We are in the market for baby gear to add to our registry. We didn't want to rely on the countless reviews and YT videos, so luckily, found a place near us that has what we wanted to check out in person. They require a $25 reservation deposit that goes towards a purchase (or in our case, can be applied to the stroller/car seat that we purchased). The staff here were nice, but it seemed like they just memorized off a script. We were supposed to get an invoice shortly after our appointment, but didn't get it until days after my husband following up with them. read more

I've been wanting to come here for a long time and finally made my way here. This place is super cute and while a lot of the products here are out of my budget, there are some cute things that I've grabbed for my kiddos. The clothing I find here are things that I've not seen in on stores (online or brick and mortar) and the quality is really good. The staff are helpful and kind and do not mind answering questions. They have cute toys, books, furniture, and other little things that make your child's closet and room unique! read more

Phnewfula isn't just the owner of Happy Mango, she's a community leader, bringing moms from diverse backgrounds together. She will truly be missed in the Kirkwood neighborhood, but the presence of happy mango is for all of Atlanta. They have great customer service, a good customer loyalty program, and all the best organic and high-quality brands. read more

Unfortunately I have had a terrible experience with Happy Mango. I placed an order for a portable crib on March 2nd. After 4 weeks of the item not being shipped, I requested cancellation and a refund on March 30th. I received an acknowledgement of the cancellation and promise to refund but 12 days later I have still not received a refund. They are no longer responding to my emails and will not answer the phone (voicemail says 'full'). Wondering if I've been scammed. read more

Love love love this store. I don't recall how i discovered Happy Mango considering i live in the boonies now but i have stop by often to pick up little things like pacifiers, Ola baby, Mimijumi & Natursutten bottles and other items here and there when in the city. I was in an accident and needed to replace my car seat so i decided on the Nuna brand. They were the only store in Atlanta metro that i found to have the Rava in stock. Of course, the color i wanted had to be ordered but as soon as it came in, i received an email to pick up. The owner, Phnewfula is a CPST and was kind enough to install it in my car! Lifelong customer here! read more

Absolutely love this item (Sonogram Frame) that I ordered. My Laughter in law is going to luv this.

This store has the absolute worst customer service. We ordered a glider online in order to shop local and we are regretting that decision now. There was no follow up once ordered, we continuously had to call the store for updates on shipping (which took way longer than if we ordered direct from manufacturer) and ended up paying a hidden $40 delivery fee to our house which is less than 2 miles even though when we purchased it said LOCAL DELIVERY FREE. I asked to speak to the owner and never received a call back. Unless you like waiting longer for your items and paying more, I'd take my business elsewhere especially for anything ordered online. read more

I would leave zero stars if it was an option. I ordered a baby stroller 3-1/2 months ago. I haven't received the product and haven't received the refund I was told I would get. Communication is horrible and nothing happens unless I keep reaching out and pushing them. Now I have to resort to social media so someone with Happy Mango will refund my money so I can buy a stroller elsewhere. And in the meantime my grandbaby has been born and I have no stroller. read more

Happy Mango straight up just stole my money and then lied about it. I ordered some lotion for my pregnant s/o and not only did they never deliver it, when I brought it to their attention via email, they lied and said it had been shipped, even though it was clear from the tracking information that this item was never processed beyond the generation of the tracking number. THEN, they had the nerve to send me a "Were you happy with your product, please write a review" email. No refund, no product... Well, crappy mango, here's your review... A**holes. read more

I'm so happy I stumbled across this store after brunch. When I entered the store I noticed the positive message on the wall that set the mood of the store. I had been looking for something inspiring to get my bestie daughter who is headed to pre-k this year. The owner greeted me when I entered and asked what I was looking for. I told her and she immediately said I have the perfect gift. She showed me some beautiful books and I fell in love. It was exactly what I've been looking for. Then I remembered that she needed a back pack and I found the cutest eco-friendly and washable back pack. I mean I seriously wish they made this in an adult size. The store also does gift wrapping and has a beautiful station titled That's A Wrap! Everything is the store is eco-friendly and it's simply cute. I had a wonderful experience and can't wait to go back and add to Brooklynn's book collection. Thank you so much to the owner, Phnewfula, who was so nice and helpful. read more

