the tile I wanted on the stairs 4) I wanted blue mosaic turtles. After being told that the blue turtles were discontinued (which they are not) I got cheap blue screen print turtles. I asked for mosaic and would have paid top dollar for it. 5) The plaster job is an absolute mess!! The pool surface is completely uneven, you can see the ripples. Their are craters, divots and holes in many places. Their are visible craters around each turtle and each in ground pop-up cleaner head. Even the walls are not smooth. It's just a horrible mess!! The beautiful LED lights at night show every single flaw. It's an embarrassing wreck!!! 6) They filled in two planters with concrete and were going to send a guy to me (for an extra fee) to even out, texture and paint over the filled in planters. That never happened. I am left with ugly concrete. 7) plaster or grout got all over my deck leaving a sloppy mess and now I have to have my entire deck repainted at my cost of course. After begging them to finish my pool before our 4th of July party. They rushed to get it done 2 days before. They told me to enjoy my party and if they needed to come back after fir touch ups they would. I sent and email and a text explaining my issues after all this is under warranty. The owner never responded to my email. His business associate texted saying he would come out and discuss the issues. That was 3 weeks ago. Obviously they are not standing by there work, obviously there is no warranty!! This could have been an easy fix. All I wanted was a smooth pool and my deck to not be left in shambles! I can live with the tile, it's very pretty and the tile guy did a great job. It's sad, we feel completely screwed as we will never see these people again. read more

We hired Harbour Pools to resurface our pool and replace the waterline tile, along with installing a new salt system. The process started great with good communication and the replacement of the waterline tile going as expected. The resurfacing was scheduled for a Saturday but the plaster guys didn't show and a call to Harbour Pools was answered with the plaster crew had mechanical problems with their mixer. It was rescheduled for the next day and the plaster crew showed up and the crew leader - who were contract - said he was sick the day before. The pool was resurfaced and filled. Harbour Pools showed up to restart the system and said someone would be by in 2 weeks to clean the pool and balance the water chemistry, and they would be back in 30 days to put salt in the pool and start the salt system . We paid the balanced owed to Harbour Pools mostly satisfied. 2 weeks later with lots of plaster dust and debris in the pool the cleaner guy hadn't shown. Calls to Harbour Pools were returned with we hire these guys to do the cleaning and chem balance and they'll be out this week to take care of it. They never showed to my knowledge. I couldn't use my suction cleaner because there was plaster in the cleaner connection so I rigged up a temporary connector to use the cleaner. I also did the water chem balancing on my own. After 30 days I called Harbour Pools inquiring about the salt system startup with no reply. I bought salt and started the system on my own. I called Harbour Pools more than once telling them I could not use the suction cleaner because of the plaster in the connection. 2 weeks later I finally get a call apologizing that they were out of town and they would be out to clear the cleaner connection - which they did - 6 weeks after startup. Less than 2 years later the waterline tile begins to come loose in 2 different locations and fall off. Also the salt cell fails. I was told by Harbour Pools when they installed the salt system that it came with a 5 year warranty on the salt cell. The cell was tested and confirmed bad by our local Pinch-a-Penny and told us the cell should still be under 3 year warranty through the installer. I send Harbour Pools an email and and also fill out a form on their website with no reply. 2 weeks later I call and leave a message about the salt cell warranty and the tile issues. The following week I get a call from Harbour Pools and they apologize but they had been out of town and they'll be out next week to look at the tile. They also tell me the Lake Washington Pinch-a-Penny would replace the salt cell under warranty. Harbour Pools never showed or called, and Pinch-a-Penny tells me I need a receipt with the salt cell serial number on it. I call Harbour Pools the following week and leave a message telling them I never heard from them concerning the tile issues and I need a receipt with the serial numbers to get a replacement salt cell. 2 weeks later still nothing. That has been my experience with Harbour Pools. The only advice I can give is make sure everything is correct and complete before paying the final balance because after that you don't exist to Harbour Pools. After reading all the great reviews I decided to contact Harbour Pools and Spa to repair my pool. I called and got an appt with no problem. The morning of the appt they did not show up. After waiting 30 minutes, thinking they were running late. I called, had to leave a voice message, to see if maybe I had written down the wrong day or time. They have not bothered to return my call. We contacted several area pool resurfacing companies for estimates to resurface our pool and received 5 estimates. After reading all available reviews we chose Harbour Pools and Spa. During the resurfacing we observed professionals performing each phase of the resurface and they left the area clean before leaving. Every worker was courteous and answered every question we asked. A 15-year warranty (in writing) was given to me for work performed by Harbour Pools and Spas. After I started having similar problems with the pool less than a year later, they did not honor this warranty by repairing the pool or offering compensation. Extremely horrid at communication. A job quoted for 4 days took more than 4 weeks. They no call no show. When you call or text them they don't respond. The pool cleaning service is not spectacular but the cleaners are very pleasant. Not recommended at all!! read more
