The plant store is probably my least favorite plant store in the city, but I hope they continue to invest into this marketplace because I love the convenience and some of the really great vendors.

The crab cake absolutely lived up to its reputation--packed with large, sweet pieces of crab meat and very little filler. It was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly light. I finally understood why Maryland is so proud of its crab cakes. The Maryland Crab Soup was hearty and comforting, with plenty of vegetables and crab flavor. The Seafood Combo was generous and perfect for sharing after a long day of exploring the city. The restaurant was busy but well organized, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The atmosphere felt lively without being overwhelming. After lunch, we took a short walk to Fells Point and spent the afternoon exploring the neighborhood, which made it a perfect Baltimore experience. After we were seated, we waited an additional 25 minutes for someone to come and take drink orders. We didn't actually get the drinks for another 15. When the food arrived I was disappointed again. The crab cake was very bland and the mustard sauce didn't help much. The fries were decent. The calamari lacked flavor as well. The plate I left behind didn't look too much different than what you see in the photo. I also couldn't finish the drink - couldn't believe how BAD it was. It had the taste of an attempt at fruity medicine. The bad service continued when my aunt - who had to send her food back as it wasn't prepared her instructions and she has allergies - didn't get served again until it was time for us to ask for the bill. And it was still wrong. Needless to say, I will pass on this place every time I'm in Baltimore in the future.
