There are two hairdressers and they both speak English fluently as their first language. Not to say that if the stylists spoke a different language that would be a bad thing. I've gotten wonderful cuts at other salons from people who (shocking) speak English as a second language. I've been going there for years. It's reasonably priced, the service is great and the stylists are super friendly. So either she's lying or she reviewed the wrong salon. ******** I got the Groupon. Made an appointment and it turns out I know the stylist from high school, like 40 million years ago. I showed her the color I wanted and explained that I am very simple with hair style, basically just need a deep trim. She got the color together and put it in my hair. As my hair was soaking up the dye, she worked on another client, cutting and blow drying her hair. Fast forward to the end, because the middle is boring stuff. My hair is cut and dried, and it looked soooooo good. I couldn't stop saying, "Lisa!! It looks so good! You got the color exact. Look at the picture. It looks just like it!!!" The only suggestion I'd make is the sinks are up too high. I'm short and had to hold myself up keep my head over the sink. They should be lowered so we can rest our necks in the dip part. I booked an appointment with Justina. It was easy to book an appointment using the Vagaro app and she was very responsive when I had to reschedule due to an unexpected work engagement or just had general questions about the appointment. The salon is very clean, modern, and has such a relaxed feel about it. I was greeted warmly at the door by the receptionist and I was taken right away. Justina spent some time discussing what it was that I wanted done. I am truly awful at describing what hair colors I want but after some back and forth, we had a game plan for my hair. Justina was honest about the challenges I had with my hair (too much straightening!) and encouraged me to use some products that helped tremendously. After going with her suggestion on my next visit to get the keratin protein treatment, my hair looked so much healthier and no more frizz (definitely get this for the summer!). Now I go to her on a regular basis & bring my kids too. She is up on the latest so she helped come up with a compromise that I could live with for my son's hair. She gave my curly tween several tips on managing her curls which helped tremendously. She cut her hair in a way that produces curls throughout but less tangles. She really knows her stuff. Overall I was very happy with the work that was done on my hair and the care that was taken to make sure my hair was healthy. With that said there is nothing that justifies the cost of getting your hair done here especially since they triple book you and often leave your hair in the hands of their "assistants"- who are also stretched thin and mostly inexperienced. I get wanting to maximize profit. I have a business myself! So I get it. But imagine my surprise when i book a highlight at 11 and someone else books a highlight at 12 and now my colorist is leaving me to do both. On top of that i think it's generally wrong to not blow out your client who has just gotten color treatment because color looks different wet versus dry. I wasn't informed to book a blow out on top of my color services I was just rushed out of the chair with wet hair day of, which was odd. Additionally, someone who formerly worked on my hair here came into MY workplace for a service and then complained to my boss instead of letting me know directly that there was an issue. I would never do anything like that to anyone, but apparently this is the culture at this salon or what this individual decided was appropriate. Again, I was happy with how my hair came out here. They brought my hair back to normal after it was ruined by another salon, but I don't think I'll be back. Onward!

Beware: My daughter went to Razing Hair to get her hair lightened, she brought in a picture of very…read morelight hair so they could see what she wanted. She unfortunately ended up with mousy brown, grey, mud colored hair. She also came home and all the dark dye was left all around her face and through her roots. She had to plead to have them try and fix it. When she went back they (mainly the owner Chris) were rude and short tempered with her. They even said if you just keep washing it, it will lighten up, which means they only used semi-permanent color. They did blow it out and she was hoping she could live with it, but the next day she was crying that they ruined her hair. I then tried calling the owner to discuss having my daughter get her money back, since she was charged $245 for them to destroy her hair. Chris not only was rude and sassy, to say the least, he hung up on me twice and when he finally calmed down and would talk and not scream at me, he said he is sure the only reason my daughter hated her hair was because I told her she looked terrible and then of course he hung up. Even though I was completely disgusted by his comments, I called Razing Hair back to try one more time to rationalize with Chris, but he wouldn't get on the phone, however, when he finally called me back he said he searched and found a picture of my daughter on social media that looked like she loved her hair after it was fixed and he also went on to say that if I continued to call him about this issue he would call my place of work and get me fired for harassment. After all this, the terrible job they did on my daughter's hair and the way we were both spoken to, Chris, the owner actually dared to threaten my livelihood just so he didn't have to do the right thing as a business owner and reimburse an 18 year old, so she could go somewhere else to get her hair fixed. He even continued to say that the last person who tried this he (Chris) actually made sure they got fired from their job. I am flabbergasted that he even has clients. If you want light blond hair, without muddy ash, then Razing Hair is not the place for you. There are numerous talented hairdressers in the towns around where they are located and I suggest you try those, so you can avoid such a horrible experience with a person like Chris, and you will also avoid having him threaten getting you fired from your job just because you are not satisfied with the job they do on your hair. In November of 2021, I walked into Hair Addict, without an appointment, to check them out. I was greeted by her amazing staff who introduced me to Angela, the owner. I was so depressed and I think Angela really felt for me! I hated my hair and always wore a hat to cover it. Angela immediately made time for me to evaluate my hair and discuss the process of extensions. I then discussed the cost of services and ordered my new hair. A week later, I was transformed! I felt beautiful and more like myself again! I cried and then Angela gave me a hug and we cried together! In those moments in life, all the sacrifices you make come full circle.
