We've had both our boys at Happy Little Explorers since they were 2 years old. Now at 4 and almost 3, they're thriving, and it's all thanks to Zoe, Reed, and their amazing team. From day one, Zoe was incredibly patient and supportive. She let us ease our first son in gradually with just a couple days a week, which helped him feel comfortable. Eventually, we transitioned to full-time, and now both our boys look forward to going every single day.
What really sets this preschool apart is the creativity, warmth, and genuine care Zoe and Reed bring to everything. Each month has a fun new theme like post office, hospital, or construction site, and the kids get to learn through hands-on play. They've had visits from the local fire department with their fire truck and ambulance, music lessons with a music teacher, yoga classes, and even a visit from the Tumble Bus, which is a converted mobile gym. On warm days, they do water play in the backyard, which our boys absolutely love.
The outdoor space is incredible. There's a huge backyard with chickens and other small, friendly farm animals, plus lots of room to play and explore. Even on rainy days, the kids still go outside to get fresh air and have fun.
As parents, we've always felt confident that our kids are safe, happy, and learning. Zoe and her team send regular updates, photos, and videos through the Brightwheel app, which gives us so much peace of mind throughout the day.
Now that we're moving and looking at other preschools, we realize just how special this one is. Nothing else has matched the level of engagement, creativity, and personalized attention that Zoe, Reed, Itzel, and Natalie bring to each child. We've also loved seeing the preschool grow from just a few families to a larger, vibrant community that still feels close-knit and personal.
Happy Little Explorers isn't part of a big chain. It's a warm, home-grown preschool run by people who truly care, and it shows. We can't recommend it enough. read more
