Their individually tailored physical exercise routines have greatly improved her coordination and physical strength. We absolutely love EHAT and feel SO lucky to have found them! We started our baby boy at 6 months old and he immediately fell in love with his teacher Miss Yaneth. I was so nervous as a first time mom going back to work and handing my baby over for the first time. I soon realized I had nothing to worry about, the entire team at EHAT is literally like family! My youngest child is enrolled at EHAT for his third year. We've had a wonderful experience. There is so much variety and activities included in the program you don't find elsewhere for both physical and academic development. This is our third private school with our oldest in public school. There is a night and day difference with EHAT. The owner is actively involved, enthusiastic and proud of her school. My child is greeted every morning with open arms and I can tell he's happy and comfortable here. He's learning a tremendous amount and always wants to learn more. Any concerns I voice are always taken seriously. All of the staff have been kind and helpful, I wouldn't want my child to go anywhere else. What a gem of a school. I have the utmost confidence that every staff member cares for the well being of all the kids who attend. The curriculum is wonderful - interactive, challenging, and fun. I am surprised at how many different activities they do to challenge them mentally and physically. They pay special attention to indiviual needs, habits, and personalities. It has taken me a long time to write this review because of the negative impact this school has had on my family. I highly DO NOT recommend you leave your child here. I enrolled my two children ages 3 years old and 3 months old in October of 2022. From the very beginning we had an awful experience. My 3 year old son would have art thrown away and would be told to start over if he colored outside of the lines. He would be punished for not sitting still in a chair. Upon pick up I would be asked to discuss his behavior of not listening, directly in front of my child. I was actually told "I am not saying he is a bad kid, but...." I asked how they respond to this behavior and was told, direct quote, "We tell the kids if they are going to act like a baby we will put them in the baby room." I then asked if they ever tell them how they should behave instead or have them role play positive responses and they had never considered that. I also asked how they approach social emotional learning and I was asked "What is that?" Around Valentine's day, around 4 months after he started, I requested a class list for Valentine's and told I could take a picture of the class list that was hanging in the room for emergencies. My son was still not on that list and still did not have a cubby in his classroom of his own at that time. It was like he was not even there. Heaven forbid there was a fire, he would not have been accounted for. His teacher was impatient and unkind to the children. My son reported that he was told a mean lion would eat the kids if they got too close to the outside fence. My son really disliked going to that school and still brings it up to this day, 3 years later, about his bad memories from it. My 3 month old daughter started there and they refused to record her diaper changes, bottle feedings, or naps throughout the day, even with direct requests. They would write down her last nap and bottle of the day in a notebook for me, but that was it. And even then, I question how accurate the information was. The teacher would pack all of her stuff up when I arrived and would then walk over to the notebook and write down the times she thought she remembered my daughter ate and slept. (Her teacher was kind and I do not question that she looked after my daughter.) However, there were too many red flags with other staff and operational procedures to look past. During activity time, they would sometimes bring the babies out to the inside play area and lay them on the floor. Directly on the floor. Where the older kids also spent time running around with shoes on.... I had to request they at least lay a blanket down for her to lay in if they are going to bring her out of there. While I appreciate the change of scenery for the babies, the health of my child was not taken into consideration. I had also requested that staff does not kiss my baby, especially on the face. This was also disregarded and I was told that is just how they show love. I am surprised this place has such great reviews. They do fun activities with the kids, but for such important developmental years they need more training on how to take care of and respond to children's needs more than just fine motor skills. I would recommend looking somewhere else for your child. read more

EHAT has been so great for our family. We moved here quickly last August, and I was nervous to start my toddler at a new school. We did a tour with Ms. Monica, and within minutes, we knew we wanted our daughter to go there. It's clear Ms. Monica has a heart for teaching little ones, and her love and joy surround the school. My daughter never smiled when I picked her up from her school in Dallas. She would run to me and cry or just be silent. I foolishly thought maybe that was normal and that she was just overwhelmed from her day. She still runs to me, but after a day at EHAT, she is so happy and smiley. She chats nonstop on our drive home, telling me all about her day. She loves her teachers, Ms. Julia and Mr. Diego. My mom went to pick her up one day, and she told my mom she needed 5 more minutes to play. We love EHAT and what it has done for our daughter! read more

We LOVE this school! Our son went here from the time he was three months old until his second birthday, which is when we moved out of state. We toured several daycare centers, and this one was the best by far: As soon as I saw kids singing, laughing, dancing, learning, and having a great time, I immediately knew it was the right place for us. Every day, our baby/toddler was excited to see his teachers and always had a smile on his face at pickup. Thanks to the fun songs, dancing, active play, and class learning activities, our little man gained so much confidence and continuously added new skills (like learning the colors, counting, naming animals, and much more). He frequently came home with unique crafts and was always so proud of them. And even though we're an English-speaking family, his first words were in Spanish ("mas" and "agua") and to this day, still speaks many words in Spanish! I also loved how EHAT was constantly updating their campus--from a new porch/deck to a big new playplace for the kiddos. The iterative updates show they really care about the kids and about making the environment as fun as possible. Oh, and you also get a daily report of activities, pictures, meals, snacks, diaper changes, and other details. I am forever grateful to Ms. Monica, Roy, and everyone else at EHAT for creating such an enriching experience for our son's formative years where he could learn, grow, thrive, and feel loved. We will miss this school immensely and hope to return to Austin and EHAT again someday! read more

