I appreciate that Lowes gives a discount to veterans, however, every time I try using it I get hassled.. I have a lowes card and it states I am a vet.I used to have them say, need to see your VA id so I bring it in with me. Today I bring it in and I am told it must be my drivers license which does not say a thing about my status.. Then It is all self check but a young girl comes over to help. We finishing up, we pay, she's gone, we get no paper receipt and no email receipt when we get home.. Why can't these stores go back to providing customer service... Lowe's, you can do better! Service personnel almost refused our order, because they were not familiar with the brand I wanted to order. Then I find out that the military discount they offer no longer applies to appliances. Then the day of delivery that I took off, they call and tell me that they forgot to place half of my order, and they will deliver another day. I'm not getting my moneys worth here. I have been coming to Lowe's now for about 4 months now. Between garden items and random things....they've been yanking money out my pockets WEEKLY. Lol I must say that everytime I have gone there ...I've experienced thee most gratifying customer service. Everyone I encounter is sooo helpful; going above and beyond to help me out. Today, I had the pleasure of speaking with Micheal ( in appliances). Not only did he explain the various washing machines we looked at, but he was able to tell me about how they operated. I know...I know....this is what is 'expected' of the employees, but he did everything with a smile, knowledgeably, and with jokes! Two days later my washer is still not connected. The contract company Lowes is using has poor service delivery and communication. The delivery person left the washer hose on my front porch like he's a door dash or Uber driver. He even took a screenshot that went to the company. I learned this after I called the company to find out where they were, after they called an hour before to say they were ten minutes out, and when they got to the gate I provided the code. I waited for someone to knock on the door to complete the setup and that never happened. This contractor company makes Lowes look really bad, and I will never purchase appliances from them with delivery ever again! Still waiting!!! read more

I ordered a 5.0 amp saw online for pickup. Understand there are lack of employees these days but for the ones who do come into work, have a polite personality. The shopping experience starts there and then act like u r interested in solving the issue. Not felt as if u a push aside. It all comes down to me going to find the item, cancel the pickup order to bypass all the attitude and purchase it ! The other problem is it seems difficult for anyone working there to help you. I can roam around for minutes or hours and not one employee ask to assistant me. It's difficult to get anyone to stop to help. They need to work on customer service there!! read more

Have been trying to get someone on the phone from this business the whole day but no one answers the phone when forwarded to an associate. The wait message is annoyingly repetitive, and after about 10 cycles automatically hangs up. This is in reference to an oven purchased by my elderly mother in March. Here we are 5 months later with no oven, and an unresponsive vendor. I understand businesses are struggling, but follow up should be a priority when dealing with an order like this. read more

Yep... It's Lowe's. This one has a great variety and good customer service. I would give it 5 stars, but out of going here about 4 dozen times in the past year only once have they had a regular cash register manned. They usually opt to have the Self-Service check out aisles going. These are they worst out of any store out there. The Self Service check out computer speaker SCREAMS at you at a disturbing hearing loss level and the "WAIT PLEASE PLACE THE ITEM BACK IN THE BAG" and you have to wait for a employee intervention to continue your last impression of this enjoyable experience. NOTE to LOWE's wake up and stop being so cheap and put some humans at the cash registers. You might actually gain the locals respect by respecting them. Terrible service here. It took 45 minutes to find my online order and then when I finally did get it I wanted to buy an additional 2 boards (4x4 pressure treated) and was told they were out of stock. When I return home less than an hour later, I look online and the Lowe's.com website says they have 58 in stock. Guess I'll drive the extra miles to go to Home Depot in Pooler from now on. read more

Here lately every time I come in they say that they have the items in stock that I need, and they do not. They cannot even find them. I am always told that the Pooler store has it. Bought a washer and dryer in November and had to spend countless hours on the phone finally getting them delivered weeks after promised. We again made the mistake of ordering from this location. We ordered closet inserts and a drawer was missing. Not that big of a deal except they charged us for it and we were never contacted about when it would be delivered. 3 weeks later I got someone on the phone after again spending countless hours and I am not exaggerating, countless hours getting the order cancelled. They also had no problem charging the full delivery charge on top of not giving me the complete order. If I had not called so many times I have no doubt I would still be waiting for the water, dryer, and drawer. This store has ZERO communication with its customers. I ended up going to the Pooler location and picking up the drawers myself. I hate to do it but the Lowes card is going in the trash and I'm going with Home Depot. read more

MAJOR HOME RENOVATION DISASTER! Delivery driver crushed screen sliders track on garage threshold with pallet jack loaded with tile. Lowe's hired Adams Doors & More to do a major remodel on my home. After the first set (1 of 5) of subcontractors for Adams Doors & More, laid the tile in off set pattern instead of straight line (as I had ask) they did not lay a membrane. Same crew installed whirlpool tub with no stringer around tub or a dedicated circuit for pump and heater. IT WAS WIRED TO MY SMOKE DETECTORS! They did not follow American Standards installation instructions therefor voiding warranty. We have been displaced from our home since 3/13/17 to current date. My complaints have fallen on deaf ears starting at Store manager Mark E. Edwards, and corporate office Kennith Nickerson. I had request a different contractor to do the 2nd floor job and was told NO. Mr. Nickerson says new contractor can replace the 35-40 tiles (third time for most of these tiles). We are making payments and we can't live in our house. I have over 90 pictures of a poorly done job. read more

I would give a zero star rating if I could. The assistant managers and even the store manager Mark have no idea what customer service is! I had an issue that has now gone over 2 months without being resolved. They will acknowledge your problems, give you empty promises on helping you, then never do a damn thing to help to reslove the situation. I even went in the store today to speak with the store manager Mark and was told he was too busy to speak with me by an assistant manager Melissa! Lowes in Rincon GA is THE SINGLE WORST store of any retail business I have ever been to in my entire life. Save yourself months of headaches that the store manager doesnt even care to fix and shop elsewhere. I will be contacting corporate to inform them of this inexcuseable treatment of a customer. read more

Moved to the area in late March, so I've been to this location a lot over the past few months. This place is great in most areas, knowledgeable staff, friendly and willing to help. Love the fact that they honor our military, even giving them a 10% discount. The one complaint I have is they never have enough registers open, even though plenty of workers walk past a line of of 3 or four people waiting to pay. I've seem some comments about them having self serve registers, but they haven't had them since I've been here. read more

First of all i don't work for lowe's nor have any family that does.I have been going to lowe's in rincon for about two years now and have NEVER had to wait for staff at a register. I have spent sooo much money at this store because of their service.Thats right service. They help me with so many different projects its crazy.Sometimes i go in for advice alone..lol and end up buying something. If i have a problem with any item..they fix it. No questions asked. My point is i need lowe's. Thats right with all The different items they carry and the service they offer everyone needs lowe's.
