Kathy has done two dip manicures for me and both have been superb! She takes her time and really is meticulous with making everything perfect. She tested four different colors for me this last time to make sure the color I chose showed up the way I wanted. Also the salon is beautiful- no strong smells and comfy chairs!

Tried this place for the first time. I give 5 stars for how nice they are and the color selection. Peppermint pedicure was great and she did a nice job on my feet. But minus stars for the manicure. It was a guy who did it. Cuticles are not very clean. I also have ridges in my nails that other places even out but he didn't. Glad it's just regular color not gel do I can go get them redone. I'd try again only if the lady who did my feet dud my nails. Very different quality.

I've been going to Happy Nails for about 4 years now and I can't imagine going anywhere else. I've brought all my friends and family here over the years and they all agree that this salon is the best around. The owners, Van and Trina, along with their staff, are very talented and detail oriented. They always go out of their way to accommodate their clients which is super helpful- especially when I need a new set on a whim! Super consistent, I've never once left disappointed in all of 4 years! Also- I recommend the Milk & Honey pedicure, you won't regret getting it :)

I went here yesterday, 5/25 to get a little pampering done before my big 30th on 5/27. This was my first time here and the reason I went was because I received a gift certificate from a family for teacher appreciation week. I have finally found my new go-to place after two years of searching since moving from the Bay Area. I had made an appointment for when I got off of work and it was easy to do. First impression- the place is really clean and inviting Services done- full set and pedicure. Quality- AMAZING Cathy did both my pedicure and full set and she took her time. I got the milk and honey pedicure and a gel full set. I would definitely go back and have her do my next services.

Happy Nails is the ONLY place in the greater Sacramento area that I trust to do my nails! Van and Trina are amazing at what they do as well as the rest of the staff. I've had Van and Trina do my nails multiple times and I've had everyone else on staff do my toes at one point. I don't know who the hell said they "aren't proficient" and then bashed them based on their language skills, they must have left a review for the wrong place, there's no way! Also, they all speak perfectly fine and can have perfect conversations. My nails always come out beautifully and last a long time! Thanks Happy Nails!

PT 1 - came in to get my acrylics taken off. Anyone who's gotten acrylics before knows that nail salons usually leave your nails broken afterwards & roughly remove the acryl. It's the worst part about getting fake nails. Not here! She spent so much time making sure my nails didn't look like crap after leaving and was really careful/gentle with them. I mean my nails looked pretty nice after! The kind of service you feel good about tipping for. PT 2 - got my acrylics done by Kathy and she paid such attention to detail and stayed past closing to give me the best nails possible. they look so cute

My friend had told me this salon was open again (outdoors) and how great her experience was. After a miserable work week, I decided to call and see if they had any openings. I was able to make it in 30 minutes from fair oaks, get a full pedicure with time to spare before they closed at 7. The entire service was wonderful, as it has been a million years (or preCOVID) since I got a pedicure. I could have easily stayed in that chair forever with the amazing massage the owner gave, and will definetly be going back again, whether curbside or in the actual shop. It was well worth the drive, and I would highly recommend to anyone. Call ahead, just to be sure. There were only a few seats available out back where they are currently working from.

I made an appointment for 2 people @ 5:30 to get a pedicure. We arrived a few minutes early to make sure they didn't have to wait on us. We'll that was a mistake, they sat us both down and started with me, 20 minutes later they started with Kathleen. So I had to wait for them to finish with her. I had to ask to have my nails trimmed shorter then they didn't file them after. Don't waste your money or time. read more

