Seriously love my new mink lashes! I'm so happy I found a studio near home that is convenient and reliable! I think I rescheduled twice and they were very understanding and quick to see me at short notice. I heard about them while getting my nails done next door. There was another lady that just had her lashes done and said she drives nearly 40 mins to specifically get them done here. Thao and her fiancé are very sweet people. They take their time to explain the different quality in materials they use and she has a meticulous hand when working on your lashes. I had close to no lashes. I've had mine done several months ago where they irritated me so much I cut them all off and it has taken a while to grow back. My lashes were very thin, but she was still able to do an amazing job! Sigh she's never accomplished the look I asked for. I showed her a picture of what I was trying to go for as well that I've attached. The first time I went in, she did it a tad too thick and too long for my taste but fine whatever, they fall out and don't look that bad. I went in a couple weeks later for fill and she asks if I want the same style and I say yes. Well, she removes all the prior, longer lashes and puts on shorter ones. I think it was cuz of my reaction to the first set for being thicker and longer than what I wanted that made her shorten the length but now they're too short and don't look like anything to me. I plan on taking them off and going back to my first salon in LA. read more

I found them off of Groupon but before I purchased it, I called to make sure I could get an appointment this week. They let me know that I would not need to purchase the Groupon and that they will honor the price in store. I just had to how them a screen shot of the current price. I made the appointment for Saturday, 9/8. Now onto the actual service... I arrived 5 minutes late as I did not anticipate traffic and as soon as I got in, I was greeted and was told to fill out the form. The gentleman at the front performed his "upgrade to mink eyelash for only $20" monologue and I am a poetry sucker, so I gave in and upgraded. It was then after that, Amy let me know she was ready for me. She asked what look I was going for and from there she started. Let me be real, homegirl was aggressive AF on my eyes. I have had lashes done quite often and I have never experienced this. Her grip on my eyelid was so strong that I was seeing colors. It was like a galaxy had a baby with a Tie Dye t shirt. No joke dude AND when she put the lashes on, I can feel it dig into my eyelid. I was thinking to myself, "Oh shit. Never buy services off of Groupon again bitch. You gone learn today." Nonetheless, I still let her continue cause beauty is pain right!? Can I also mention that she breathes really loud. Like thats all I could focus on was her breathing. It made me think of that character from Hey Arnold! You know the one that likes Helga and he is always creepin on her?....This made me giggle inside and made it easier for me to sit there. I know by now yall are wondering why I gave them 5 stars with all the above information... well first, one star is for ease of appt scheduling. No deposit is required. Two stars for customer service. Three stars because Amy let me answer my phone during the appt. Like she even told me who was calling (cause my eyes were taped shut) and put it on speaker for me. SO DOPE. Four stars because she did exactly what I wanted. I like the natural look with a little oopmh. I know girls like them extra AF and Im not down with that, so I really do thank her for tailoring to my needs. AND FIVE STARS BECAUSE: TWO DAYS LATER AND NO LASHES FELL OFF. Other places I have been to, I usually have a few lash casualties the next morning. But not from AMY. Seriously, I think her jamming the extensions into my eyelid is the magic. First time getting lashes done. I got a Groupon for Harbor Lashes. Made my appointment and went in. I paid an extra $20 to upgrade to the mink lashes. There were NO waivers to sign, nothing. Very unprofessional. Got my lashes done, throughout the appointment I kept feeling a burning from glue getting in my eyes. At one point my eyes were really watering so the technician just told me to keep my eyes closed and turned the fan on to I guess dry the glue. When I was done I liked the lashes. My eyes felt a little weird I just thought I wasn't used to the lashes yet. Next day my eyes were pink and puffy, the following day I woke up to full on pink eye infection. I called Harbor Lashes to make an appointment to remove the lashes for the next day. Throughout the day it continues to get worse. I called out of work for the next few days since it's highly contagious and end up having to go to urgent care. I had to get ridiculously priced antibiotic eye drops. The doctor told me to wait a few days before removal to prevent more irritation to my eyes. I texted the Harbor Lash owner to let them know and stated that I would like a refund. They rudely refused a refund because it was a Groupon but also refused any refund of even the $20 I paid extra for the mink lashes. I'm really disappointed in this business. They obviously don't have very experienced technicians and aren't willing to be fair to customers. My advice, choose a more professional place. read more

I purchased a Groupon for a full set of individual lashes. Two options were cat eye look or natural look. I went with the natural look and they look great! There's only one woman who does the eyelashes and she did a great job. She was very patient and took her time. The entire lash application took one hour. You must sign a waiver prior to getting the service done. Be sure to read through it prior to signing. The Groupon is meant to be used only once for each customer which is reasonable. The owner was approachable and explained things clearly regarding the difference between the synthetic and mink lashes. Overall, good experience. Update: I followed all directions given: no water or shower for 24 hours. No mascara. No eye makeup. I even used a washcloth instead to wash around the eyes to avoid getting water on the lashes. But unfortunately the lashes still fell out the next day (at least 6) and more and more kept falling out each subsequent day. Not sure why since I avoided water contact and slept on my back to avoid sleeping on them. I don't know it was the glue not being strong enough or the natural secretion of oil on my lashes. But there's definitely no guarantee the extensions will stay on for one whole week for a short vacation. read more

