Tried out Happy Nails before the holiday rush and we very pleased with my service. The nail salon was bright pink, vibrant and relaxing. Wendy did the cat eye ombré on my nails and it turned out so nice. I rarely try anything besides pink and French but she didn't disappoint. I will be back in for my next nail appointment. read more

I normally never leave bad reviews, but this was honestly one of the most frustrating salon experiences I've had. I came in for a basic pedicure, which is listed as 30 minutes and $35. I ended up being there for almost TWO HOURS for a simple white pedicure. From the beginning, I asked for white polish with one light sparkle coat on top -- very simple. The technician seemed confused, so I explained multiple times. She started painting my nails with a sheer, see-through white that barely looked white at all, so I stopped her and clarified again that I wanted a solid white color. At one point, THREE different employees had to come over just to understand that I wanted plain white nails. I even pointed out another customer nearby who had the exact white color I was asking for. After repeatedly asking for plain white polish with no silver, she held up a white bottle and continued. From where I was sitting, it looked fine -- until I finally looked closely and realized my nails were completely silver and sparkly, not white at all. I told her again that this was not the color I wanted, but I felt completely brushed off. Then when I went to pay, I was charged $55 total, including an extra $20 for gel polish that I NEVER asked for. Two hours, the wrong color, poor communication, and extra charges for services I didn't request. Extremely disappointed. read more

I went to get a fill and 3 missing nails. I didn't like the work they did because they are crooked, lumpy and they charged me $100 for this. Will never go back they might do good work with short simple nails but they failed with long nails for sure read more

First time client. I had told her I haven't been to nail salon in a year due to damaged nails. My technician went on to give me a talking to for approximately 5-7 minutes, lecturing me on numerous points. I asked for extensions , she said not unless they are hard gel. Still have no idea what the difference is because was too busy being lectured, she never actually explained. The part that gets me, her volume was so loud everyone could hear. It was very rude and embarrassing. I don't feel the need to be chastised for giving my experience. I was there to relax, and instead I was miserable the entire time. 2 stars for good manicure whatever it was, and beautiful salon. read more

I used to be a frequent customer since I lived and worked only a few minutes away. I have since moved to the other side of town and now work from home so it has been years since my last visit. After dropping off my engagement ring at a jewelry store down the street, I decided to stop in for a fresh mani/pedi. 4 years later, the quality is still great, if not better! I saw their website was updated with some fun nail art so I decided to get a basic pedicure and a gel manicure with a cute design. The salon is cute, however don't expect much from the service. They say they do gel builder but the technique is different. I tried doing my nails here 3x, 2 times my nails broke within two weeks. And now the third time she polished it terribly. I mentioned I liked the polish Russian style close to the cuticle and she said "you should just go get Russian style manicure then". And charged me $5 for cutting my cuticles. Not coming back read more

I am so glad my best Greek gal pal Kat M. directed me to this place. I really do not get my nails done often but when I do I expect a nice experience and for them to look good. Situated in a plaza juxtaposed to a Shell Gas Station, Happy Nails is tucked away and easy to miss. Google maps will direct you to the correct place. There is ample parking out front. The salon itself isn't large, but is very comfortable and nicely appointed. Like the name denotes, there are little accents of emojis strewn about, such as smiley face throw pillows on chairs, etc. I made a reservation for a manicure and it was great that I was directed to a chair soon after I arrived. Kate did my nails and she was very nice and professional. She helped cater to what I wanted. I left with a nicely applied shellac manicure however I discovered that SNS is also employed here and I will opt for that application next time the mood to get my nails done strikes me. I found a new nail salon home. I would often see one of my co-workers nails and toes and they would always look so nice. She advised that this is where she go to get them done on her lunch break. So, I finally gave it a try yesterday after work. Jenny did my toes. I was kind of nervous, because I wasn't able to get a visual as she worked her magic. Normally, I have to be able to see what's going on because 9 times out of 10 I would have to give instruction and/or advise when I see that things are getting ready to take a turn for the worse. However, for some odd reason, I didn't really feel that I had to go that route. When I finally got a chance to lay my eyes on m.y toes.. I was in shock and awe. She did an amazing job. I must say that I have been to several nail salons throughout the Tampa Bay area even other states and none of their craftsmanship compare to that of Happy Nails. In addition, I'm not sure what kind of products they use but I can most definitely tell that they're not the same as what some of these other nail salons are using. You can tell it's top quality. I have been going to this salon for over 10 years. Jenny and staff have become dear friends. They are always welcoming and concerned that I am comfortable. Everyone is respectful of my time and is very efficient if I need a quick in and out. They have made some great improvements to look and feel over the last year or so and I love the new bright welcoming look. Their prices are well in line with their services, quality and cleanliness. When I am out and about I constantly get compliments on how beautiful my nails and brows. Thank you to all the staff for all you do to make me look gorgeous! read more

