We absolutely LOVE his teachers, Ms. Hailey and Ms. Storm, and the way they love on my little guy. They pay attention to the little things and it's a blessing to not have to sit at work and worry if your kid is in good hands. My son started here when he was 13 months and then we moved to the Kid Ranch's San Marcos location when he was 18 months. I love how clean they keep the building and the classrooms, how they pray with my child before meals, the artwork they do each day and best of all the app they use to keep us parents in the communication loop. It makes my day to get a picture of my son over the app during my work day, watching him play during splash days. The teachers here are happy and strong role models for the kids. The administrative staff is always available for questions from me and my husband, both at drop off and pick up. We're going to deeply miss the Kyle location as we move to San Marcos but we're confident that whatever the future holds for Kid Ranch in Kyle, it will be a good one.

The child should have been removed from the daycare but when the director herself was addressing the notion of this child being removed from the daycare, I was told that she would have no where to go. While the gentle, loving gesture of not removing the child was a nice sentiment, a child keeping another child from breathing is DANGEROUS. THE CLASSMATE WAS NOT BREATHING. The problem was not addressed appropriately and that is why I would not suggest this daycare to anyone

My family and I had a horrific past couple of months at this daycare!…read more If your child is 2-2 1/2 I would not enroll at all!! My son has been in daycare since he was 6 months old with absolutely no problems until he came into this classroom. He started putting nonfood items into his mouth (though it is debatable whether he was actually "eating" or mouthing the objects- I have documentation of her saying he would spit it out more than once) He was ONLY exhibiting this behavior at daycare predominantly in the morning with this certain teacher. His father and I, babysitters, friends and extended family members did not see this behavior whatsoever. But, taking these accusations very seriously I took my son to his pediatrician and brought the concerns to her. We had his labs checked and his toxin levels in which he passed and they told me he did not have pica. Yet, daily reports from this teacher (his afternoon teacher only wrote him up ONCE for this behavior) & daily messages kept coming.. even when I expressed this was really stressing me out bc I couldn't do anything to help this behavior & I'm 36 weeks pregnant. This teacher even started following him around with a notebook & writing his every behavior down. (An OT said she was grossly unqualified to be doing so) I felt helpless that my son was doing this there but no where else. I couldn't get on to him to help. I was having to trust them.. which was hard but, I really wanted this to work. After they suggested to take him in for an evaluation for a disability/delay or sensory issue and telling me "it can be hard to hear your child needs a diagnosis", and fighting every fiber inside of me- I set up an assessment to get him evaluated. I was tired of feeling anxious every time I saw them pop up on my phone, I was tired of stressing & I was growing weary of my sons behavior when he was getting dropped off. He use to love going to school. He would run to his class!! Now he wanted his blankie and pacifier to walk in, or would hide behind me whenever he saw this woman. I should of listened to my instincts. He was evaluated by Any Baby Can on 4/25 (a service THEY recommended and then let me know they didn't really know what an evaluation was lol) by an occupational therapist and an early childhood interventionist. He was deemed a normal 2 year old with no diagnosis and no services needed. Ecstatic, I called to let the daycare know he was okay & they said it was a behavior that he has to gain attention from the teacher and advice they had given me to modify the behavior! I was then asked to get an evaluation at the daycare instead since he's better one on one and in small groups or at other places but not there. I told them that's not how this works, they found no disability, that if he had one then it would be present in every environment no matter who was around. This is strictly a behavior. That's when the assistant director said she didn't even know what an evaluation consisted of. I was very upset that I had obliged to everything they had asked, even against my better judgement. So upset in fact that I had to go to the hospital Monday with preterm contractions. On Wednesday, 4/27, I sent an email so I would have documentation of what was said- explaining in detail what an evaluation was, what was looked at, the findings, why it's a behavior that could be modified at the daycare and ways to approach it and that my husband and I are listening to the experts when it comes to our son. Only to receive a phone call 6 hours later to tell me that our son is being unenrolled effectively immediately due to me being unsatisfied with the care he was receiving and bc I wasn't taking the reports on him seriously. ARE YOU KIDDING?!? I did everything they asked of me!! Luckily I have great documentation of the harassment and discrimination given to my child and myself regarding this issue. There's so much more to this too, but this review is already way too long lol RUN FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT unless you want unqualified people telling you they know more than the ones with the degrees!!!

