Since I was alone, I sat at the bar. The young woman barkeep was very nice and efficient - and even though it was approaching closing time she never made me feel rushed or " you need to get out of here ". THANK YOU and I apologize I didn't catch your name! You deserve a pay increase! I ordered the Marguerite pizza - really tasty! And while I normally prefer a cracker thin crust, this pizza was fluffy and light...not heavy at all. Delish! I would order it again. My only knock of the star is for the gentleman that was sitting two seats down from me...not only on his phone, but on speaker. Ridiculous and rude. Anywho - be sure to support this LOCAL GEM!

After a long wait, the pizzas we received were nothing like I remembered. Their homemade sausage was Mediocre at best. Louie put big chunky pieces of their sausage on the pizza. Wow! What a spectacular evening at Sebastian's!…read moreCelebrated my husband's birthday along with a hometown reunion of his siblings here the other evening and it was PERFECT. The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is spot on and gives you exactly the feel you want in a fine dining establishment. But the thing that makes this restaurant stand far above most others is the service! From the minute we walked in, we encountered nothing but genuine smiles and a sense that everyone there seemed to really care and be invested in us having a wonderful experience in their place of business. We were greeted at the front desk by a team of radiant ladies at the host stand. It seriously felt like they were happy to see us! Violet was especially kind and gracious and we enjoyed a short chat with her. The bartender was pleasant and efficient in taking our large varied order, and the drinks were solid. The bus and runner staff all were personable, polite and expedient. But the true star of our night was our waiter Brandon! He was spectacular. There were 15 of us and he handled our large table calmly and skillfully. He handled our indecisiveness, modifications, add ons, questions and loud revelry, professionally and expertly, never loosing his composure or patience. He definitely made our night. Thank you Brandon. We live in New York and most of the others live in Milwaukee and Minneapolis now, but Racine is the hometown and the 4th of July is a kin to a sacred holiday. The parade not to be missed! So I'm sure many a visit back is in our future, and the next time we do, I will make sure Sebastian's is on the top of our must do list! So please stay wonderful! Five stars!

Moving back to our hometown of Racine, Wisconsin there are numerous Italian restaurants that serve very good pizza. I love to support local and new entrepreneurs. We ordered a large cheese/Italian sausage/mushroom pizza and all of us agreed it was a phenomenal pizza!!! So much so we are going back this week to eat there again and ordet that unbelievable pizza! I can say that Marinos will be one of our go to places moving forward! I can't wait to try other items on their menu too! The atmosphere is clean and well decorated. Our wait person was attentive. We were greeted with a smile and a welcoming greeting! I thought the prices were reflective on the quality of ingredients being served! I would highly, highly recommend Marino's as a wonderfully delicious addition to the city of Racine!

The food portions for the pasta are absolutely amazing & large!!! You will take leftovers home. My wife got the Chicken Picatta....which I wanted to get but we never like to have same meal at a new place. It looked fabulous & amazing. Not heavy & very light but massive chicken breast. I ended up getting the Fall Special Bourbon Salmon. Portion size was good for fish. The glaze was tremendous. The side roasted vegetables alone I would have paid for an extra side. We saw people order the Gnocchi & Lasagna. Either of those were enough for two full dinner meals. Meals come with a salad or soup. I got the Tomato Basil soup & it was very delicious. Waiter was very nice guy & did a good job at making us feel welcomed.

If you want Italian cuisine that feels like home this place nails it. I had the chicken breast with basil and other spices that complimented the meal, over roasted potatoes cooked to perfection. A tasty meal that you remember and always want to come back too. My husband had his favorite, the Shrimp Fra Diavolo with Angel Hair Pasta, which is his favorite and always looks forward to having as it just gets better and better every meal. The atmosphere is comfortable and so welcoming and prices are very reasonable. The service was excellent. The bonus is feeling right at home.

From the time we were seated, it was clear they had thought of all the little details. We received a sweet anniversary card at our booth, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our server, Michelle, was wonderful. She was attentive throughout our entire visit and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. We both had to try the French onion soup, and it did not disappoint! The drinks were great, and our entrees were even better. We ordered the chicken piccata and the honey mustard-crusted salmon, both were delicious. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. We were full from dinner, but Michelle let us know that we would be receiving Schaum Torte to celebrate our anniversary. Of course we had to eat it. It was amazing, light and delicious with fresh cream! We enjoyed our dinner and really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the entire experience. Joey Gerard's made our anniversary feel really special!

Been here several times. It was always been an excellent experience. This restaurant has…read moreexcellent food, service, and atmosphere, but it's not stuffy. Don't let the white jackets on the servers fool you, they are relaxed and personable. It's a supper club. They may not have the most extensive menu, but I don't know of anyone who has ever had a issue with what they ordered. Normally, I'm the person who goes out to try something different. JG's is an exception that this rule. I love lamb, especially lamb chops when they are prepared properly. I have always been satisfied with the lamb chops. Simply the best. Tonight we came with another couple, who were celebrating a birthday. They are members of JGs loyalty club. At our table, they had left a handwritten card with birthday greeting. They were also entitled to a discount. We have had this server before, and have always impressed with the professionalism, and helpfulness. After ordering a round of drinks, with a couple of excellent old fashioned, we were ready to place our food order. Of course I got the Lamb Chops, and the others ordered, Chicken Piccata, Steak Diane, and Bacon Wrapped Scallops. While we waited, there was bread and small tray of crackers and spreads (I do wish they served an actual relish tray). Didn't take that long for the food. It was all hot, flavorful and good portions. My Lamb Chops were a perfect medium rare. The sides were also sufficiently hot, which was an improvement over our last visit. All the other entrees were excellent. And everyone had some leftovers to take home. For dessert the birthday boy got a free Schaum Torte. We added to that with a Brandy Alexander, which was hand mixed and not overblended. And a Creme Brulee, freshly torted so that caramel with dry and brittle, not soft and tacky. A great way to end a superb meal. Definitely a place that we look forward to returning too!

The food might have been great, but the lack of view sent us looking. We had seen the Chartroom and considered it, but the local recommendation sent us to the other place. We are so glad we passed on the first place and came here. They were not busy and we were able to choose a table of our liking on the deck with great views of the bridge and river. Our waitress came by with menus and got our drink order within a min or two of us sitting down. I am a gin and tonic drinker and my biggest disappointment is when the tonic is flat, that is not the case here though, much to my delight. My wife's Pinot Grigio was a bit sweet for her tastes, but she didn't complain too much. We split orders of Ahi tuna with a salad, a cup of shrimp chowder, fried shrimp, and fried Pollock. More than enough for us, but we were hungry and wanted to try them all. They have a sister restaurant on the other end of the parking lot that has the same great views but a different menu. We would come back if we are in the area again.
