Amazing nail tech. She took her time and was very social. The inside was very clean and sanitary.

Also I don't feel like the perm was completely washed out despite also using vinegar. I have a few burn spots but my neck is the worst. I just didn't feel like I was a customer that was wanted back. No suggestions on hair care or even asked if I wanted to make a follow up appointment for a wash and set. Maybe I have been spoiled by the Dominicans in NYC. This was my second time don't think there will be a third. If you don't have long silky hair and want a roller set-I'd look elsewhere.

My 3C/4A curls were healthy and fully back to their natural texture after months of rehab from a hair Botox treatment I got done late last year. I went to Julissa's Blow Dry Bar in late July after a recommendation and good reviews. Huge mistake. First, the salon charges separately for things that should be included -- no roller sets unless booked separately, and you pay for a haircut and blowout as two different services. My bill for a haircut, deep treatment, blowout, and tip? $130. Pricey, but I could've lived with that. What I can't live with is the chemically altered hair I now have. A week later, I washed my hair and smelled chemicals immediately. After towel drying, my curls were gone -- limp, stringy, and clearly chemically altered. This is not heat damage. I know the difference. Months of work restoring my curls, now done the drain. My hair was destroyed in one visit. Now I have to wear my hair straight for months while I try to rehab it. If you care about your hair's health and integrity, DO NOT go here. I trusted them and paid the price. Julia and this salon should be ashamed.

I was a loyal client of Sense of Skin for over two years and received a wide range of services,…read moreincluding lip blushing, Hydrafacials, chemical peels, ombré brows, bikini waxes, and lash services. I initially began going to this location because the artist who previously did my eyebrows relocated, and this studio felt like a convenient place to receive multiple services in one location. For a long time, my experiences were positive. However, over the past several months, there was a noticeable decline in both service quality and professionalism. It began with a bikini wax that felt rushed and was left patchy. I chose not to complain at the time and simply stopped booking waxing services there. Shortly after, I experienced an issue during a lash appointment where my lashes were glued together. I asked for them to be corrected, and another technician confirmed the issue. Despite this, I still attempted to continue as a client due to my long-standing history with the business. The most serious concern occurred during my most recent Hydrafacial with extractions. I had received this same service many times before--especially from a senior technician--without any complications. This time, the facial was performed by a newer technician, and afterward I was left with scarring on my face. Because this reaction was completely different from my prior experiences, I returned to the studio to raise my concerns. Rather than addressing the issue with care or accountability, my concerns were dismissed and I was told the outcome was "normal." Shortly after that interaction, I discovered I was no longer able to book appointments and had effectively been removed as a client. Additionally, the owner, Danielle, attempted to prevent me from receiving eyebrow services from an independent provider who rents a suite within the same location. This was especially concerning, as that provider operates independently, and my prior relationship with her is what initially led me to choose this studio. This attempt to interfere further reinforced my concerns about how client disputes are handled. What is particularly troubling is that the studio's website and client paperwork do not clearly disclose policies regarding client discontinuation or restrictions of this nature. This lack of transparency is especially concerning for permanent makeup services, where clients invest significant time and money and rely on long-term follow-up care. When I attempted to schedule my lip blushing touch-up, my request was declined. As a result, I am now required to spend approximately $500 at another salon to have the work corrected, rather than the standard $150 touch-up fee, since many professionals will not work over another provider's work. Throughout this experience, I did not feel my concerns were handled professionally or respectfully. During my time as a client, I also observed frequent staff turnover, which raised concerns about internal management and consistency of training. When reviewing other negative feedback, I noticed a recurring pattern in which concerns appear to be met with defensiveness rather than accountability or resolution. This establishment seems to retaliate against clients that complain about poor service, techs that leave, and even people renting space from them, due to personal matters. They would rather lose clients, income, techs, and more rather than rectify a situation or even admit their wrongs. Very unprofessional.  While I understand that any business has the right to refuse service, professionalism, transparency, and accountability are critical--especially when offering permanent makeup and advanced skin treatments. Based on my experience, I strongly encourage anyone considering these services to carefully review all policies in writing before booking here.

Couldn't think of more deserving individual to make her dreams come true. Elena is very knowledgeable and passionate in skin care. Her European facials make my skin glow and I can see the imperfections go away in as little as one session!! She's wonderful at making recommendations of at home care too. She doesn't sell any products (yet?), so you know she only wants the best for her clients. Multi-step facials are customized for every client, so it's not one of those 1-hour cookie-cutter sessions you normally get elsewhere... Honestly, it's usually over 1.5 hours, so easily make the day of it. And it's very reasonably priced for what you get! Besides facials, I've done eyebrow tinting and eye lash curling. I'm a horrible eye lash client, because it's hard to keep me away from the water and therefore it doesn't last as long as it could. Eyebrows are on-point though! Honestly, something this small makes a huge difference... Elena also does permanent makeup on lips, eye brows, and eye liners. She's holds several certifications from both, Europe and America and constantly seeks professional development opportunities. I haven't done any of PMU services, but if I ever decide to, she's my girl!!

The Best in Clearwater!…read more I just have to share my experience with two incredible beauty professionals: Svetlana is hands down the best esthetician in the Clearwater area. Her facials, deep cleanings, and massages are absolutely amazing -- my skin has never looked better. She also has the most effective laser for hair removal I've ever tried. The results are visible after just one session, and the treatment is gentle, clean, and super professional. My skin is smooth and irritation-free -- perfect for summer! Irina is the ultimate expert in permanent makeup and eyelash extensions. Her work is always precise, natural-looking, and long-lasting. Brows, lips, eyeliner -- everything looks flawless. And her lash extensions? Gorgeous, full, and so lightweight -- you forget you're even wearing them! Irina is not just a technician, she's an artist who brings out your natural beauty. Highly recommend both of these talented women! If you're looking for real professionals who care about quality and results -- look no further