Our little guy is finishing up his 4th year at EHAT... and every day we thank our lucky stars we found this school. I wish we could send him here for many more years (but he's ready for kindergarten). This is a wonderful family-run daycare and preschool that provided our son with love, care, and a solid early childhood education. I cannot say enough good things about this school. My 18 month old daughter went here for a few months and we just recently had to take her out due to changes in our jobs and schedules and it just did not work timing and driving wise. I was devastated that she was no longer going to be going to school there. From the first tour to the last day of school, Monica and the staff (especially Roy, Angy and Andrea) at EHAT were nothing but nice, kind, caring and all around wonderful to us and our daughter. The rooms are separated by age with a common eating and lobby area. The place always looked clean and well taken care of with plenty of toys and activities for all the children. The check in process is up to date and done with an ipad! They send you updates all day with photos of your child doing activities (I looooved the pictures!). They have a large outside play are and a smaller one inside the center (sounds weird but you'll see if you go check it out!) At first my daughter was very shy and cried almost every time I left her but after a few weeks she would walk in on her own and let Monica pick her up with no issues. If you are looking for a school that teaches but is also kind at the same time, look no further!! Just go take a look and see for yourself. You won't regret it! Also- I am a paranoid parent and checked the compliance history with the TX department of Health and Human services and was pleased to find no real issues (unlike some other centers I looked up). We love EHAT! I really cant recommend it enough. My 4 year old and 18 month old started here in June 2017. We would have started sooner but they didn't accommodate infants under 18 months until recently. My children who are both sensitive kids walked in the first day and never showed fear, anxiety or shed one tear. They must have sensed to positive vibes that I continue to love about this school. They just walked right in and began to play. I couldn't believe my eyes! There is also a strong emphasis on learning. My two year old comes home with new words or concepts everyday. Lessons are delivered in songs, games and creative explorations. Many schools claim this, but this is the first time I've seen it executed this well. Our children have spent time at INIC (one year) and AEBS (three years) and I highly recommend EHAT over these schools because of the owner and teachers - great to work with which sadly is a rarity with daycare owners. EHAT owners and teachers truly care about kids and their families. My four year old now goes to Pre-K during the day and EHAT for after school, but he would prefer EHAT full time because he enjoys it there so much. My son started preschool earlier this year at EHAT. There was hesitation as a mother who has spent every day with him since birth (he just turned 3). We were greeted by Mrs. Monica, the owner and felt there was a connection with our son as the other teachers. I'm amazed how quickly he has picked up the language and social skills in a class atmosphere. I love the fact that the teachers incorporate dancing and singing as part of their curriculum . This place is really amazing! The teachers are certified to teach toddlers and they really know what they are doing. They've even helped me with parenting concerns. I feel they really love each child and they hug all over them like they are their own kiddos. Monica, Angy and Roy teach the students to respect each other and themselves. My son comes home with new ways to help out and he treats his brother just a little bit nicer each day. :) As for the Spanish, they teach through play and singing. There are no flashcards here! My first encounter with Miss Monica the owner of the school was when my daughter was only 2 years old. I was so worried about starting a new job and leaving my daughter in full time day care. Miss Monica is so loving toward the children and soon alleviated all my fears. Ms. Monica and the staff at EHAT are the most wonderful, caring and supportive team. They are a second family for us! We have known them for years and trust them whole heartedly with the care of our children. We have one child in full time daycare at the school, and one child in after school care. Both kids love the school, their friends there, and especially the teachers! Both of our children are completely fluent in Spanish thanks to the excellent instruction (no Spanish is spoken at home). We are thrilled that our older child learned to read and write in Spanish with Ms. Monica, and is able to keep up her learning in the after school program. EHAT is truly a special place. My girls attended for the past few years and the director and staff became part of our family. Their loving, nurturing and communicative nature made us fall in love with their school. Our girls were always excited to go and most days we had a hard time getting them to leave. They thrived here. Their curriculum is playful yet structured, with song and dance as an integral part of their day. We are an English only speaking family and our 6 year old is now fluent  and our 4 year olds are on their way.  Our 6 year old excelled in kindergarten here and was more than prepared for 1st grade. I can not say enough about how wonderful EHAT has been for our family! Unfortunately we recently moved and had to say goodbye to our EHAT family. Our daughter has been attending Escuela Hispanoamericana de Texas and we love the school and the teachers. She has learned so much and is very confident in her Spanish-speaking skills. She is also skilled in math, writing, and spelling way ahead of schedule, which was a great surprise for us. She is learning 90% in Spanish so sometimes says her letters in Spanish instead of English but understands everything in both languages. The student-teacher ratio allows much one on one attention and work detail, which contributes to amount of knowledge she has learned. She enjoys going to school every day and really loves the playground in the huge backyard. Soccer Stars have done a weekly soccer class at EHAT and our daughter participated in that activity and loved it. Miss Monica is a caring and thoughtful teacher who believes in every student that walks in the door. The entire staff is wonderful and love their jobs, which is wonderful to see every day. read more
