I'm a big fan of Hap's. It's a family affair, as some might know, and that family atmosphere extends to customers, as well. I've been having my BMW serviced here for the past year. Every time I've been in, the experience has been fun and laid back. I get to hang out with the employees or other customers as the bike gets worked on. Sara is super helpful, Bob always has time to talk bikes and bike stuff, and Lana--probably the busiest person there--is very effective at what she does. She was able to have BMW cover a service recently so there was zero out-of-pocket for me. And if you haven't seen it, please walk through the upstairs museum of family motorcycles. There's likely one that you rode or owned and many will bring back great memories. Definitely highly recommended! read more

Passing two other options it's a great place to go. nowhere is going to be perfect but when you're told the truth and they own up to their mistakes and make it right. That's worth the drive for me. Evan and Steve were great sales representatives! As a beginner rider they were very accommodating to help find everything I need.

I went there to meet a friend who placed a deposit on a bike and one of the sales persons on the floor made inappropriate jokes toward us. It was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Having friends and family that are gay , I also found it very offensive and it made the environment very hostile. I would not recommend this business and this employee should be terminated for his homophobic remarks !!!! read more

If you have a minute please read this before bringing your bike to Haps. I was referred by the owner of Haps. I layed my cbr 600 down with some cosmetic damage on the left side, I supplied them with brand new fairings nuts bolts brand new sprockets abs a rear taillight. Guess they did not like that because they kept calling trying to get me to order new parts from them with the prices way out of range when everything was supplied. Well a month goes by and they call telling me they need to "order more nuts and bolts" whatever. So another two weeks go by and I'm loosing my patience as my bike just sits in the shop. I call and actually have to lie saying I'm moving to Texas I need my bike in the next week. Well 3 days go by after me constantly hounding them and they finally are done. Then when I get it back 1000 dollars later mind you I supplied everything to them my mirror isn't even assembled properly on "missing a nut" and my speedometer now does not work. You got to be kidding me!!! The tech Kinny says someone miss placed the sensor in it!!!! that he will order a part in to fix it cost free to call a week later. JJ now answers the phone says he would have him call me back no call back, and now two weeks later my speedometer still does not work for whatever reason and it's still not fixed after I paid 1000$ to have my bike fixed. I wouldn't even bother with these people! Horrible service guys!! Also I forgot to mention the damage on my brand new farings!!!!!! read more

If you're looking for BMX gear, this is your place. Matt is super knowledgeable and helpful. They have a better selection of kids bmx gear than anywhere I've seen south of tampa. Bikes, racing suits, helmets, pads, gloves they've got it at a reasonable price too! They even have their own line of gear they are perfecting for the little bmx'ers! I had a house fire in April and my bike was trashed. I previously had nothing but great service and help from Hap's, so when my insurance adjuster asked where I wanted to have it fixed...it was there. I just got my bike back on 7/8. It ran, but had a lot of cosmetic damage. After being put through the ringer with the loss of my house, the insurance companies, and predatory cleaners...it really hurt to have Hap's idle delays & excuses. i brought and old bike in that didnt run, i have good basic mechanical skills, couldnt fix cause it was something you cant test on an ohm meter. they said give us a couple a days to look at it . few days later i get a mess, will let you know some thing next thurs. thur no mess nothing. two weeks go by no calls. i call them after three weeks, mind you if wasnt something magor like a blown engine, the bike has maybe 60,000 miles. i they say we think its a bad ignition coil, previously i had the coil tested it checked ok. then i drive to their shop to find out why its taking this long, its a bad coil. i told him i tested it at his shop and said it was ok. mechanic " oh well now the machine says its bad. i say ok. he says he'll look for a part. granted you cant find new oem parts for old bikes but there are tons of places online for after market.. he says call you by the end of the day. no call. next day 3pm oh ah got news it wasnt the coil,? it the was the timing box i got a used one here can have it fixed in a half hour. needless to say it was obvious that the bike had been just sitting there forgotten, should have taken a few days. they had the parts. very poor communication, poor cust service. not happy with the escuses. i been buying parts there for years, not sure i'd come back for service. shame on you. be better tommorow haps cycle. read more

What a great dealership, took our 33 year old Honda scooter in for clutch service. Really friendly, down to earth family owned business. Excellent mechanic, very fair prices. We drove 130 miles each way to this dealership and we were not disappointed. They are well worth the trip. Very knowledgeable people, who do great conscientious work, at very fair prices. We will be back to them whenever we need something for our Honda. They are far better than other dealerships closer to us. read more

Great Family run business. Friendly, knowledgeable, no pressure sales. The day I bought my bike their internet connection was down, disconnecting them from all the apps the use to service a loan, do title / tag transfers etc. Everybody pitched in and worked through everything by hand. Everybody was so helpful to be able to deliver the bike when they promised. As a bonus Alice walked through my bike AND car insurance with me and got me much better coverage with lower deductibles. read more

They must be paying or giving incentives for these good reviews. They have literally had my friend's trike for over18 months and it's still not fixed. I understand that they had to change the motor out twice, but that was done within the first 6 months. Since that time it's been one lie after the other. They've told him at least 3 times it would be ready in a week or a few days, then all of a sudden they have to order another part. Then they go months without communicating at all. They even used the excuse that only one guy works on it and he's been out sick. It's been at least a month that he last talked to them and was told they're still waiting on a part that they ordered three months ago! Most of the time they won't even answer the phone with my friend calls. I believe they know his number and don't answer on purpose. I'm writing this review because my friend is too kind and is allowing them to take advantage of him. This is absolutely asinine and unacceptable! Get his bike done or have the decency to tell him you can't fix it. I really wanted to give a zero rating! read more
