We LOVED Happy's Pizza with the management they've had the last few years. They must have new ownership because the service and the food is not up to par. For starters, we recieved a tiny ranch for our 12 piece breadstick and when we asked for more they wanted to charge us $1.50 EACH, for a 1oz. While we were in there, a man walked in asking for the window deal and was told they couldn't ring it up so it couldn't be honored. Overall, extremely disappointed. We have no plans of going back. read more

Happy's Pizza - 1oz ranch with 12 piece breadstick - Chicken Wings Near Me - Chesterfield Township, Michigan

This is a vegetarian pizza with light black olives! In my opinion it's light everything except for the crust....this is a deep dish which is typically amazing.. This dough was hard, burnt, and the middle dough had zero bounce. Terrible pizza! The other deep dish we ordered was also burnt and my kids did not finish one piece and usually they can eat 2-3. The pizza is torn apart because I tried to serve pieces that were not burnt! Impossible task! Personally this is my second terrible experience at the chesterfield location. I did not call because last time I called It was a waste of my breath. Therefore I'm sharing for all :) read more

Great atmosphere and the food is amazing, customer service is top tier! Everyone is super nice and the place is super clean and chill

I was just delivered take out from here, I ordered a cod dinner which came with the fish overcooked. I was disappointed but gonna try it until I saw my fries had baked on what I think is barbecue sauce, I checked with my family and there fries were the same but they had barbecue chicken nuggets. I'm like how does your barbecue get all over all the burnt fries cause I had cod dinner no barbecue. So I call happys they request a picture to he says just let him see how it got on there cause he can't figure out how that could happen. Np on phone he gives me his cell number and I text him the photo he immediately started arguing that there wasn't that much sauce on the fries, and they weren't that over cooked. I'm sorry but I didn't know I had to order my fries with no barbecue on them and apparently asking them to not burn any is a necessary request you must make when ordering. I won't be anytime ever again but I suggest yall make sure you follow their rules so you actually can receive your food as described on their menu not as they feel like making it when you call. read more

BEST PIZZA EVERRRR. i seriously am obsessed with their BBQ chicken pizza and their stuffed cheese bread is even better. our family we don't even say "should we get pizza tonight" we say "should we get Happy's tonight" from what we can tell the staff is nice and service is always prompt. the delivery driver we usually get is really friendly too! read more

Food is usually really good I willl give them that. But my sub last night had literally smallest amount of stuff on it barely anything. The girl was wearing gloves but everytime she was coming up to the front touching everything wiping her hands on her butt and literally going back touching my food again was absolutely disgusting. It is really clean in here the owner definitely tries there best and it's unfortunate because the worker sucks. read more

Terrible pizza! It's always hit or miss with them so we gave up for awhile and ordered elsewhere. Gave them another try a month ago and it was good. Today's pizza is almost not edible. Floppy and greasy. Whn I called I was asked, "Well what do you expect me to do?" Most companies would offer a refund or replacement. Nope not this place. read more

Amazing customer service I met the owner he was a great guy I got the rib tips and tenders and when I tell you the rib tips were tender and the chicken tenders were juicy I'm not kidding I will definitely come back read more

I don't know why people are hating on this place. This food was delicious. I got tired of the jets and howies and little caesars. The pizza was excellent. Not too much sauce, perfect amount of cheese and the toppings were fresh. My only reason for 4 stars is because the crust was not the best. The salad was fresh, can't say too much about it. But I wanna come back and try some of the non pizza menu items! Looking forward to it. read more

VERY RACIST ESTABLISHMENT! I'm Very disappointed with this establishment. There was a young Arab woman who took the order, was extremely rude and aggressive. Ordered delivery but was given the wrong order! Requested a refund, and was given a hard time by both the cook and cashier! Thought it couldn't get any worse right? That's not even the half. They forced me to wait for the refund until "owner arrived". When he arrived, with the info-- He spoke in his native language. (he was already speaking English the entire time prior to though) Then turned towards me and began communicating in a very snobbish tone and demeanor. His cook continued to blur out racial remarks RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM, with no type of consequence whatsoever. The owner/manager yelled "F%*% YOU N!#%@ GET OUT OF MY STORE" I am highly dissatisfied with the service of this company, and WILL NEVER RETURN AGAIN! read more

