The veterinarian and his assistants had provided great quality care for my dog. They were very…read morethorough with her check ups, vaccine shots, allergy injections, ear drops, and etc. What I love is how they would call me up the next day just to check on how my dog is doing or to ask if I have any questions. I would definitely recommend doggie and cat parents to bring their pet to Honolulu Pet Clinic!

Updated review on top of another 5 star review…read more 1. Patty at the front desk is so kind and she completely understood how I needed just a bit more reassurance over my fur baby's procedure. She also helped me find alternative finance options. Which I love. I just had a baby and having my dog have a tooth accident that required a trip to the emergency on top of a visit to Dr. Hsu was not in the cards.. BUT my fur baby is just as loved and he means just as much so vet app it is. 2. Dr. Hsu.. you can totally feel and hear the knowledge he gives out. He won't sugar coat the seriousness but also somehow still keep things light.. not to mention the after hours Dr. line STILL is a thing. I honestly am so appreciative of Dr. Hsu and his ability to make sense of what I'm worried about. As an over thinker, he helps rationalize. He even considers what you have going on in life.. he doesn't shove down a vaccine just to collect payment. I am so thankful for his care. He genuinely is the best and most will be missed by us when we move but our dog will ALWAYS go here upon ever returning. I will ALWAYS recommend.

From start to finish, this place was amazing. It's clear they genuinely care about the health and…read morewell-being of their animal patients. I called in with an emergency, and they were accommodating enough to take me in right away, which I really appreciated. As soon as I got out of my Uber, they opened the automatic door and immediately took my cat in. I ended up spending the entire day there, which was fine--my cat requires a lot of patience due to trauma he experienced before I adopted him, and they handled him with care. The only area that could use some improvement is communication between staff. I did have to repeat my concerns a few times. Their services are on the higher end price-wise, but if you truly love your pet, it's worth paying a little extra for that level of care.

They offered a second option of a bit over $2,000 where we would be able to take him home sooner and watch for symptoms/improvement, which we decided to take considering it was a holiday weekend and our regular vet wasn't open. We had to pay upfront, which I understand to be common with vet emergencies, but they were still pushy and tried to sell us pet insurance. The medication they prescribed seemed to somewhat help, but we ended having to have him stay over 2 weeks at his regular vet, where they had to monitor him. Their treatment cost was only just under $2,000 for the entire 2 week stay. Turns out all he needed was a diet change. No major interventions, unlike what VERC had insisted. Our regular vet asked if VERC performed a urinalysis (as they said they should have done before making any moves). We realized they hadn't. I think VERC is obviously a spot to go in desperation, but I would not return. I understand it's a business at the end of the day, but their practices made us uncomfortable. It's clearly a profitable business to get into. No wonder so many vets keep opening up around Oahu. Will remain wary and won't be returning to this one.

They quoted a $3,500-$4,000.00 estimate. That was unaffordable as I had already paid them $1,300.00 for an ultrasound & other services. Dr. Z & the staff @ Aloha Affordable Vet were wonderful & quickly offered their services @ an affordable price!!! As they were booked till the 22nd, they checked w/their sister clinic, North Shore Vet Clinic. They were able to do the teeth extractions on Monday. This was a Friday when I took her in. Dr. Kelly & her staff were also wonderful! The day after her surgery she was eating. She is now fully recovered! I am so grateful to Aloha Affordable & North Shore Vet Clinics for their care of Kili. They really care about you & your pet!

I'm extremely picky when it comes to find a doctor for my dog since she's a daughter to me. She's been having really bad allergies and I needed to schedule an appointment asap. Their earliest appt wasn't until the week after but it was ok. For a busy clinic, you would expect longer appointment times. My dog is extremely energetic when seeing other dogs, so we checked in & requested if we could wait in the car until it was her turn to be seen. We came a little early for our appointment and were seen about 5 min before our scheduled appointment time. They quickly took her weight in the waiting room and sent us in our own private room. Dr. Z was very informative and answered all our questions. She had a sincere connection with our dog and she gave us multiple options with treatment. She was very genuine and loves what she does. She wasn't trying to "upsell" us or anything but gave us affordable options to try first before jumping into more expensive treatments. The staff and everyone there was so friendly and my dog felt really safe and happy to be there. I highly recommend this clinic and will be coming back with my other dogs for future appointments
