I learned amoung profssional arborists, there is a spectrum of philosphy regarding the appropriate level of action to keep trees safe in residential areas. It quickly became obvious that Cascadia has a strong opinion to one side of that issue toward minimum intervention without disease or another issue. I began to explain my take on this and the Cascadia staff person became quite hostile and after just a few minutes hung up on me. I then chose to send a three-sentence e-mail to them, in which I stated that their hanging up on me did not match their website claim of being a friendly and professional business. I suggested they "think outside the box" and look at the many century old traditions of tree care historically in Japan for example. I included 4 photographs of examples of more extensive pruning than Cascadia endorses. (I lived there for many years and have worked professionally as a gardener myself) That was it until I found that they premptively chose to call my landlord (The Squamish Nation where I am privileged to be a guest tenant) and accused me of harassing them. So after one roughly five-minute phone call where they hung up on me and one three-sentence email which was profesional and business-like in tone, they vindictively and maliciously attempted to do harm to me personally by false charges against me to my landlord. Please do not give this company any business. There are many other options of arborist services which behave professionally.

They communicated well and re fair priced. We have a small lot that required hydro seeding I spoke to 3 companies, 2 of the 3 stated minimum charge $1000. We have less than 1000 sqft of grass their pricing is very fair. When you look at seeding, hydro seeding or turf?? My choice is easy hydroseed worked great.

Not good to say the least! Prior to their arrival, the…read moreowner phoned to discuss the job and explicitly stated they would set plywood down on the lawn to drive upon in order to reach the trees they were trimming so the truck would not damage the lawn. He said that this was to protect my lawn. They arrived and did not put down any plywood and made deep, long ruts across my front lawn. The owner, Jeff, came by during the job expressing concern about the guys decision to forgo the plywood and stated that he was hopeful that my lawn would 'bounce back'. It didn't. The grass died and the ruts are deep. A few weeks later I called him to discuss the damage and he said he would fix it. That he had a machine for fixing this issue. He showed up with a pitchfork and plumped up the ruts. He told me to call him again if that didn't fix the issue. It did not fix the damage. The ruts remained and the grass was dead so I called again to explain the the damage to my front lawn was still in need of repair. A few days later his wife showed up at my house with a wheelbarrow and rake, and stated that it was my fault for letting the guys park there. She added that, at the time of the job I didn't seem worried about it. I told her that I wasn't worried, because her husband, Jeff who is the owner of Lombardi Tree Services had acknowledged the lawn damage in person that day and said that he would fix it! They never fixed my lawn. I paid $1700 to have them trim some trees and ruin my front lawn. Obviously, I should not have paid my bill until they had fixed my lawn, but to be clear, I never thought he was going to pull a stunt like this. Horrible experience for me and I would not recommend using Lombardi Tree Services ever as their customer service is horrible and they have left me lawn severely damage's.

Along one side of the house, Medhi helped us revamp the walkway with new large-stone gravel and paving stone steps, and in the backyard, install new soil and a line of cedars. From quote to completion, Mehdi was professional, instructive on every step he was taking and on maintenance, and careful to ensure the work areas were clear for use / passage at the end of every day. We will be engaging more of his services this Spring and recommend him to family and friends!
