This is a vegetarian pizza with light black olives! In my opinion it's light everything except for the crust....this is a deep dish which is typically amazing.. This dough was hard, burnt, and the middle dough had zero bounce. Terrible pizza! The other deep dish we ordered was also burnt and my kids did not finish one piece and usually they can eat 2-3. The pizza is torn apart because I tried to serve pieces that were not burnt! Impossible task! Personally this is my second terrible experience at the chesterfield location. I was just delivered take out from here, I ordered a cod dinner which came with the fish overcooked. I was disappointed but gonna try it until I saw my fries had baked on what I think is barbecue sauce, I checked with my family and there fries were the same but they had barbecue chicken nuggets. I'm like how does your barbecue get all over all the burnt fries cause I had cod dinner no barbecue. So I call happys they request a picture to he says just let him see how it got on there cause he can't figure out how that could happen. Np on phone he gives me his cell number and I text him the photo he immediately started arguing that there wasn't that much sauce on the fries, and they weren't that over cooked. I'm sorry but I didn't know I had to order my fries with no barbecue on them and apparently asking them to not burn any is a necessary request you must make when ordering. I won't be anytime ever again but I suggest yall make sure you follow their rules so you actually can receive your food as described on their menu not as they feel like making it when you call. read more

I ordered a pizza from the Gratiot store, north of 23 Mile. I walked in and the place was filthy; floors filthy with stuff all over them, counter was filthy and greasy. There were 4 empty pizza boxes on the floor when I walked in, and I picked them up and put them on the counter. The middle eastern girl working behind the counter saw me do it and didn't say anything. She is lazy and disinterested. Is also the same one who took my order. Name on the ticket is Okar or Omar. Why didn't she pick up the boxes? I picked up the pizza and it didn't smell right in the car. Smelled spoiled. I thought maybe it was the peppers or olives on the pizza. I should have known something was fishy, because I ordered the pizza just before 6 PM, and my ticket number was 10. So, they only had 9 other orders before me for the entire day. Now I know why. Two of us at home each had 2 pieces of pizza and were violently sick within an hour. Food poisoning. Violently sick all night. Not even able to keep down water, so were severely dehydrated. I called the place the next day, just after noon, and the lazy, disinterested middle eastern girl answered the phone. It sounded like I woke her up. I explained the situation, and told her I would be returning the uneaten pizza and wanted a refund. She said she only works there and doesn't know what is going on, so had to put me on hold an call her manager. After about 5 minutes, she comes back and says they don't offer refunds, and she doesn't know who made the order, but they will make me another pizza. I explained to her that it doesn't matter who made the order, because food poisoning is caused by bacteria, which means the kitchen is not clean and the food is not properly stored at the right temperature. I asked her why she thought I would let them make me more food when I got violently sick from the food they made me because the place is filthy. She said we don't give refunds, so there is nothing she can do. I told her I'd be writing a review detailing what happened, and that I would be calling the Macomb County Health Department. So was cut off by the delivery driver on Sunday around 10:00 pm, he turned off of North Ave on to 23 mile, He had a red light and did not stop just turned right in front of my wife. When I called the store to let the manager know I was told NO Manager was on duty. So told the person on the phone that their driver cut us off and ran a red light. He told be that he was the only driver working. I then followed the car to the Happy Pizza at 23 and Gratiot. Called back and a new person answered the phone stating he was the manager again stating they did not have driver with a white car. and there were 2 in front of the store. When I told him what happened, he told me to mind my own business. Then he put on the phone with someone else, who I found out was the driver. The website says the burgers come on a toasted brioche bun. What I got was most definitely not a brioche bun and was so soggy it practically dissolved in my hand. Yesterday, I would have given Happy's Pizza in Chesterfield 4 stars. I ordered a Cajun Catfish Meal for my daughter. The fish did not have any seasoning, but the fries had too much Cajun seasoning. She tried to eat them, but they were so salty and overly seasoned she couldn't do it. I called to let them know about the problems with the meal. They took my name and said that they would take care of it the next time that I came in. My daughter wanted to go and pick up the meal today since she was going back to that area, so I called to let them know that I wanted to order the replacement meal; but, not to put the Cajun seasoning on it because she didn't want Cajun any more. Today they wanted to replace the fries only. I do not live around the corner. What about the inconvenience of having o spend money for gas to go back down there for something that they messed up and they do not want to replace it! I used to order meals for myself and my family from Happy's Pizza on Gratiot in Chesterfield all of the time. But, they just lost some regular customers. If they are going to be that cheap to not want to replace the meal that they messed up, that is fine. They can keep all of their fish and everything else. Happy's in Chesterfield was my "go-to" pizza place for the past few years, but that is going to change based on my experience on 3-4-18. I placed a phone order at 5:30 pm, requesting delivery & was told it will be 45 minutes. After an hour the pizza had not arrived & I called back to see what the problem was. The manager not once apologized over the phone, just kept making lame excuses. My pizza arrived cold at 7:00 pm, an hour and a half after I placed my order.
