Initially, I came here because my office was incredibly close, and then I continued because the service was excellent & I had my own tools. But a broken foot & later a broken ankle forced me off-schedule, now I wear tennis shoes too much, then my office moved, plus I live in Tampa.... blah, blah, blah, excuses. Over the past several years, I've tried a few other nail salons, mostly in Town & Country, with lackluster results. None were pleasant enough for me to consider when I (finally) decided I needed a pedicure for my trip to Vegas next weekend. After reading lots of reviews for other salons, I checked Happy Nails on Yelp & was delighted to see some of my fellow Yelpers have also discovered this gem! So, I realized I needed to just make the time to return here, where I know the service & quality is outstanding. And, I was especially pleased to be remembered, in spite of the MANY years since my last visit! It was painful (she chipped them off rather than filing them off as I had been used to in the past), but I didn't really think much of it. I went for a dip manicure a few days ago, and less than a week later it's already chipping. I like everything about happy nails except the pricing. All of the ladies are in pink uniforms which I think is great look. Most days the wait is very short today Thursday again after work short wait. My issue with happy nails is the pricing $40 for a fill in is expensive even if it's gel. A nail salon 3 miles from here the same service would cost me $25. Am I paying for the convenience of the location I guess. I asked how much is a full set the technician taking my money didn't know which is strange to me all she knew is that my technician said my nails were $40 I find that strange especially since there's no pricing on the walls. Again service is great I will come back in crunch time but not as a regular customer only because of the higher pricing which is almost double to me from what I can get further down the road. read more

I have been to this salon multiple times and have had only great experiences in the past, even on days where the salon is completely full and honestly overbooked. Last night, I had an appointment at 5:30 and was sat down for my gel polish to soak off. I was there for an hour with my nails wrapped in foil and acetone. 2 people walked in after me, around 6pm, and started their soak off as well. At 6:15, those 2 people then had their manicure started while I was still sitting soaking. At 6:30 I finally asked what was going on because another person walked in and was soaking off. I was told that I had to soak longer because I had gel. This is false as gel takes only minutes to soak off in acetone. I left at 6:30 because my fingers were burning from being wrapped in foil soaking in acetone for 1 hour. This was entirely unprofessional and honestly dangerous. If you do not have the bandwidth to take multiple clients, say no to the walk-in's and focus on the people who have the appointments. read more

I've been a client at Happy Nails for almost 4 years. The salon is very clean and well maintained and the staff have always been friendly. They're always trained in the latest techniques too. I LOVE the Dip Powder and they carry SO many colors! My original tech moved away so now I see Moon. She's very good, does my shape exactly as I want. Tran charged $45 which is way more than what I pay in Atlanta, but I thought Ok because they looked great when I left the salon. The problem was 3 days later I see the first chip. Within a week from my appointment, I have another chip, a cracked nail and some of the nails look like there's new growth as the color no longer meets the base of the nail. My salon in Atlanta uses the SNS brand of dipping powder. I didn't notice if they used another brand or not or if they weren't applied correctly. I was in town on business so I didn't have an opportunity to go back to get them fixed. read more

This place would get zero stars if that was an option. My pedicure was horrible she was digging into my toes and they had no colors to choose from. All i wanted was a tan color....if u want good nails go to urban savvy nail spa. They are the only place who does good nails. I live right around the corner and always pass this nail salon on the way home from work. I came in today with my fiancé for 2 spa pedicures. Lynn took care of me and she REALLY took care of me. The entire time I felt relaxed and she gIves the most amazing massages. I never felt like the process was rushed and was totally relaxed my entire time. My fiancé isn't crazy about getting pedicures but he also had a wonderful relaxing night. Vivian did a great job and it was nice looking over and seeing him super relaxed. I mean.. how else would you want to spend a Tuesday night!!! I loved how clean everything was and that a new packet of supplies was opened for me. First of all, they don't sanitize anything, and I mean anything not even the tools. They also don't sanitize the pedicure bowls between clients. I had an appointment but still had to wait a while while they took other clients. The girl doing my pedicure was great! Friendly and did a good job. However another girl was giving me a manicure during the pedicure but kept walking away mid task to work on other people. I'm not sure my nails were actually all done. Didn't make for a great experience and I won't be coming back. read more

Someone removed my previous review, so here it is again. I had a great pedicure by Linn. Great leg massages, etc. When done, I asked for a shellac manicure. It said $25 for $30 manicure. Okay. Then manager told me that they usually charge $5 extra for removal of a previous shellac to new customers only, not returning customers. What? Removal of shellac is not included in the price? She said everyone charges extra for that. NO THEY DON'T. I had just RVed across the country, getting manicures all along the Southern Coast and have never paid extra for shellac removal. As a matter of fact, I had been given discounts based on the fact that I was a first time customer. I would not recommend this place for a manicure, bc they are unaware, so clueless. BTW, I got the manicure for the yelp special price but there's big lump on one of my nails meaning that the young lady who did my manicure didn't take enough care to clean off my nail before applying new polish. This was my first visit to Happy Nails and it did not disappoint. Excellent service, very welcoming staff. I had a pedicure and a no-chip manicure and was so pleased they did both at the same time. My manicure was finished and while the girl was finishing my pedicure, the manicurist came back and looked at my nails. She didn't like that the right hand was lighter than the left hand. She immediately began working on the right hand to make sure the colors were perfectly matched. I've never seen such precision. Based off of other reviews on Yelp I stopped here on my way home. I saw they had some fun nail art on a lot of their posts and asked for a 4th of July decoration on my big toe. The pedicure was normal. The massage chair was very relaxing (it did do an unusual butt thing). The girl who did my pedicure attempted the star & stripes but the final result was awful. I told her & she started to redo it but finally had another girl come do it. It took A LONG time (about 2 1/2 hours) because I had to wait for the other girl to finish with her client. He end result was OK. There was a little smudging because they tried to do the top coat before it was dry enough. read more

Everything inside is pink and white which made the ambiance very feminine but also really cute. The women here were so sweet and they were extremely friendly to us. Tiffany specifically helped me on my nails and was so wonderful to me. I was specific with what colors I wanted on each nail and she wasn't frustrated, like some women have been in the past. I was very happy with the way my nails turned out. The women were very sweet and really conversed with us, we had several laughs and my overall experience was fantastic.