See all

Wonderful experience and really helpful staff. Would give this place six stars if I had an option. Received a stroller with an item missing and the staff was absolutely amazing in contacting the manufacturer and expediting the missing part to me. read more

I recently popped into Happy Mango since I was in the neighborhood and needed to kill time; plus doing some reconnaissance work regarding baby gifts for friends sounded like a wise idea. Ended up spending more time in there than I expected, oops! You'd think a baby/kids store that touts itself as green, eco-friendly, and organic would abound with astronomical prices and snooty attitudes, but that's not the case at all. The proprietress is a really kind and welcoming lady who is totally game to talk to clueless people about baby goods and items. She has a sweet daughter too. There is so much stuff, from cribs, bath items, toys, swaddles, books, and beyond. I really liked the foreign language blocks and the BabyLit (Jane Austen!) books. I didn't buy anything this time, but I liked how there was completely no pressure to purchase. Online shopping is an option too. Wouldn't hesitate to return. read more

Was able to visit Happy Mango last time I was in ATL and test out the rocking chair I had been eyeing. The online order process was extremely easy and the staff was very helpful when I called to ask questions. Our chair arrived extremely quickly and we couldn't be happier! Im so happy we were able to support a small locally owned business and knowing their customer service and processes were just far superior to any big box store. I highly recommend shopping with Happy Mango even if you don't live In the ATL area. read more

The customer service with happy mango was absolutely amazing. I without a doubt was one of those anxious first time moms watching everything on the tracker and asking one million questions. Happy mango never made me feel as if I was bothering them and was always so reassuring answering all and any questions I ever had. Even when we had some website issues they were quick with responses and apologetic for any inconvenience. read more

Have shopped here many times for myself and gifts ! Very very cute black woman owned small business !! I would recommend her store to anyone expecting or have little ones or planning on it read more

Great selection and customer-oriented small business! Happy to support this shop!

Never shipped product after 3 plus weeks of ordering online. I found this store online advertising a discount for the Mesa Max Car Seat Base. They offered free shipping versus another online store with same discount so I decided to go with them. Unfortunately three weeks went by without any updates other than confirmation of my order on the first day. I email for updates and got a prompt response saying they will update within 48 hours as my order was sent to their warehouse. A week later still no response on my order, so I asked the them to cancel my order and give me my refund. And another 3 weeks later still no refund so I submitted a claim with credit card company. Luckily I had an email trail so I was given a refund from my credit card company. This company sounds like they advertise discounts with the intention to never deliver. Shitty experience so I will never give them my business. read more

I was looking for baby gifts online for a new mom-to-be who values sustainability and black-owned businesses, and I found everything I was looking for in Happy Mango. Beyond checking these boxes, they had great stuff for both mama and baby, offered free shipping, and their customer service was so sweet and accommodating when I asked to include a personal note after I placed my order. Will definitely be getting baby and mama gifts here again! read more

I. LOVE. Happy Mango! Phfnewfula and crew are amazing - can we franchise you in Dallas?. They have been very understanding in fulfilling a very special request, they brushed it off like another day at work, but for my friend and her family of 5 (almost 6) it has gone a long way to keep positive when it's really been needed. Thank you! read more

I visited the store before leaving out on a trip to purchase the Nuna stroller cover with wheels. While I was shopping I was also able to find a great gift for a friend of mine that is not drinking currently. Thank you for looking out for Moms, TTC Moms or anyone that cannot or does not drink. We love the Zero Proof product you carry. I have a son and felt a lot of clothing items were more girl focused. There were a lot of unique finds that will have me as a repeat customer. read more

Skip the big box stores and purchase your baby items from Happy Mango. Support a small business!!!

