I had a terrible experience here. I just went for a blowout and left with flat and burnt-smelling hair. Didnt seem like anyone knew what they were doing and it was their first time attempting to use a blow dryer. My head got burnt multiple times and I can do a nicer blowout myself. He kept trying to convince me that I needed an iron to make it any curlier which is a lie because I've gotten MANY blowouts and they've given me more volume with a rounded brush. Nice people but overall very poor service. read more

I wish I would have read reviews , I previously went and the owner did my hair and I was very happy with the service. Today I went for a color along with my 2 teenage kids for color as well , the colorist said she could do the color and it turned out to be a nightmare. We did not get the color wanted hair was not washed out correctly and I was charged $580.00 dollars for myself and my two daughters. Would never go there again read more

Horrible. Made an appointment with the owner as a first time visit and didn't realize until the guy doing my hair didn't speak any English, was clearly not the owner. Which made no sense because the owner was there watching tv. Color horrible, haircut okay, blowout was nice. The guy that did my hair was very nice but didn't speak English so when I was trying to explain how I wanted my haircut he couldn't undestand a word I was saying. If I could give this place no stars I would I went there for ombré my hair was to my butt , only wanted a little off and since they burnt my hair from over processing it they had to cut my hair to my shoulders and I'm losing so much hair I had to go out and buy all these expensive products to try and repair my hair . other salons said it's going to take months to repair my hair . Plus I had to pay for this process . They suck I would never go again . The women who did my hair is karielle and even the owner tried sayin my hair looked good . Called my bank to cancel payment . Got my hair highlighted and cut, overall I am very pleased with it ! They didn't stain my scalp like other places tend to do and the gave me the right color evenly.. The cut was great too, just wish I went more shorter lol. I got my hair done by Tony he is the best one there , the other girls seemed young and don't rly look like the have the same experience as him thou. so I would definitely advice to get your hair done by him! Just make sure to have an appointment...he's portuguese so he knows how to get the job done haha read more

Trust me, I know my salons, because of my work I travel a lot, domestic and international, and where ever I am, I get my hair done. Janine has been cutting my hair for about 15 years, so when she moved to J. Anthony's I followed her. Everyone is so helpful, it's a team effort sometimes when it comes to cutting my son's hair. He absolutely hates getting his hair cut, so when he gets upset, Tony jumps in with his "Sponge Bob" buzzer and saves the day! I have been going to J Anthony salon for my haircut for many years. I recently have had some health issues. I called Tony and explained my dilemma. He said "Don't worry. Come on in and I will take care of you. He certainly did. Right to the chair...fast haircut...out the door. The haircut was great, but my true appreciation was for his compassion. Tony is the best. If I could give him 10 stars I would. You would NEVER make a mistake of having him do your hair...Male or female. read more

do not go to this salon. i called for a price and asked how long a certain service would take. i get there with appointment wait 20 minutes. i was very specific about the color i wanted and the purpose and asked again if i could be out of there in 40 minutes from that moment. she assured me i would be then left me in a dryer. washed my hair in seconds. the color didnt cover my hair left me with dye on my face and to go back to work with my hair soaking wet. goes to charge me and changes my card $25 more than what she said it would cost. was nasty on top of it. i called next day for a refund and she was even more nasty and denied all of the above. glad my phones are recorded and so was our conversation when i paid. i am going further with this. tony was out on vacation and will hear about it and lose clients i send there. not a way to run a business. read more