Just left there today and it was a great experience! I don't get my nails done very often, but I loved it! Great massage chairs! Two people working on you at once (if you're doing a mani/pedi), funny movie on to watch, very clean salon and extremely kind people! :) Also, one thing that I absolutely loved it how much the technicians payed close attention to detail and made sure that everything was done perfectly! Plus, they were all very gentle with may hands and feet! Amazing experience! Would definitely go again and I certainly recommend it! :) read more

I have been going to Happy Nails since 2005. The service, attention to detail and atmosphere is excellent. They have remodeled the salon in the past year and it beautiful. The pedicures are amazing. If you have the time I would recomend the deluxe one. Well worth it!!!! Jenny has been my nail tech for all 10 years and she is outstanding!!! They go above and beyond and I like getting pampered for a few hours when I go (Nails, pedicure, waxing). Plus they always have a movie on :-) KUDOS!!!! I live in Georgia, so I was nervous to go anywhere unfamiliar to get my nails done for my sister's wedding that's here in Florida. Happy Nails was hands down the best place we could have gone! The staff was so welcoming and helpful, conversational and great at what they do. We had Lynn, Katie, Jenny and LouAnn helping us and they were fantastic! They even suggested colors and styles that would work best for each of us individually. We need them in Georgia!! read more

This has been by far the most pleasant experience I've ever had at a nail salon. Dani was sweet, professional and an amazing person overall. She took her time to make sure all my nails were even and consistently asked me to check. I showed her a photo of what I hoped for and she walked me through the process that would get me the closest results. Absolute perfection. I can't stop admiring my nails and I know I'll be back! Great Value. I paid $26 for pedicure, plus $5 extra for the French nail polish. They have very nice massaging chairs that allow you to also lay back and control the recline as well. They started with the usual nail polish removal, callus removal, and a foot and leg exfoliation, followed by a coolng gel on your legs with hot towels. Very relaxing. This is my second time here and Lynn is awesome!! Not only Lynn, but the WHOLE salon and every nail tech here has a smile on their face and seriously know what they are doing! I have many many experiences with pedicures and I consider myself 'picky' when it comes to my nails but I was 100% satisfied with my services from Lynn at Happy Nails! Had a wonderful experience for a pedicure when I was looking to kill some time waiting to pick up someone from the airport. Vivianne was excellent. I work at the Waldorf Astoria Spa in Orlando as a full service cosmetologist and massage therapist. Having done nails for years my standards are the highest in the business. Happy Nails is by far the best nail salon I have ever been to for a quality manicure and pedicure at a great price. All the ladies are so friendly and welcoming. I paid over 120 dollars for a gel manicure and pedicure. The manicure started chipping within 2 days. Hairline cracks appeared on 2 nails below the white part of the nail. I thought i had possibly gotten an old bottle of polish or that it was applied too thick. When I called to schedule an appt to take it off and get a manicure with no polish I told them I expect at least part of this to be compensated as I have been going there 3 years and this manicure was not the quality I usually receive, so much so that i have to take time out of my day for an extra appt. This means i have to leave work, drive there and sit there for them to fix my nails that should have been done correctly in the first place. So the manager, Wah, reaches out via voicemail and says he would like to talk but wont be in this afternoon. I then get an email the next morning saying I didnt call him back and he wants to talk to me. I quickly responded to the email, pointing out he told me he wouldnt be in and provided times i was free that day and he called. This was the worst customer service call i have had in all 40 plus years of my life. Wah was extremely agressive and had to make a point to tell me that polish doesnt chip that way. I told him i have never had this happen to me before and this is why i was wanting it taken off - I was not asking for a free gel manicure, i simply wanted it taken off and then to clean up the nails that had ripped. He kept on about how the nails and polish cant chip the way I was saying, essentially calling me a liar. So I told him that I didnt think the conversation was going anywhere and it was clear he was not going to help (since all he was saying is that I was lying essentially). He finally said he would refund the card but I am no longer allowed to go there. For what? Calling out one bad manicure in 3 years of service? How ridiculous is that. I told him to keep his $35 dollars, I will never be returning. Unfortunately, who he really hurt with his overly aggressive male attitude was the best manicurist i had in a long time and routinely paid over $20 tip to (not the one who did my nails that particular day as my regular girl was not available). Loosing clients is never justified by having to prove you are right, Wah, especially over $35. Great job hurting your business and the people who work for you. STAY AWAY, AS SOON AS YOU HAVE AN ISSUE THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOU AS A CLIENT.
