I immediately thought that the restaurant was adorable and had a great business plan for getting customers taken care of. We ordered and took a seat on the top floor. We ordered twenty wings. My husband picked up the food at the window when the food was ready. When he returned to the table, I noticed that the sauce was missing. The couple that we were with offered to give us their sauce , but I said "not problem, I will go down and get my blue cheese". When I went to the pick up window, there was a couple of people in line. I waited until my turn and asked the lady if I could get my blue cheese because I thought that they forgot to put in in our container. She "rolled her eye", and said ok. So I walked away and thought that I should go ahead and get the second sauce. I walked back to her and asked her for it. She said "that will be 50 cents". I said that I had already paid for it when I placed my order. I pointed to the lady that had taken our order. She said ", it's fine. I said, well, it obviously is not. She went and got the blue cheese and gave it to me. I noticed that she was joking about me with the next customer. I am not a "diva", and don't expect special treatment at a restaurant. All I expect is that someone takes my word over a 50 cent blue cheese. "Really?" We enjoyed your food, lake and otherwise hospitality. It is sad that someone 1/3 my age would say this to me. Contacted this company initially to get some boat repair work handled. They replaced my bilge pump…read morewith a device that "they" recommended. The pump was designed to turn on every 15 minutes to sense if any water was present, I asked if this would not cause battery issues - the marina had no power at the docs during this time. Was advised not a problem. Well, the pump didn't work, and was advised they would send someone out, asked I be advised what they found. Got a call the pump was exchanged for one that has a sensor that notices water in the bilge and turns on. Why wasn't this used at the start, thanks for your recommendation? Asked if they could check my bilge heater to make sure it was good to go before replacing it with the new one I had purchased just in case. I was advised the mechanic would call me when at the boat, I also was asked for my credit card information. No calls just a bill!! Why did I use them the second time, felt I would allow them to make things right, by the way, the "new" pump is not working, will not call these people for anything at all.

This was plainly written on the service form. When we picked up the boat, we did not look over the form until we were closer to the boat ramp. There was no indication that the gas had been drained so we called back and were told that they had tested the gas and it was fine. We did not really care about the test--we wanted the gas drained. This was the one specific thing we requested and the request was ignored. They said it saved us money--not the point. Not happy ---dissatisfied customer.

You can look at boats that cost more than an average house, or rent a pontoon boat (that's what we did for a day). Also available for rent are towables, such as wakeboard thingies, which we also rented. I'll take a picture of the brochure with the rates. Very nice people, very helpful people. Did I mention clean? You could white-glove test the floor in this place and not find a solitary dust mote. The bathrooms (or the men's, at least...didn't hazard the ladies' room) are also spotless. Be aware that if you reserve a boat in advance and the weather is adverse on your rental day, you won't be taking the boat out onto the water. I defer to the staff on this, because they know better than occasional visitors how conditions are and can change on the lake.

In the span of about 4 hours we spent roughly $700 on the boat and gas (roughly the going rate so no issue there). But pricing aside, I can say that I have never been treated so rudely by any business ever... AND I LIVE IN ATLANTA! I get that working on a Saturday probably sucks and that you probably deal with rude people often but when someone is pleasant and spending even $5 at your business (MUCH LESS $750) a meager "thanks" or "have a nice day" goes a long way. I was warned but…read more.. The only reason I give this place 2 stars is that it DOES have the cheapest gas on the lake and the storage fees are very reasonable. As for the customer service I find them VERY lacking and cold. There is seldom if EVER anyone at the dock to help dock your boat to get gas By water it is very tricky getting in and out if there is more than one boat at a time. The docks themselves are not properly trimmed and have scratched my boats on more than one occasion. They did not and do not seem to care about this. They act surprised in a fake way, as if it were the boat owner's fault, ALWAYS Warning: I had my reservations storing my boats here, but it was cheap and available. They require a 6 month agreement to store a boat and are NOT flexible. I lost the sale of one of my boats because they were unwilling to let me end my contract early, even though the boat had been stored there for only 10 days and they KNEW I was trying to sell it. I feel that their choice to do this has damaged my relationship with them and I have truly been burned. They were resolute and cold and, in my opinion, extremely unprofessional. Forget about this place and go els ware, the savings on the gas isn't worth it....
