Here's a suggested corporate communication to the employees of Northern Tool …read more.. Dear Employees, while we depend on our valued customers to shop with us throughout the year, they depend on us to provide an even greater level of service when disaster is imminent. Hurricane season presents an opportunity to demonstrate how much we appreciate the loyalty of our customers to purchase our products. When these loyal customers are seeking service and/or parts to storm related recovery equipment such as generators and water pumps we need to be ready to respond without delay. Online orders will be processed with a simple additional question; "is this a time critical parts order?" If so, we will schedule our distribution centers with sufficient staff to process, package and ship all in stock orders within 24 hours of order placement. It's the least we can do to help our customers when the need is critical. Thank you for caring. To Northern Tool management; pull the audio from the two "recorded" conversations I had with your CSRs just days before Hurricane Dorian threatened the Florida east coast. Paid for next day FEDEX shipping and have still not even been able to determine if order has been processed.