Step 1 owners should have to take business lessons not just pay the franchise fee. Seems to correlate with each happys location. This particular one can't apartments every time has to call. Every other delivery service makes it here. The unprofessional mannerless manager here doesn't know his head from his ass. I got home from long day and ordered a pizza. Like $40 order of course. I jump in the shower and relax. I get out of the shower and these jerks are blowing up my cell phone over 30 phone calls while I'm showering at 11 pm.... Ringer off. What's the point of delivery if I have to walk out to the parking lot to get it..... why can't you figure out where an address is if that's your job.... You don't see Amazon or UPS sitting outside calling every person do you???? These jerks actually try to blame the customer for their incompetence. I've never ordered pizza from you now since and they didn't refund my money nor did they deliver me a pizza. This manager was actually arguing with me on the phone justifying his reason for not delivering and not being able to find an apartment countless times. Customer service is more important than price in my books. You most certainly lost a customer for good read more

My mother was in the hospital dying from her injuries in an accident. I hadn't eaten in three days and called for a delivery to the hospital they said they only delivered to hospital staff. Ordered from Uber eats. Pizza was not good, and it was ice cold. For a $20+ pizza, I don't think I could be more disappointed. Sauce wasn't good, very little toppings used...are they having supply chain issues? They should mention they are rationing their toppings in case of some sort of Purge like scenarios plays out in the near future. I tried two slices, the rest went straight into the dumpster. Save your taste buds the time and get a jacks frozen pizza from Meijer. read more

Never and I mean never order from this place. They're owned by a family with anger issues and the food is made with poor quality. I was blown away by what happened this weekend. I ordered a delivery at 11:40 pm and when he arrived at 12:30 am he beeps his horn a couple times!? When he came to the door I said "Did you just beep your horn?" He says "Yes I did" I said very politely "you cannot do that when you pull up to peoples homes. It's very rude especially at 12:30 at night!" Then he just said something in Arabic and walked away. A few minutes later there was a very loud knock at my door, I was startled and kind of scared! When I opened the door he held up the receipt and said that I shorted him and my immediate reaction was Omgosh I am so sorry!! Let me grab more cash!! But before I could finish the words "I'm sorry I didn't mean too....... And then before I could finish he looks at me with the most evil look I've ever seen on a person in my entire life ands rips up the receipt and drops it and walks away!!!!! Who does that?? I was so distraught after this altercation I didn't want to eat my food. And I really didn't mean to short him... I've ordered a delivery for a 12 inch steak and cheese sub, a banana pudding, and a side of yellow peppers before on many occasions and it's never came to $27....? This wasn't my first bad experience with this Happys Pizza location but, it was finally the cherry on top as to why I will never eat at this location again! And they really like to pick and choose when they answer the telephone. I used to really like Happy's Pizza but, it really speaks volumes of the corporation when they franchise to just anybody that's willing to pay a franchise fee regardless of the quality they bring to the table. read more

A terrible place to work/ eat at. Managers and owners barely speak English, smoke in the back room without opening any doors and employees get paid almost nothing. The food is average at best and the chicken is kept in a plastic bin full of water. If you want pizza or wings, just go somewhere else. read more

I ordered a pizza from the Gratiot store, north of 23 Mile. I walked in and the place was filthy; floors filthy with stuff all over them, counter was filthy and greasy. There were 4 empty pizza boxes on the floor when I walked in, and I picked them up and put them on the counter. The middle eastern girl working behind the counter saw me do it and didn't say anything. She is lazy and disinterested. Is also the same one who took my order. Name on the ticket is Okar or Omar. Why didn't she pick up the boxes? I picked up the pizza and it didn't smell right in the car. Smelled spoiled. I thought maybe it was the peppers or olives on the pizza. I should have known something was fishy, because I ordered the pizza just before 6 PM, and my ticket number was 10. So, they only had 9 other orders before me for the entire day. Now I know why. Two of us at home each had 2 pieces of pizza and were violently sick within an hour. Food poisoning. Violently sick all night. Not even able to keep down water, so were severely dehydrated. I called the place the next day, just after noon, and the lazy, disinterested middle eastern girl answered the phone. It sounded like I woke her up. I explained the situation, and told her I would be returning the uneaten pizza and wanted a refund. She said she only works there and doesn't know what is going on, so had to put me on hold an call her manager. After about 5 minutes, she comes back and says they don't offer refunds, and she doesn't know who made the order, but they will make me another pizza. I explained to her that it doesn't matter who made the order, because food poisoning is caused by bacteria, which means the kitchen is not clean and the food is not properly stored at the right temperature. I asked her why she thought I would let them make me more food when I got violently sick from the food they made me because the place is filthy. She said we don't give refunds, so there is nothing she can do. I told her I'd be writing a review detailing what happened, and that I would be calling the Macomb County Health Department. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE. They would not issue the refund, so I stopped the charge on my credit card. read more

