Beautiful farm. Lovely experience with delicious berries. If only the bugs would stay away!

Summer's Farm is a huge place and perfect for kids to go to during the fall/ Halloween time. They…read morealso have the sunflower festival in which you can catch the tractor/ hay ride to cut out some flowers. I don't particularly like this area because it's always so many bees and also slim picking depending on when you go. Beyond that they have several activities for kids to do and you could stay for hours with different photo ops, the petting zoo, the big bounce area, the zip line, tug of war, the goat race and many more. They even have fireworks on select nights. The place is pretty big and we can never finish everything in one day because it's a lot of walking lol. Nevertheless it's well worth the money , customer service is good, and it is a lot to do. I would recommend taking better care of the petting zoo because it really wasn't kept as well as I would've liked it to be. Side note: There was an incident in which an elderly woman fell while I was there. I would like to commend the staff for how much care and support they gave her to make sure she was OK.

Fun day out in beautiful almost fall weather!…read more My friend and I came for their Teacher Appreciation Weekend event. The general admission charge was waived for teachers and one guest. That was quite generous! Parking was easy and plentiful. Included in the freebies was six pick your own blooms from their sunflower field or zinnia patch. The farm is filled with activities for kids to explore such as jumping pillows, mega slides, rope mazes, and flying pig zip lines to names a few. There are other things adults can partake in such as the corn maze (short and long paths), corn hole, and of course the wagon ride to the pumpkin patch (not ready when we were there) and the sunflower fields. We didn't eat, but there's a barnyard grill, pizza, kettle corn and apple cider donuts for sale. We missed the scheduled pig races. It was a fun day in the sun.

He then proceeded to yell at some employees and tell them to call the cops so I drove my tank into the dense thickets of strawberries. I started firing at the Wegmeyer employees and they fired back. I got strawberry splatter all over me and it looked like blood so I played dead. The workers came over to haul my body into the dumpster bc a death would be "bad for business" but then I ninja moved them and Mr Wegmeyer was so happy at my moves he gave me free produce. 11/10 highly recommend

The 40/bucket and reservation red tape is fairly annoying but maybe Nova just has too many rich people into expensive strawberry picking that y'all need to line them up. Strawberry hill was the best picking for me. 10 minutes to fill two buckets with big ripe berries that you need to eat within a few days or they are gone. Sweet, no funny taste. About an hour drive for me, but going back this weekend. It's worth the drive to me.

I have always gone to Hartland Orchard just down the road for apple picking, but thanks to the…read morepandemic, I found myself looking for new outdoor activities and found myself looking for berry picking. Green Truck Farm did not disappoint! We were greeted by rows and rows of black raspberries, which I had never experienced before, but taste like a more flavor-packed version of raspberries. After we had our fill of black raspberries, we walked over to the blueberries and picked our hearts out. Advice: -Black raspberries tend to sell out first so start there if you're planning to pick at both places. -Subscribe to Green Truck Farm on Facebook for the latest updates about ripeness. -Visit their cousins down the road at Hartland Orchard for other fruit (cherries, peaches, apples).

We went the last week of May and there were still hundreds of strawberries to pick from! When you first enter the orchard/farm they give you a box that contains 6 of the strawberry holders. When we went in May 2021, they were around $4.99/lb. You have rows and rows of strawberries to pick from that are spread out nicely enough that it was easy to avoid people who didn't wear masks. The process was easy and the strawberries were delicious! My family and I demolished 6 boxes in less than a week.
