You won't run into Peter here, but you'll meet other delightful people -- locals and vacationers. Most of the time, it's closed, but on the rare occasion that you find this building open (usually a weekend evening during warmer weather), it's a bit of a delight. Owned and operated by the people who run Twin Shores next door, this little building has a tiny, crowded bar with one table, and several outdoor tables. The drinks here are the same as the drinks at Twin Shores. It's a perfect spot for an after dinner drink when you want to sit outside and breathe in the fresh lake air on a warm summer night.

They don't take reservations and we arrived around 5:30 on a Friday night. It was quite busy and we waited 5 min or so for a table. The patio was packed and we got a nice high table. I chose the breaded shrimp. It was heavily breaded. It came out nice and hot and tasted great with the cocktail sauce. There are lots of side options so I chose a baked potato and apple sauce with share with the granddaughter. She loved it. Good experience. Good food.

Inside it was clean, well lit and offered your typical rural, Wisconsin bar and grill feel. When we entered we were greeted and upon grabbing a seat, were able to quickly order an adult beverage. One thing I will say about their staff is they were all helpful and friendly throughout our visit. The menu offered a nice variety of appetizers and entrees. They had several specials listed for the evening. I had convinced myself to have a hamburger on this trip. I ordered a mushroom and Swiss; as did my dining partner. We also ordered some deep fried green beans. While both of our burgers tasted good and were cooked appropriately, we lamented the small portion of mushrooms on each of our burgers. The green beans were also good, but the order could have been a bit bigger for the price. Overall, it wasn't fancy but the food was good and the service was great. I'm sure we will try it again.

Try the cold strawberry soup, it's pleasantly unique and delicious. Their tuna is solid, not the best around but reliably good and always a good value. We arrived and open to door to a JAM PACKED BAR, we were not so sure at the beginning of this was the place. But one of the ladies followed us out and convinced us to stay. All of the staff is very friendly and they really have service down to a science. They take your order at the bar, and seat you and bring you your food when it's ready. Or closer to being ready. So that they don't clog up tables with people just waiting. Our server Brittany was AMAZING. Very kind, quick, and every time you asked for something she brought it right away, never missed anything or forgot anything. The restaurant dining area is smaller and cozy, but they are trying those tables as fast as they can. And the food is outstanding, great flavor. And large portions, you get a lot of extras too. Like the fritters which are kinda like a sugar doughnut. Would definitely recommend this place.