We went outside where the kids played and I was excited to see who he'd be with all day. Mind you, this was to be his first time ever being away from me. His teacher was young, and looked super uninterested in talking. She said hi with what I couldn't even consider a smile, and didn't say much to my son. At drop off his first day the morning teacher didn't say much either. She didn't really offer any assistance when I was trying to leave and my son was visibly scared and upset. This went on for the weeks he was there. I did not like the staff member who hung out with the kids until his teacher showed up. She said good morning and that's about it. Towards the end I think she could tell I was irritated and offered my son things to keep him occupied while I left. My overall feel was these "teachers" don't like being there. I did not like this environment. When The lighthouse opened we made the switch and it was night and day! My son was SO EXCITED for daycare because the staff is AMAZING! I got constant updates, I don't have to ask for his meals to be updated through the day, he was engaged, the teachers are engaged and happier. I would never suggest Stepping stone to anyone.

The gigabyte classroom and all their teachers including Ms Dorthy, Ms Jackie, Ms Kiana, and more, showed so much love toward Jackson immediately. They surprised us with crafts and daily photos. Every day, pick up and drop off was efficient and welcoming. The monthly cost is truly worth it for the value and time that each team member bring day after day. I cannot recommend this place enough. I know Jackson is still growing and may not remember these days but, as his parents, this place and staff will hold a deep place in our heart.

We know this now since we quit the Goddard School and started with another one about 3 miles away and have had a totally different experience. Just know that the Goddard School infant room is chaos. One of the ladies was always so flustered. Babies always, always, always crying. Bright florescent lights on constantly. Music playing all of the time. Babies just laying around on the floor. 5 month old babies "holding bottles" and "feeding" themselves. Babies in the cribs crying and not being soothed in any way. Pacifiers overused. Babies sitting looking at a mirror on the wall crying. No one ever looked happy there! Our baby was miserable and always red and swollen and voice was hoarse from crying all day. It was awful. We are so happy now that we are no longer there. My co-worker's baby had the exact same negative experience and I tried to push it out of my mind but...Trust your intuition! The Goddard School did not feel right and it was not right.

They are professional, warm, and always willing to provide additional guidance and support to us as new parents. The building and facilities feel safe, secure, and clean. This last year of global pandemic has presented the teachers and staff with so many unique challenges and they've navigated each one effectively and with grace. Deep down I know that these wonderful ladies do a much better job of taking care of my children all day than I could ever hope to do on my own. The curriculum always blows my mind and the best part is receiving photos of my kiddos throughout the day. My favorite photo was one of my son laying on the ground and painting a "fresco" onto some butcher paper taped to the bottom of a table. We are so impressed by the updates we get (the app this school uses updates in real time instead of getting a report at the end of the day like our last place); it has made all the difference in our night routines knowing that she had a tough time taking a nap at 2 instead of figuring it out at home at 630. We also have enjoyed the extras that are at Sunshine Cottage -- huge playgrounds with age appropriate equipment, bikes/trikes to work on motor skills, dress up bins and play areas in the classroom, and (our latest exciting update) a dance class from an outside studio that is sooo affordable!

Discovery Preschool teacher Ms. Ariel is wonderful. She's very patient and helped so much with potty training our kid. The previous Center Director Erica and Assistant Director Spencer were great and we choose this center based on first impressions from talking to them. However, a lot changed in the last couple of years with constant staff and management turnover that led to a severe lack of oversight at the facility. We made the difficult decision to leave due to this, but will always cherish the memories we made here and our son's first friends :)