Not a fan. Don't like being misled either. Ordered an item that was in stock. No communication whatsoever. Had to follow up myself 11 days later to be told it was not shipped yet and apparently not even on hand. Supposedly they had emailed me, but no email exists to that effect. Be very wary when ordering as they may not have it available, despite what they tell you. Ended up getting refunded promptly when asked. Will buy elsewhere going forward. I can only imagine the hassle if i ever needed to return something. You should see the email exchange that led to the cancellation. Amateur hour. Customer service department needs training in how to handle botched transactions. It was a very disinterested attitude. Lesson learned. read more

This is an upend lines baby store. You can see many of the popular, better strollers and car seats. The store is a happy place. I love purchasing from local businesses and local business owners. This is one of those places. It's also Black Owned which I want to support. Storefronts have had it hard after COVID. The staff here are friendly but not pushy, knowledgeable, easy to work with, even for a 60+ grandmother. The orders come in quickly if they don't have it in stock. Parking is a pain because The Works is busy but park near Ballards and take a short walk read more

Super cute onesies and my babe loves his new toys

We absolutely love Happy Mango! Every time we stop in it seems we find something new to love! Our latest find is the adorable Finn & Emma hanky bib- perfect and so cute for our teething 4 month old. Staff is super friendly and approachable. We decided to get our Ergo 360 carrier from here and we were allowed to try it on right in store! My mother works with kids and loves the Begin Again puzzles as they're super durable and able to weather the kid storms they're put through daily. This store is def our go-to baby gear spot, and of course everything is Eco-friendly and baby-conscious!! And who doesn't love to shop local? If you haven't stopped in there yet, run, don't walk! read more

My friend loved the onesie I sent for from her registry! Everything was seamless and easy to navigate, and the onesie got there so quickly!

Spent $600 on a car seat. Order was placed, after multiple emails and phone calls received absolutely a no update on when the item would be shipped. 28 days later and it has now been radio silent. Take your money to a different business. Don't waste your time and money on the possibility of going through what I am dealing with. The BBB is next on my list to file a complaint. read more

Nice shop for diverse baby gifts. I would encourage them to hire an intern or a part timer. When 2 patrons are in the shop at the same time, one has to wait to be helped. read more

Best customer service in the state!! I was in Atlanta, on vacation, and I happened upon this little gem of a baby boutique. Boy am I glad I stopped in! The owner was there and she was the sweetest person ever! She was an expert on every single item in her store. We were going to buy one specific brand of stroller but we are so grateful she gave us information on Agio our Z3 stroller. Not only did we buy the stroller but we continue to shop with Happy Mango and ordered an Agio Kinetic on Small Business Saturday. The car seat was shipped so quickly. We are in California and we received the seat 3 days after ordering. Stop into Happy Mango as you will not be sorry!! read more

Just got our car seat installed here. The owner was kind, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and patient! She showed us how to do the installation and then watched my partner go through the same steps patiently answering his questions, pointing out what he had missed, and working with him until he got it right. A very positive and easy experience!!!! read more

Great little local baby/kid shop in Kirkwood. They have natural and amazing baby products here. The store owner is always helpful too!

Great store the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. Very detailed oriented about all baby products. She had great tips on baby equipment especially after informing her we would be moving to Chicago. She made great recommendations based on the climate change compared to Georgia on different brands that would be more useful for cold weather. read more

Happy Mango is such a neighborhood gem! Great customer service that makes you feel like family, and everything you need for your infant or toddler from roll-able travel place mats to hair products to push toys. We found our son the cutest Superman swim diaper there and a rubber, somewhat colorless ball that he adores (go figure)! Great if you want to buy a baby/toddler gift, too. Lots of unique items there. We don't live near Kirkwood but it is definitely worth the trip. read more

I absolutely love Happy Mango! The store brings together the perfect combination of supplies for moms, babies and children without overstimulating its customers with so much inventory as I've seen in other shops. I love the fact that all products are eco-conscious and have a vintage feel. The staff and store owner are so sweet and really have a passion for helping new moms. I went by myself the first time and have since been back three times in orders to share the shop with my husband and both grandmothers. read more

My family went into Happy Mango after an outing at the local library. The woman who was there offered NO assistance whatsoever.
