I had two kids in harborpoint kindercare, my oldest from 6 months to 3 and have been exceptionally happy with this daycare. The management is fantastic, kind and easy to work with. Very focused on the kids. We have not had any issues with any of the teachers and been through many of them. Even when my daughter was mid-potty training and having daily accidents, we did not get a complaint. We never had to worry about the quality of care they received. I would highly suggest stopping by and seeing for yourself. It's very noticeable that this kindercare is the best managed daycare in the area. read more

We love HP KinderCare! Both of my kids went here for years. My children love being there and my daughter still talks about her care givers. Ms. Cathy has been supportive with all the changes that took place in our professional and personal lives including COVID19. The care givers are wonderful with kids at all stage. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE! As a Parent I avoided having to put my child in daycare after all the horror stories I've heard. I finally caved in, and thought it would be such an amazing experience for my child. NOT. 3 weeks...2 colds, hand foot and mouth, norovirus, and pink eye. In only 3 weeks... facility is supposed to clean by rules. Clearly they don't. They also allow kids to come with open sores, pink eye, and have staff there while they are vomiting.... I will probably never be able to be comfortable having my child in a daycare again. Warning families before they get into the mess my family got into! read more

I can't say enough good things about the infant care at this Kindercare. The people there are so attentive and caring and I really felt like my baby was somewhere that he was being adored and coddled when I wasn't with him. Miss Bridgette is amazing and I always felt like she genuinely cared about my son. The only reason my son isn't still attending is that we moved and we were broken hearted to leave there, not being sure if we would get the same love and attention at another center. All of the teachers there were very sweet, and knew my son's name and said hi to him. It's just a really great, really clean center. Highly recommended. read more

As a parent and young mom (24) any one knows best (the great parents that is...) that having a stranger/s watch your child/children can be scary and exhausting. So add the mix into looking for what type of care you are wanting from nanny, full time, part time or whatever best fits your family, it all can be exhausting and a lot to bare. Today 4/21/14 is my child's first day. I can't say ENOUGH how impressed I am about how positive,nice and out going friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Transferring to a new daycare is scary for the child/children, but let alone for the parents too as they have standards they expect/hope to see. The teachers / child care providers (or whatever you decide with) are truly your eyes and ears when you are away at work. When I was looking for childcare I went to numerous different KinderCare's within my area/s as all centers run similar on an expectation for learning, but the staff here truly defines it. As a parent I look for a few basics which set the tone for me. 1) I walk in unannounced - As I want to see what the atmosphere is like without being "pre-warned" of a perspective new parent/child coming.... 2) Does the front office set the tone/tell me about the place. Is it neat/tidy? Can staff be reached easily (answer to all of these = YES!!) 3) How are the classrooms? Is there art work to be shown. Not just in my child's, but other rooms too. Could I tell that the teachers were involved and what students were learning? (answer to these = YES!!) 4) How is the staff (based on watching) Staff is very engaged and you can tell each child has one on one time with a teacher despite the class size. Each staff there (from the impression I received from looking...) takes the time to get to know your child/their needs and how to help your child/children grown individually and within a learning environment. I was very much impressed with this center. Though it was a little further than I wanted to go, I don't mind the extra 5-8 minute drive for a place I know my child will blossom and excel in. I felt good from the first phone call to great walking in for the first time. The director Carissa, truly made us feel welcome at the front door as well over the phone. All the staff are very much like this and you just feel like family "sense" when you go there. Any questions I had/paper work that needed to be done was handled by her or someone there when she wasn't. Staff never made me feel awkward. If one person was unsure I NEVER once heard "I'm not sure" I ONLY HEARD... "Let me find that answer for you" and within 5 minutes - 24 hours I had the answers to my questions. As a mother, I wanted the first daycare for my 4 months old baby to be great and not very traumatic. Well, my son now is 9 months and we are still very happy. The teachers and Kathy, the manager, are wonderful. Thank you! read more

My 9 mo. old goes to Harbour Pointes off of Mukilteo Speedway and I absolutely love it. He originally started at Boeing Daycare, but they raised the rates and I am glad they did. HP employees have been able to make my son sleep and eat better (which was not happening at Boeing). The people are super nice and always wants to chat about how great (or not great) Elliot was doing and how we can help. The front person, Melissa is wonderful too. Very accommodating and always tells me how much they enjoy having Elliot in their classroom. I think HP is very down to earth place. read more

I will never ever put my child in this day care. First, the staff lacks of any customer service skills. I stepped in to drop my child for a day and the manager did not even say hello or welcome. Just one the assistant looked to my papers in a big rush and that was it. I was not given any information about their schedule and when I asked if they spend any time outside. I was told only if" all the kids have their coats otherwise we will not take them separately". In other words, they don't have enough staff to spend time with kids inside and outside. I was told at the beginning, when I first toured that he is in a room than I found out he was put in another room. When I came and picked him, the supervisors (totally others) were not even informed about his schedule in the day care. Above all, he cought a virus and ended up with him in ER with bronchiolitis. KinderCare doesn't have enough competition in Mukilteo and they are only interested for turnover and that's it! read more

I was more than disappointed with this center on many different levels. My daughter started out in the potty training room. The teacher in this room almost always had her back to the children who were running wild and always in a state of chaos. When I came to pick my daughter up after her first day, she cringed in fear, thinking that it was another child coming to bully her. I later found out that she had been placed with older children without my knowledge or consent, and that the older girls were picking on her, and the teacher did nothing to stop it. When I questioned why she had been moved to a new room, the new teacher told me that it was because the other classroom had too many children, and my daughter was old enough to be in this "potty-trained" classroom. The classroom with 3- to 5-year-olds is pure pandemonium! There are about 20 children to ONE teacher, who is usually more focused on her clipboard than the children. On three different occasions, I witnessed this teacher SHAME children for having accidents in their pants. There was no comforting or nurturing.. she yelled at the child who had had an accident and made them clean up their own feces. Meanwhile, the other children were screaming, hitting each other, climbing on the shelves and tables and throwing toys. One of the most upsetting incidents in the time my child attended this facility, was when she told me she did not get fruit with her lunch because the teacher told her "there was not enough." All the other children had fruit with their lunch except my daughter. I was outraged and the teacher had nothing to say when I brought up the issue. There was absolutely NO structure: Some children would be snacking while others were coloring on tables. I witnessed too many incidents of children hitting each other without even being noticed by the teacher. And on the off occasion when the teacher would notice a child was injured, that child was made to sit by themselves while the teacher wrote on her clipboard, almost being punished for being hurt. The injured child was not given any sort of comfort; they just got stuck on the bench... The staff in general seemed to be very unprofessional. Several times I witnessed staff members text messaging on their cell phones ignoring the children they were supposed to be supervising. Rarely did I get a greeting from the front office staff. I would never recommend this center to ANYONE. read more