Harbor lashes is definitely one of my new go-to spots! This place deserves some recognition after 2 of my visits! I somehow stumbled across their ad on Groupon for a full set of lashes +2 wk refill. The original cost would've been approx $200+ but with the deal it brought my total to $80, which was a steal! Normally, I'm not big on getting eyelash extensions, but I wanted to give it a try (this being my 4th time ever getting extensions done EVER). I contacted this place via phone to make an appointment, and they were very quick/responsive. I appreciate their schedule flexibility and was eager to have my lashes done here. For my first visit, I met Amy (my technician). She's by far the best person to trust with your extensions experience. I told her I was looking for natural looking lashes, similar to wearing falsies and she completely understood. I relied on her knowledge and skills to give me a great look! Amy told me that my Groupon voucher applied to synthetic lashes only (it would be $20 more for mink lashes), which I understood is softer and more quality lashes. Checking in on yelp gave me an extra $3 discount, so $17 extra for the Mink style. What stood out the most to me for Harbor lashes is that Amy took her sweet time to ensure that everything went well. Most places will finish within 45 mins to an hour but the lashes wouldn't last every long or use to much glue (which causes irritation/burning). This is the ONLY place that didn't cause a burning sensation to my eyes afterwards. Amy took approx 1 hr 20 each visit with me so far and I appreciated her dedication to this service. She's very personable and friendly, always trying to understand what the client wants and what makes them happy. I even noticed that she took the time out to work on both eyes, one after another (to check for any missed spots/gaps in lashes). I just completed my 2-week fill and am beyond pleased! Thank you so much, Amy! Overall, I'm extremely pleased to have found a new eyelash extension place just 15 mins from my house and will definitely refer this studio to friends. I wanted to get lash extensions for my graduation , but was skeptical because it was my first time. My friend found this place through their Groupon deal and the reviews looked great, so I took a chance with them. The environment there is very calming and relaxing. I found myself dozing off to the music in the background as Amy did my lashes. She finished in about an hour and at first the end result looked really nice. I followed the care procedure of keeping them completely dry for 24 hours. However, over the next couple of days my eyes were burning/irritated. At first I brushed it off because sometimes I have sensitive eyes. Then half of the lashes fell off on my right eye within the first 2-3 days - just the extensions not my natural lashes and unfortunately I was out of town. I still contacted them anyways because I was heading back, but they redirected me to get refills even though it wasn't even a full week since I got them done. I wasn't sure if I should go with them since the lashes fell off so fast, so I went to get refills at another place. After the refills at the other place, my eyes didn't have any burning/irritating sensation and so far they lasted longer. After talking to my friend, she said that this place had put too much glue if my eyes were burning/irritated. Overall, clean place and good Groupon deal. Great experience! I've been eyeing their Groupon for quite awhile now and I finally pulled the trigger and purchased it. Booking an appointment was easy. I messaged them on yelp asking if i can set up an appointment and they quickly confirmed with a day and time. They even sent a reminder a day before via text. I arrived today a few minutes early and signed a form and they offered to upgrade to mink for $20 which I opted in for. Amy was super sweet and asked me what I was looking for. I told her I wanted a dramatic cat eye look but she actually told me it wouldn't look good since I have small asian eyes so she recommended I go with the natural look. I haven't had eyelashes extensions for awhile so I went ahead and went with her recommendation. The session took about an hour and a half and the lashes came out great! They did a better job than the last corporate lash bar I went to. So glad they were able to work with my small asian lashes/eyes. After my session they were able to book my 2 week follow up. I have tried several lash extension places and most of them cause my eyes burn and inflammation because of the glue or the skill. I have to take a week break after each extension so that I can wear contact lens again otherwise my eyes hurt so much. Those bad experience had made me afraid to do extensions again. I saw my friend's lush and asked her if it is a extension or fake lush. She gave very high commend to this place so I decide to give it a try. Amy is so patient and sweet. She asked me about the shape and how I want the look before the extension and taught me how to take care of the lashes after. I feel cold during the extension and she got me blanket. When it is done, nothing uncomfortable but only a little bit of dryness of my eyes which is much better than before. When I got home the dryness has already disappeared and I put on my contact lens with no discomfort. The result is also amazing. Hopefully it can last long. I got lash extensions for the first time at Harbor Lashes and the experience was nothing but excellent. Bin was so chill and sweet even after i was experiencing difficulties with the voucher on yelp. Amy had the most gentle hands when working around my eyes. Naturally i get antsy when im in the same position for an extended amount of time and was getting antsy the last 30 mins of the experience. However, the results made it 100% worth the wait.
