But both are good sources. On the other hand, this Ace Hardware doesn't always have what I want, the pricing is at least 10-15% higher, the selection is not as good.... BUT- yeah, you knew there was a but... I have to say that the people(family?) that work here are incredible!! Helpful, go out of their way to make sure you find what you need (without being obnoxious), offer suggestions, laugh and smile. These are real people doing good work in a meaningful way. Not sure how you feel about that but to me, I'd rather reward people like that and not some corporate giant. Plus, Ace is 4 minutes away and easy to get to with parking at the door. Lowe's and Home Depot are 20+ minutes away- easy choice. Five stars!!

My previous place had a pet spa, and now I'm left to my own devices! I'd rather not bathe the pup in house, THEN have to clean the bathroom. So I was happy to find out about the pet cleaning station at the Rincon location. We walked in early, about 8am on a Friday, and were greeted by Terry. He was so helpful! We went to the back to wash the pup, and another employee, I didn't catch her name, was equally helpful! The cleaning station wasn't cleaned from whomever used it heftier. But it wasn't in terrible shape (I've experienced much worse pet cleaning stations). I LOVE that there are towels, pet soaps, pet dry stations for large and small pets, and a pet shower station with SEVERAL nosel options. Something I didn't think I needed when giving my dog a bath. The drying station for large dogs is next to an open outlet, what was a bit concerning to me, and the apparatus for my dog to sit in was a bit wobbly, but we made due. We paid $9.99 and we will DEFINITELY be back!

Meanwhile, I am still sitting behind the person who was allowed to cut in line. By the time I made it to the register everyone that was behind me had already checked out. People that weren't even initially in line were already checked out before I made it to the register to begin checking out. It's obvious that they do not know how to handle being busy. First off the pulley on the snake was to small and not turning the drum. So I called and got permission from Earl to get a larger one to put on it, so i did. Then when I got about 15' into the snake the snake itself had been twisted and knotted to the point it wouldn't pull out or retract. Had to put the little bit that was out in a box to return it. Now when I went to return it there was a second old man who accused me of not knowing what I was doing. I'm a professional handyman and have worked for Ace Hardware for over 10 years. And I've never had a problem with the ones at "The HD" This man should have kept his big mouth shut cause he's the reason this review should be a "0 " . He's rude and needs to maintain his equipment instead of accusing his customers of not knowing how to use something that's not been serviced or maintained. He needs to check his attitude or just stay home. If you are that miserable in your job you should find another line of work that doesn't include enter-action with the general public. Will never use this place again. Would drive to Statesboro before I did.
