I got strawberry splatter all over me and it looked like blood so I played dead. Strawberry hill was the best picking for me. 10 minutes to fill two buckets with big ripe berries that you need to eat within a few days or they are gone. Sweet, no funny taste. About an hour drive for me, but going back this weekend. It's worth the drive to me.

I ended up going to Ed's Plant World in Brandywine where the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful to a beginner. The difference was night and day. That said, I'm giving 4 stars because the place is really awesome in terms of selection and variety. The woman in the herb section may have just been having a bad day.
