Enter Salon Domane I have been here twice and I am so glad that I found them! Salon is super clean, big, and nicely decorated. They have an easy online system to schedule your appointment- you can also call and schedule an appointment and I've seen people walk in to schedule an appointment as well. I've had both Lauren and Kim do touch ups and blow outs for me. Both are so incredibly sweet and did an amazing job! Honestly I didn't know what to expect, I bought a deal on living social and usually when you come in with a deal, the staff tends to be rude or cold with you but not this salon. Everyone was so friendly and Kelly was a dream. You can tell she knows her stuff, she told me what look would look better on me because the hair color I showed her, she said wouldn't flatter my face or skin tone and boy am I glad I listened to her. My hair color came out amazing and the haircut flattered my face. I will be coming back to her. She is very sweet and makes you feel welcomed. I went to someone for a long time but she took forever to do my hair color & I didn't have 3-1/2 hours available to get my hair done on Saturdays. It's just not practical with the amount of gray & the amount of times I have to get it done. I found my person! I am thrilled to have found a new go-to and highly recommend this place! I booked an appointment with Justina. It was easy to book an appointment using the Vagaro app and she was very responsive when I had to reschedule due to an unexpected work engagement or just had general questions about the appointment. The salon is very clean, modern, and has such a relaxed feel about it. I was greeted warmly at the door by the receptionist and I was taken right away. Justina spent some time discussing what it was that I wanted done. I am truly awful at describing what hair colors I want but after some back and forth, we had a game plan for my hair. Justina was honest about the challenges I had with my hair (too much straightening!) and encouraged me to use some products that helped tremendously. After going with her suggestion on my next visit to get the keratin protein treatment, my hair looked so much healthier and no more frizz (definitely get this for the summer!). Now I go to her on a regular basis & bring my kids too. She is up on the latest so she helped come up with a compromise that I could live with for my son's hair. She gave my curly tween several tips on managing her curls which helped tremendously. She cut her hair in a way that produces curls throughout but less tangles. She really knows her stuff. Then i said i saw a Groupon and she then decided fhere were no appointments available. The point of Groupon is to give people an incentive to come there hoping to gain a new forever client. Salon domane is the best hair salon on the island!!!! I have been getting my hair done by Kim for years and she is amazing. A few years ago she opened this salon. The pricing is fair and matches the current rates in most salons. The atmosphere is great! The people who work there are kind and friendly. They offer you tea or water. She even has treats like cookies available! The assistants are sweet and give awesome shampoos. It is so relaxing; just like a massage! Kim is the only hairdresser I have seen but I am sure that they are all as good because Kim takes great pride in her salon and would only offer the best services. Kim herself is the best hairdresser I have ever been to. I made the rounds to several hairdressers until I found Kim. I have been thankful ever since! I love my hair! Lauren and Val did my hair for my wedding day this past weekend, along with my family and bridesmaids. Everyone looked gorgeous. Our hair looked exactly like the pictures we showed them. And if there wasn't a picture, they were able to improvise perfectly. Unfortunately I had the worst haircut a few months ago by Justina, and now painfully growing it out so it does not stick out all over anymore.I am then going back to a previous salon to have it fixed this friday. I even went back a week later to have it "fixed" because she forgot to go back over it after drying and styling. It still looks like an old style "shag" haircut, with a clear line cut straight across ear level, then it just drops. I hate looking at it, and frustrated when I try to style it.
