It is impeccably clean, everything is in great condition, the set up is welcoming and engaging, and the space is just the right size so kids can explore independently but you can still keep a close eye on them! There was a good mix of toys, books, things to climb, and imagination-led play areas. The staff working was wonderful, helpful, and kind! I feel like I walked into a place that really cares for kids and their grown ups (coffee available for adults, yes, please!). Also, there were kids in a range of ages playing and having a good time so I know if we go back my LO would find new ways to explore and imagine! We went and the climbing area is super popular that's why there are rules posted for kids to wait their turn. Not the case happened multiple times when I was there (only and hour and a half) that kids were climbing while my kid was in the ball pit. The first time when I said the rules loudly the parent got the message but the second time I did so the grandparent of three larger older kids ignored what I said (I know she heard me and chose to ignore me). I told my son we were leaving. Note my 6 year old also found a spray bottle of sanitizer cleaner solution. Glad it was him and he asked me about it rather than a younger kid who could have ingested it. We will not be back :(

They said they'd bring it to the room, and they did, before I even sat down. Their tater tots are insane! LOL The pizza was good, and I especially appreciated that the slices were about 2.5 pieces to a normal big slice. It was perfect for the kids. I'm pretty sure we might have overstayed. We cleaning up and one of the staff came in and said "Oh, no, we'll do that" One tip. They have a really cool slide, but the inner tubes are crazy heavy. The littles need some help. It was nice that no matter where you chose to sit at it had a great view of the whole place so that the adults could visit at the tables and still have peace of mind and an eye on the kids the whole time. Staff were super friendly and helpful. SO many options for food which means we know exactly what we want to try next time. Only $10 per kid which actually was a pretty good deal considering all they can do while there. We stayed for about 3.5 hours. It started getting busier around 4:30 so if you can get there earlier I definitely recommend it.

We made a last minute reservation as we were driving from Milwaukie all the way to Hillsboro. Our original plans didn't work out but wanted to give my 16 month old a fun day anyway. From the second we walked in we were greeted with genuine enthusiasm for being there. I love the layout as I can watch him from anywhere. There was so much for him to do (even though he was at the train table 80% of the time!) and it was all SO cute! I don't know if we just got lucky, but every other parent/caretaker was extremely kind as well. Also, they give out a free toy and snack on the way out which definitely helped with the heartbreak of leaving. We will definitely be back a bazillion more times!

Kinda defeats the purpose of a playground if free play/running is not allowed. (The entire floor is nicely padded.) There weren't age-stratified playtimes listed, but they did have sensory-friendly times, which not all venues provide. It might not get all the kids' wiggles out if running isn't on the menu. The main play structure is great for preschool and young elementary ages, as is the short rock wall. There are other toys around to play with, but these have to be kept in the area away from the structure. I think I have a different idea of what a mixed-age playground can handle. As a mom of mixed-age kids, I don't think the running was disruptive or dangerous at all. But it's not my call, and we must abide by their rules if we want to play there. We ended up leaving after a short time to head to a park so the kids could run. Luckily the weather was accommodating.