I've buying this cold a$$ food for years now. Customers are truly an inconvenience for these people. No matter what you order usually get what they want to give you. Refuse to give you a refund!!!! Tiny chicken , burnt fries, wrong items on pizza , no hot sus , no napkins , forks .lol ,,, THIS PLACE IS JOKE ANYMORE !! Been buying from them Sense the early 90s in Detroit on morang. There prices go up twice a year , as well the Quality goes down twice year. Paid $15 for everything pizza. Everything they want to put on it !! lol. We've always had good service whether delivery or pickup from Happys and we love that we can (and we do) Order more than just pizza.

The website says the burgers come on a toasted brioche bun. What I got was most definitely not a brioche bun and was so soggy it practically dissolved in my hand. I also ordered 2 banana puddings and received only one. My cousin got their fried shrimp which he said tasted a little off, but he couldn't be sure if it was the shrimp or the breading. The only thing that prevents this from being a 1star experience is that the guy who delivered was polite and professional and my moms fish and chips was decent according to her. It is also my first time order so maybe it was an off day. read more

So was cut off by the delivery driver on Sunday around 10:00 pm, he turned off of North Ave on to 23 mile, He had a red light and did not stop just turned right in front of my wife. When I called the store to let the manager know I was told NO Manager was on duty. So told the person on the phone that their driver cut us off and ran a red light. He told be that he was the only driver working. I then followed the car to the Happy Pizza at 23 and Gratiot. Called back and a new person answered the phone stating he was the manager again stating they did not have driver with a white car. and there were 2 in front of the store. When I told him what happened, he told me to mind my own business. Then he put on the phone with someone else, who I found out was the driver. When I told that person what happened, he told me to F??? off and a few other NOT so nice words. People like this should not be in business and the way they deal with things will not be for long. read more

This is by far the worst pizza you will get in the area. This was my 3rd time trying. 2 times when they first opened and now. I am bewildered at how this place is still open. Pizza is one soggy mush of nothingness. When you have a bunch of 13 year old hungry boys eat half a slice and say this is terrible and throw it out, that is all you need to know. Never again. read more

I like their menu they have a nice selection. Prices could be a bit better, aswell as the pizza itself.

Every single time I order rib tips here I tell them no bbq sauce on my rib tips, and the dude never listens it's some bs

Yesterday, I would have given Happy's Pizza in Chesterfield 4 stars. I ordered a Cajun Catfish Meal for my daughter. The fish did not have any seasoning, but the fries had too much Cajun seasoning. She tried to eat them, but they were so salty and overly seasoned she couldn't do it. I called to let them know about the problems with the meal. They took my name and said that they would take care of it the next time that I came in. My daughter wanted to go and pick up the meal today since she was going back to that area, so I called to let them know that I wanted to order the replacement meal; but, not to put the Cajun seasoning on it because she didn't want Cajun any more. Today they wanted to replace the fries only. I do not live around the corner. What about the inconvenience of having o spend money for gas to go back down there for something that they messed up and they do not want to replace it! I used to order meals for myself and my family from Happy's Pizza on Gratiot in Chesterfield all of the time. But, they just lost some regular customers. If they are going to be that cheap to not want to replace the meal that they messed up, that is fine. They can keep all of their fish and everything else. If they do not value my business, I will go to a different Happy's Pizza. read more

Happy's in Chesterfield was my "go-to" pizza place for the past few years, but that is going to change based on my experience on 3-4-18. I placed a phone order at 5:30 pm, requesting delivery & was told it will be 45 minutes. After an hour the pizza had not arrived & I called back to see what the problem was. The manager not once apologized over the phone, just kept making lame excuses. My pizza arrived cold at 7:00 pm, an hour and a half after I placed my order. After giving them about $100 worth of business over the past week, I would've expected a bit more appreciation. read more

Great service, friendly employees and atmosphere. Amazing food at the cheapest prices.

This is our go to pizza place, since it's the only one that doesn't upset my wife's stomach. Crust is just right and plenty of toppings. The Buffalo wings are the best around since they're breaded and the sauce soaks into the breading. They're the closest to what I make at home. read more

Stopped in on a whim, have to say I was blown away at how tasty them pizza was. Honestly didn't expect that. Great service, very clean restaurant, good prices. Far better than the local little Caesars, hungry Howies, jets or Pizza Hut.
