They are rude when asking for assistance. When at check out they remind you several times when your membership is to expire, however do not give you coupon prices for items unless you pull up each and every coupon on your phone. They don't even offer or do friendly reminders of items with sale prices. All of the other Harbor Freight stores don't even ask for coupons, they automatically do it to give you the best experience possible and they are always willing to assist. Not this one. Ever since this fine store opened, it has been my "go-to" location for construction/household incidentals, especially because it is close to my home. Pre-COVID, I regularly parked my bicycle (first my Doublevision, now that I've "aged out", my eBikeKit-assisted CruzBike) outside the front entrance. One huge incentive was the free flash light with every purchase. With the remode/addition of all-glass/automatic opening doors is truly wonderful. Probably the single greatest item(s) I have purchased and will continue to buy there are LIGHTS! Specifically, the triangular safety, head light, and 107-led flashlight, all of which I have installed upon my bicycles. I have little doubt that I'm still alive is due to other road users being alerted to my presence (at night) is because of VISIBILITY! THANK YOU! IGRACIAS! Another item I frequently use is the super glue, both liquid & gel. Many things are patched using this great stuff; that means less in the landfill. Another item is the 5-pack of split leather gloves. When I need to protect my hands from splinters/shards/sheet metal/etc., I'm always grateful for these gloves--its much better to tear the Gove than my skin! HF is an excellent source for lots of items that I constantly use with my many tasks around home or traveling abroad. HF definitely has my coveted "iWheel of Approval!" read more

Will I came to Harbor Freight Tools and was looking for a hose clamp pliers. There were two employees and he told me that it was in this aisle six. But so I went but couldn't find what I wanted. I asked the lady employee about the hose clamp she was rude she was talking to an employee and told me that I can find that in Walmart!! I was being nice but she was rude!!! 6:15p !!!! During this COVID epidemic going on HF was still open and also took measures to help customers while waiting in line. There were marking in the store 6ft apart to have customers wait in line and comply with current regulations. Staff is always super helpful and friendly, as always they had great deals and super coupons and they will also accept coupons from your phone. There are always great deals to take advantage of and great tools as well. read more

I have been coming to harbor freight for years. I have never been treated the way I was treated today. It felt very unwelcoming and cold the way the cashier treated me. It started my her unwelcoming manners as I started to put the items I was buying on her checkout shelf. After bagging up the first items she reached out her arm and told me here in a stern voice. When brought it up to her attention that it was pretty rude she rolled her eyes and said ok. Because she was frustrated she just put the receipt in my sisters hand and turned away. When my sister brought it to her attention that she was was being she just smirked and smiled at us. I expect better from the company. I will be in contact with the managers and will re-evaluate my review! In the mean time I will go get my future products from Northern Tools! read more

I had never heard of Harbor Freight until I moved to El Paso. I'm extremely glad I found this place. Every time I walk into the store, the smell of tools is the first thing I'm greeted with. They have all the tools needed for working on home improvement, auto mechanics, or just for small construction. My husband and I purchased our home surveillance system here and are very pleased with it. They have huge deals about once a month when they knock down the prices drastically. Their employees are very friendly and very knowledgeable with their inventory. The quality of their tools are excellent, and for a very affordable price. Try and catch their "Tent Sales" where they have even huger discounts. I believe every adult should visit this place at least once. read more

So I went there looking for a UV flashlight I saw in the ad. I was unable to locate it so I asked someone who looked like they were in charge. Middle aged woman vs all the high school / college kids that worked there. She said they don't carry a UV flashlight. I told her it was in the ad and she said well if we do, it'll be in the flashlight section and she pointed across the store. Now to be fair it was Black Friday weekend and they were a little busy but she made no effort to be helpful or even courteous. She assured me that they didn't carry it but I went and looked again. Sure enough I found it and made a point to go and show it to her. She kinda just blew me off. Aside from the customer service HF has a lot of good deals and worth checking out. read more

I was sent by my boss to this store and he only gave me the part numbers of the items he wanted me to buy for him, when I arrived I noticed an employee (a short, brunette young woman) walking through the aisles and I asked her how could I find those articles since I only had the part numbers written in a paper, I said "I do not know what these things are", and her answer was "me neither, you should ask someone else" and she turned around, I felt so upset that I was about to ask to speak with the manager in charge about her "helpful attitude" but there was a long line and I did not have much time, so I had to wander around the store until I finally found the items by myself. Great Prices and deals! Bad customer service. One cashier makes you want to second guess the time spent vs money saved.

You can find tools for a fraction of the cost. When I go there with my husband we end up spending quite a bit of time (& $) going through each isle. The only drawback is that the bathrooms are filthy. I wish they paid more attention to the cleanliness and the stocking of the bathrooms. I usually have to leave the store so I can take my little one elsewhere because the odor, urinated floors and having to ask for tp is just not acceptable. It is plainly a health hazard. read more