I came to this place without appointment on a Thursday evening. They sat me right down and made my nails look beautiful! I was a first timer with acrylics and I just love my new nails. I also got a pedicure and that was also a great experience. The place is clean and the people are nice. They are also perfectionists, very detailed with their work. I called last minute hoping they could get me in, but not expecting to. I was very surprised they were able to see me and do exactly what I asked for. Great, clean place. Friendly people. I was cautious about switching over to a new nail salon but it was well worth it!! The environment is super clean and friendly. They are always able to find time to fit you in and take good care of you. It is a very warm and welcoming set up. The nails and pedicure tecs are amazing!!! Won't be back. Went in because it was a really convenient place and they took me right in. I had broken 3 nails while camping. I use nude color acrylic under my color and I told her this before she took off the polish.. She brings out clear to fill the ones with nude already and reapply the broken ones. I told her I use nude and I don't want 3 nails clear and my already nude nails filled with clear. She told me she doesn't have a nude color and she will need to use clear. After me saying no I don't want that again, she talked to the gentleman there and sure enough, he got the nude. Great. Then she flooded my cuticles and got it everywhere. Then, she didn't file them enough to correct all that. The ones she fixed, the shape and length were very off. They are longer than the rest and not a nice shape. Then she got the polish all over my cuticles. I picked a yellow and she told me she can't do the yellow over nude. I said just to do it and it turned out just fine. They just want to do what they want and not what you ask for. Won't be returning. They're cheaper and better places. read more

Let me tell you how excited I am I found this place! Not only can I walk here from my home, but they always have the day and time I want and their prices are the best you're gonna find in Granite Bay! My sister-in-law recommended this place, and I'm so glad I went here. My niece got a kid's mani/pedi, and I got the zen essence mani/pedi. My treatment was great. A bunch of people walked in at the end, and I didn't feel like they rushed me at all. Formerly Jolly Nails, they are now Happy nails with new ownership and newly remodeled interior. A huge facelift makeover! I like the new massage spa chairs - so comfortable and clean. They change the plastic liners in the spa before each service so I know it is sanitary and safe. This place is so close to my home and i enjoy coming here more often because the place is so much cleaner and they've kept most of their prices the same. They offer waxing and threading now. i would definitely recommend giving them a try. read more

I really wanted to like this place because it's conveniently located close to my home. However, after both visits, my gel manicure started to peel and chip within 1 week. I've been to other salons where my nail has grown out entirely without a single problem. Will not be visiting again. read more

Don't bother. I tried it twice this year. The last time we went, they started by insulting me and at the end, they did not give me what I asked for in extra tissue for my toes as they overlap and I didn't want them to smudge. Not very happy with the vibe in that place and will not go back. read more

My sis-in-law and I were desperate for a little pampering, so I made us a mani/pedi appointment yesterday at Happy Nails (our first in 6 months). We could not have been more pleased. We were set up outside and felt very safe - everything was clean, we were socially distanced and the staff all wore masks and used plexiglass. Kathy and Trina both did a great job, our nails are beautiful...it felt great (almost "normal") and we won't hesitate to go back! Highly recommend Happy Nails!! read more

I am never going to another nail salon! After a few attempts to others, I feel so happy I found Happy Nail! Van is the best! I love my natural looking nail that last over 2 weeks without any chipping even though My jobs requires me to wash and de germ my hands 50 times a day. Great work, great price! read more

This was my first visit and I was quite pleased Van did my gel fill and shaped my nails perfectly with a lot of color choices. Henry did my pedicure and they need a lot of TLC. I did not have to tell him how I like everything, he did all perfectly and was very gentle. This is my nail place. read more

I have been going to Happy Nails for awhile. I usually walk in when I have time. I have seen Amy for several of those visits. She does not pay attention to details. I had to ask her more than once if she did my cuticles when having a pedi. She mumbles yes..and I notice she did not. She hurries through the mani's and pedi's. I will call for my appointments in the future and I will make sure to get someone else! read more

Quan did my pedicure and she was absolutely amazing. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time -- even asking how I prefer my water temperature (warm or hot!), which I've honestly never been asked before. It's the little details like that that make such a difference. The massage during the pedicure was incredible and they didn't rush it -- I got the full time, which is rare these days. I had a bad experience at a different nail salon, so I have tried this place( my friends are recommended). The girl did such a great job. She checked in with me multiple times to make sure I was happy with everything. Everyone was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely be returning! read more
